Came here with a reservation (recommended) on a weeknight, and it was pretty busy. We got some deviled eggs with caviar and I ordered the scallops. The eggs were fantastic, and as someone who very rarely indulges in caviar, I enjoyed the flavor it added. The scallops were delicious as well, perfectly cooked with the right amount of sweetness from the fruit. Service was very polite and helpful, and the place is thoughtfully decorated. They also have a rooftop bar with a nice view, where we went after dinner for a beer. Highly recommend for a good meal!

My first experience at Salt Wharf was certainly a good one! First, the juxtaposition of architecture between the older part of Camden, and this newly developed area is very innovative. The design of the space is very cool with glass garage doors being opened up when the weather is good. The bar was small, but great looking, and definitely a cool place to sit if I was there alone. The food was quite good, and some dishes had a twist. We tasted a variety of menu items including the oysters with Black lime mignonette, the deviled eggs with caviar and the local mussels. All were excellent. Dinner was steak frites with one of the better chimmichuri sauces that I have ever eaten for sure. The lobster roll had some pickled vegetables in it including carrots, which seemed out of place, but I was told it was good. Our server was very knowledgeable, and fortunate for us, the weather was absolutely perfect. Can't beat the view of Camden Harbor.

    Outside with Oysters!

We got seating on the second floor bar. The lobster roll was amazing. The smash burger was really good. But don't sleep on the oysters! We had Sweet Lucy's out of Brunswick. Small and delicious! The staff was amazing and very attentive. Never an empty drink! Great views.

Located right on the wharf in a beautiful setting. Reservations recommended as the space is a little on the smaller side for the dinning area. Plenty of free parking. Our table was off to the side very close to another party so I wasn't super thrilled about that but it was a pleasant experience all the same. Beautiful bar and well crafted cocktails. We had the steak frites with truffle fries and the halibut. Both were well prepared and delicious. Perfect place for dinner and drinks or go for drinks and dessert!

Such a cool location right on the water. We sat at the bar and had great service from our bartender. The fresh bread and oysters were easily our favorite!

If you want a special memorable night you make a reservation at salt wharf! Staff helped us celebrate a special occasion with a glass of champagne on the house. It's what you're expecting! Delicious meticulously crafted food in an amazing location. Everything was a 10/10. Will be back.

FYI we only went for drinks and oysters. But I will say, the options for ciders was awesome. The oysters were actually fantastic. You can't beat the view. The staff was friendly. The seats were comfy. And they have blankets. What more could you want?! They do have a small menu, but I can't comment on it.

Went here for dinner on a whim while visiting from Texas. Only seats available were at the bar so we took them... and boy was it worth it!! The bar tenders were absolutely phenomenal along with all the food!! The oysters were out of this world good! Briny start with a nice meaty finish! Was a little curious about the black lime mignonette that went with them, but this was definitely a delicious change and nice addition! The mussels were also out of this world! Done deliciously with a light white wine sauce... Our main course was the Lobster risotto!! OMG! This was heavenly! I cannot imagine a more earthy herby deliciousness than this! It was done beautifully! And the lobster was so sweet and delicate! To top it off we were able to watch the fireworks for the Windjammer festival! Highly recommend this place and will definitely one again!

Still a very fun place with exceptional food and great service. The view of the harbor is beautiful as well. Well worth giving the place a try. And, free parking.

We sat on the rooftop and the views were spectacular. Limited menu but all 4 of us had our fill. Service was friendly.

White table cloth service. Servers were all excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. This place has the best fine dining experience in the mid-coast. Food was outstanding- every course. I did find the printed à la carte and dessert menus odd as they list the dishes' main ingredients but lack any preparation detail. So we found ourselves having to ask about several dishes before being able to make a selection. Maybe it is on purpose but it made me a bit uncomfortable to keep asking about preparation of the dishes throughout the courses. The only real negative for us is the same negative we had 10 years ago. We were seated in the porch area and I suspect they fill this area first as it has wonderful views of the Camden Hills. Both times we have been seated in there, there have been loud, fairly obnoxious diners (#-bombs flying this last visit) in the room with us. Complete turn off but nothing the restaurant can do about it. We will try Natalie's again but will forgo the porch dining for another room.

We asked for bread five different times and received it with our entree. The appetizers were average, with both having a breaded crust and tasting similar. Our bad on ordering them. My husband and I visited for drinks and spent a few hours at the bar. During the first part of our visit, we had a wonderful time. The atmosphere was friendly, we enjoyed meeting other patrons, including several Canadian Army veterans on a motorcycle tour, and the service from the initial bartender was excellent. We appreciated being allowed to play a complimentary game of pool. Unfortunately, the experience changed dramatically after the bartending shift change. From that point on, we felt unwelcome and believed staff chose to side with a small group of patrons during a disagreement rather than taking the time to understand the situation. Ultimately, we were asked to leave, which came as a complete surprise and left us feeling embarrassed and disappointed. What makes this especially frustrating is that we had spent a significant amount of money at the establishment and had been enjoying ourselves without issue for most of the evening. the way the situation was handled left us feeling dismissed and unfairly treated. Based on this experience, I would not return and don't recommend this establishment to other visitors.
