Ambiance: I LOVED the view from the harbor. The restaurant was beautiful, and very trendy. Perfect for a night out in town or a romantic getaway! Food: The food was delicious. I loved the deviled eggs with caviar and the Maine Halibut! Service: The service was great!

The food was SPECTACULAR! Deviled eggs were amazing it was my first time trying caviar and it was a delicious salty topping to my eggs! The steak was nicely cooked and juicy! The clams were very big and the sauce they were in was packed with flavor! The fish was nice and the veggies on the side were so good it was the best asparagus we've ever had! The service was good although they were out of a couple dishes we wanted, I don't blame them because we did come at 8:30 and they close at 9:00, so we had to compromise and try some new dishes but we were very pleased with them! We sat on a nice booth over looking the waterfront, just beautiful! Definitely come down in Camden, this was one of our best meals of the trip!

Came here with a reservation (recommended) on a weeknight, and it was pretty busy. We got some deviled eggs with caviar and I ordered the scallops. The eggs were fantastic, and as someone who very rarely indulges in caviar, I enjoyed the flavor it added. The scallops were delicious as well, perfectly cooked with the right amount of sweetness from the fruit. Service was very polite and helpful, and the place is thoughtfully decorated. They also have a rooftop bar with a nice view, where we went after dinner for a beer. Highly recommend for a good meal!

My first experience at Salt Wharf was certainly a good one! First, the juxtaposition of architecture between the older part of Camden, and this newly developed area is very innovative. The design of the space is very cool with glass garage doors being opened up when the weather is good. The bar was small, but great looking, and definitely a cool place to sit if I was there alone. The food was quite good, and some dishes had a twist. We tasted a variety of menu items including the oysters with Black lime mignonette, the deviled eggs with caviar and the local mussels. All were excellent. Dinner was steak frites with one of the better chimmichuri sauces that I have ever eaten for sure. The lobster roll had some pickled vegetables in it including carrots, which seemed out of place, but I was told it was good. Our server was very knowledgeable, and fortunate for us, the weather was absolutely perfect. Can't beat the view of Camden Harbor.

Located right on the wharf in a beautiful setting. Reservations recommended as the space is a little on the smaller side for the dinning area. Plenty of free parking. Our table was off to the side very close to another party so I wasn't super thrilled about that but it was a pleasant experience all the same. Beautiful bar and well crafted cocktails. We had the steak frites with truffle fries and the halibut. Both were well prepared and delicious. Perfect place for dinner and drinks or go for drinks and dessert!

Such a cool location right on the water. We sat at the bar and had great service from our bartender. The fresh bread and oysters were easily our favorite!

    Outside with Oysters!

We got seating on the second floor bar. The lobster roll was amazing. The smash burger was really good. But don't sleep on the oysters! We had Sweet Lucy's out of Brunswick. Small and delicious! The staff was amazing and very attentive. Never an empty drink! Great views.

If you want a special memorable night you make a reservation at salt wharf! Staff helped us celebrate a special occasion with a glass of champagne on the house. It's what you're expecting! Delicious meticulously crafted food in an amazing location. Everything was a 10/10. Will be back.

White table cloth service. Servers were all excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. This place has the best fine dining experience in the mid-coast. Food was outstanding- every course. I did find the printed à la carte and dessert menus odd as they list the dishes' main ingredients but lack any preparation detail. So we found ourselves having to ask about several dishes before being able to make a selection. Maybe it is on purpose but it made me a bit uncomfortable to keep asking about preparation of the dishes throughout the courses. The only real negative for us is the same negative we had 10 years ago. We were seated in the porch area and I suspect they fill this area first as it has wonderful views of the Camden Hills. Both times we have been seated in there, there have been loud, fairly obnoxious diners (#-bombs flying this last visit) in the room with us. Complete turn off but nothing the restaurant can do about it. We will try Natalie's again but will forgo the porch dining for another room.

Our server Ella was fantastic in walking us through the menu, giving us suggestions for our trip in Camden as newlyweds, and continually asking if we needed anything. We had a table outside with a beautiful view in the evening at sunset. And the food & wine was AMAZING. A big shout out to the Chefs and our Sommelier, Erik, who did a fantastic job. We had the Lobster Tasting Menu and Wagyu Steak and it was unreal. I would highly recommend. Dessert was some of the best I've ever had at a restaurant. We left so happy with our experience and would do it all over again. Thank you the whole staff for making our night so great.

Mussels and mushroom pizza were the choices for my table. I do wish they would go back to serving micro brews on taps, back in the day, they were the best bringing in top notch brews. They took us in as long as we were able to be out by 7pm (it was around 5:30pm). The food came out super fast (almost too fast). We only ordered mains since we already had happy hour elsewhere. They had one special polenta cake, but no other specials. The restaurant had not filled up yet, but appeared to have some reservations booked for later on. It was pretty hot and uncomfortable in the room, and wish they had better AC. It just made me want to eat and leave faster and made it hard to enjoy the meal. We were sat next to a portable unit but it wasn't doing a very good job and pointed away from us. I got the salmon over mushroom risotto. They asked how I wanted it cooked, which isn't usually something I get asked about salmon, so I said to cook how they normally would. It was probably about medium inside, still tender and not overcooked. The salmon had a strong grill taste but not enough seasoning and the fishy brown part was still attached underneath. The mushroom risotto and carrots were cooked and seasoned well. Overall, there wasn't anything major wrong with the meal, but I felt underwhelmed for the price tag ($36).

This one is located in downtown Camden and offers some outdoor patio seating with great views. Sea Dog Brewing is by no means in talks of outstanding beers or brewery considering the far superior competition the state of Maine has. Even their most popular blueberry beer tastes much more artificial than you would hope. Sea Dog has been a brewery for a long while but I don't think they have kept up with the quality of craft beer you can find now. Now despite that negative talk overall about their beers I do believe most of the locations do offer quality pub food. You will find a variety of options including sandwiches/burgers, salads, pasta, soups, and more. It's a spot that everyone in your party including picky eaters will find something they want. It does have a lot of space available for dining. Service wise during our visit was alright. Ordering took awhile and time of seeing our server from one time to next took a little while. Food wise I went with Sesame Chicken Bowl and my wife got the Sautéed Lemony Chicken Piccata. Food was alright, my wife's chicken was quite dry. Overall I think it's an alright spot to grab a bite to eat when in Camden. You can likely find better spots but like I mentioned they do offer quite a variety here so give it a shot.
