Came here with a reservation (recommended) on a weeknight, and it was pretty busy. We got some deviled eggs with caviar and I ordered the scallops. The eggs were fantastic, and as someone who very rarely indulges in caviar, I enjoyed the flavor it added. The scallops were delicious as well, perfectly cooked with the right amount of sweetness from the fruit. Service was very polite and helpful, and the place is thoughtfully decorated. They also have a rooftop bar with a nice view, where we went after dinner for a beer. Highly recommend for a good meal!

My first experience at Salt Wharf was certainly a good one! First, the juxtaposition of architecture between the older part of Camden, and this newly developed area is very innovative. The design of the space is very cool with glass garage doors being opened up when the weather is good. The bar was small, but great looking, and definitely a cool place to sit if I was there alone. The food was quite good, and some dishes had a twist. We tasted a variety of menu items including the oysters with Black lime mignonette, the deviled eggs with caviar and the local mussels. All were excellent. Dinner was steak frites with one of the better chimmichuri sauces that I have ever eaten for sure. The lobster roll had some pickled vegetables in it including carrots, which seemed out of place, but I was told it was good. Our server was very knowledgeable, and fortunate for us, the weather was absolutely perfect. Can't beat the view of Camden Harbor.

Located right on the wharf in a beautiful setting. Reservations recommended as the space is a little on the smaller side for the dinning area. Plenty of free parking. Our table was off to the side very close to another party so I wasn't super thrilled about that but it was a pleasant experience all the same. Beautiful bar and well crafted cocktails. We had the steak frites with truffle fries and the halibut. Both were well prepared and delicious. Perfect place for dinner and drinks or go for drinks and dessert!

Such a cool location right on the water. We sat at the bar and had great service from our bartender. The fresh bread and oysters were easily our favorite!

FYI we only went for drinks and oysters. But I will say, the options for ciders was awesome. The oysters were actually fantastic. You can't beat the view. The staff was friendly. The seats were comfy. And they have blankets. What more could you want?! They do have a small menu, but I can't comment on it.

Went here for dinner on a whim while visiting from Texas. Only seats available were at the bar so we took them... and boy was it worth it!! The bar tenders were absolutely phenomenal along with all the food!! The oysters were out of this world good! Briny start with a nice meaty finish! Was a little curious about the black lime mignonette that went with them, but this was definitely a delicious change and nice addition! The mussels were also out of this world! Done deliciously with a light white wine sauce... Our main course was the Lobster risotto!! OMG! This was heavenly! I cannot imagine a more earthy herby deliciousness than this! It was done beautifully! And the lobster was so sweet and delicate! To top it off we were able to watch the fireworks for the Windjammer festival! Highly recommend this place and will definitely one again!

Still a very fun place with exceptional food and great service. The view of the harbor is beautiful as well. Well worth giving the place a try. And, free parking.

We sat on the rooftop and the views were spectacular. Limited menu but all 4 of us had our fill. Service was friendly.

White table cloth service. Servers were all excellent. Knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. This place has the best fine dining experience in the mid-coast. Food was outstanding- every course. I did find the printed à la carte and dessert menus odd as they list the dishes' main ingredients but lack any preparation detail. So we found ourselves having to ask about several dishes before being able to make a selection. Maybe it is on purpose but it made me a bit uncomfortable to keep asking about preparation of the dishes throughout the courses. The only real negative for us is the same negative we had 10 years ago. We were seated in the porch area and I suspect they fill this area first as it has wonderful views of the Camden Hills. Both times we have been seated in there, there have been loud, fairly obnoxious diners (#-bombs flying this last visit) in the room with us. Complete turn off but nothing the restaurant can do about it. We will try Natalie's again but will forgo the porch dining for another room.

We finally got our drinks and were waiting for a table and watched the hostess do her job and then run over and make drinks. Nothing sanitary here as she tore up mint leaves and picked up fruits after working at the hostess stand. Yikes!! We wanted something simple for dinner so I ordered the Quesedilla appetizer. Right after we were seated, a table of 12 was seated next to us, which I knew would be problematic. To make matters worse, they were splitting their orders up in multiple people. The poor server. We waited very long for our food and my husband finally tagged another server and asked him to check. Sure enough our food was ready but our server was busy. My quesedillas were fine, nothing special.

I ordered the haddock sandwich, blackened (haddock is a must in Maine) and my partner ordered the hummus wrap. I enjoyed the sandwich; nothing too special but really hit the spot. Plus the fries were perfect. My partner thought the wrap was hearty and filling. It's not the best spot for vegetarians, but there are decent options.
