Live Scallops with Wasabi, Radish, and, Lime - 1st course of tasting menu! (10/01/22)

It's lovely to have a fine dining restaurant in Camden. Featuring farm-to-table Maine ingredients with a French flair dishes. White tablecloth with a red rose on both patio and dining room seating. I selected their 4-course tasting menu. Stunning presentation, most memorable was their "MAINE LOBSTER". Shoutout to all the fantastic sauces to each of their otherwise lightly seasoned courses. CHEERS!

Natalies is a fantastic place to stop by for a meal or a cocktail if you are in Camden. I would certainly recommend this to anybody looking for an elevated experience with the understanding there are certainly some flaws. Natalies was well reviewed and well recommended by anybody I had a chance to ask. I called a month in advance while planning out our anniversary vacation and specifically shared allergies and additionally requested out door seating. When receiving the confirmation phone call from Natalies the day before, I reminded them of our preference to seat out doors. While we were assured that as long as weather permitted, we would be obliged, the hostess was taken by surprise when I reminded her in person for our request. The atmosphere was great. Elevated, decadent, low lit, and not too loud. The outdoor seating is on two sides with one facing the water (which is gorgeous and why I kept on asking), followed by a less beautiful view. The hostess sat us on the lesser of two sides. Our waitress was quite kind, timely, and knowledgeable. Directing us skillfully to cocktails and dining options. My wife got the tasting menu whereas I got the lobster tasting menu. It amounts to about four to five courses with an amuse bouche and sometimes a small surprise dish which serves as a pallet cleanse. The lobster tasting menu was incredible - serving four different lobster dishes prepared in unique ways. The other tasting menu was largely exciting except for course two, which is the chefs vegetable/pasta dish. This unfortunately was quite bland and failed to have imagination. Honestly if the rest of the mood wasn't amazing, this rating would be much less. Drinks were great as well. I will note that there is a certain charm that comes about from the food runners. Specifically it seems like there is a family touch here. The runners take the time to present and it comes off as sophisticated with the French accents. Certainly a great spot to have a special night but it seems as if some details are dropped. Additionally would note that this restaurant is quite pricey even if you choose not to do the tasting menu.

Amazing restaurant, we spent just a day in Camden and the best part of it was the dinner at Natalie's. It was all amazing, the staff, the ambiance, all so clean and beautiful. Absolutely delicious items, very welcome and nice staff, I loved their approach to kids. For my kids was a first time experience of fine dining, and I love how Natalie's made it all so smooth and enjoyable, a 5 stars experience, for sure. Thank you!!!

Oh Natalie, you have out done yourself! This is an amazing dinner experience! Everything was well put together and paired perfectly. The food is delicious and the chefs tasting bites in between were superb! The sommelier had a great personality and knew exactly what to suggest! It is pricey our bill was 300$ but it was worth every dollar! See you soon Natalie :)

Wonderful dinner on patio with many nice surprises - cool towel to wipe hands before AND after dinner (lightly scented), champagne for our anniversary, scrumptious food, such as homemade sourdough bread with brown butter, seared halibut cooked perfectly and outstanding service (thank u Connor!).

Natalie's is an experience. Overall, it had its pluses and minuses. You feel like you are in a Yacht Club on some island. Diners go all out in attire and you have a sense that the regulars receive special attention. If you want upscale in Camden, you have found your place. The views from the outside deck are lovely as is the setting. The restaurant features lobster which is removed from its shell. I had the grilled lobster in a corn base. The lobster was good, albeit slightly tough and dry. The corn base tasted very fresh. My chardonnay was delicious and complemented the meal. While the salted butter was nice, the bread was only ok. Service was attentive, though they made me wait beyond my reservation time to be seated. Dining here is an investment, but if you are worried about that aspect, you probably should not be here in the first place.

I went to Natalie's for a wedding and everything was outstanding. I had never had food or cocktails as well crafted and delicious. The service was amazing and the place is truly beautiful and romantic. I can't wait to go back. All the guests were completely amazed and we're planning a trip back just so we can go experience the restaurant again.

The food, staff and atmosphere here is amazing (drinks too) I tried a Victoria's Secret per the bartenders suggestion and wow...it was so good. Some places you get a drink and there is so much alcohol in it you feel like you're taking a shot when you sip it. I've been to a few places in Camden and this is one of the best around. Everything is delicious and they take even simple things, like fries, and take it to another level. I can't pick one thing I had as my favorite because they all were good. So no matter what you decide to eat here just know it will be better than what you expect it will be like.

Amazing food and drinks. We started with the traditional oysters. I had the Atlantic Salmon, Oaxaca Old Fashion, and a glass of the Feudo Montoni.

Have returned twice since then. As the menu is small and hasn't changed since my first visit, the charm has worn off. I usually share the roast half chicken plus 2-3 sides. The meal was absolutely flavorful on my first visit but not so much the last visit in Dec 2025. Maybe it was a bad night? I thought the flavors fell flat and service was not as attentive. I was celebrating the holidays by treating friends to dinner and had to wave down someone twice to order rounds of drinks. I will give any establishment 20 stars if they are paying attention as to whether your glass is half empty. They took us in as long as we were able to be out by 7pm (it was around 5:30pm). The food came out super fast (almost too fast). We only ordered mains since we already had happy hour elsewhere. It was pretty hot and uncomfortable in the room, and wish they had better AC. It just made me want to eat and leave faster and made it hard to enjoy the meal. We were sat next to a portable unit but it wasn't doing a very good job and pointed away from us. I got the salmon over mushroom risotto. They asked how I wanted it cooked, which isn't usually something I get asked about salmon, so I said to cook how they normally would. It was probably about medium inside, still tender and not overcooked. The salmon had a strong grill taste but not enough seasoning and the fishy brown part was still attached underneath. The mushroom risotto and carrots were cooked and seasoned well. Overall, there wasn't anything major wrong with the meal, but I felt underwhelmed for the price tag ($36).

I do miss Cafe Miranda, the restaurant formerly in this location. After being brought to my table and offered water I was ignored for what seemed like a long time. But after that the service got better. My waiter once he arrived was fine and seemed to know the offerings pretty well. On the starters menu there was a Crudo, described as "local fresh catch. Chef's selection." I asked and it was scallop. Sounded good. It was, but I wasn't crazy about the texture of the raw scallops. (I've had crudo before but never scallop.) But I did like the heat intensity from the hot pepper rings, the sweetness from the mandarin orange slices, the pronounced flavor of roasted garlic, and the oily dressing with two kinds of sesame seeds. Biggest flaw: way too small for the price of $20. I had a cocktail from their small specialties section, "No Cap(irinha)": Cachaca (a Brazilian rum made from sugarcane), blueberry Cheong (a Korean style fruit syrup), and lime. It was refreshing, but very weak on alcohol, served in an inappropriate glass reminiscent of a cafeteria tumbler, and the ice was all wrong (too-small pieces that quickly diluted the already weak drink). Rather than take a chance on another disappointing cocktail my second drink was a glass of wine from the small but ample selection of by the glass. As for the other alcoholic beverages: the beer selection was very small, and the only hard cider was the undrinkable Woodchuck. My entree was also scallops. Described as "local scallops, mushroom, bacon risotto, parmesan." The scallops were tasty, heavily seared on one side and cooked medium on the other. The risotto was very good, without the heaviness of excess cream or cheese found in many risottos, and the rice grains were distinct and al dente, not mushy at all. The bacon may have been good in moderation, but this wasn't moderate. The large smoky bits totally overwhelmed the delicate scallops, making it seem like the bacon was the main event, the scallops merely an afterthought. But my biggest criticism is the portion: the 4 medium-large scallops were in no way adequate, and the price for what I got was insane. My rating is based not just on what I ate but what was on the menu and on other diners' plates. The menu was very small. Yes it is a tiny restaurant (just 9 tables and maybe 6 seats at the semicircular bar), but the former Cafe Miranda in the same location had a huge menu so it must be possible. I'm glad I didn't order the steak. I overheard the waiter tell another diner it was just the steak and a sauce and did they want to order sides (6 sides are offered at $10 apiece). That's ridiculous. An entree should be complete, with creative sides included as decided by the chef. For a steak, maybe some onion rings and grilled broccolini, for example? Add 2 sides at $10 apiece and your steak entree is now costing a whopping $60! And stealing some furtive glances when it arrived at my neighbor's table, it didn't look that special. I could be wrong though. I also saw a burger delivered. A 6 oz patty, with caramelized onion, black garlic mayo, brioche bun, and fries or salad. That's "or", not "and." 6 oz burger for a whopping $26! Um, no. No table bread! Grrr. This annoys me maybe more than it should. Sadly it's getting more common. Want bread? Order it for $6. No thanks. Going with the cafeteria theme (the aforementioned cheap-looking cocktail glasses) the silverware was provided wrapped in a single basic paper napkin, and the table was unadorned with tablecloth. Completely inappropriate for the level of restaurant I think they are striving for. Dessert menu was pretty small too. But I figured I couldn't go wrong with flourless chocolate cake. And there was nothing wrong with it, just unimpressive, the standard presentation of a slab of cake, a few raspberries and mint leaves, and an amorphous blob of whipped cream on top. Yawn. My water glass, after being filled regularly for the first 30 minutes (I was very thirsty), was left empty for the rest of the evening. Until after I had already paid and was about to leave, the water person came by and asked if I wanted water. Rather late, and a strange question. Why ask? Just pour!
