Great prices and large variety. I live relatively close so I love the option to pick up my order from will-call. I heard from a friend there wasn't a wait for pick up and that it'd be quick. I don't know if I came at the wrong time but I got there at 11am and had to leave at 12pm (bc I had to pick up my son from preschool) and come back the next day. I ordered some boxes online. Less than 10 minutes later I realized that they were only 125# and I usually buy 200# for shipping. So I immediately called the company as I am trying online to cancel the order. I got no where. They told me that it had already gone to shipping and they couldn't pull the order. Seriously, they can pull the order in a less than 10 minute time span. I was told on the phone that they wouldn't refund the shipping charges, I told them that I wanted to speak to a manager. The managers were all on the phone. (no surprise there) So I got back online and did a chat, trying to get them to stop the shipment. By this time it was about 15 minutes from placing my order. They too said they couldn't cancel the order. They did agree that if I refused the order when it arrived to refund me the full amount and the shipping charges. So, I made sure to snip the conversation so I'd have it in writing. I find it unbelievable that they wouldn't stop a shipment that they knew they were going to get returned. The shipping cost could have been saved by the company before spending money to ship out unwanted product. And when I check the tracking number the next day, the tag had been created but it is still sitting on their dock! I know because my company has a big 'ol FedEx trailer sitting at it for ground pick ups. And I know how FedEx works along with the tracking. I negotiated the contract. Just know, once you place an order you can't "unring that bell" with Paper Mart. And when they tell you it's too late to cancel an order because it is already shipped, well, just know that isn't the truth! Customer service is apparently not their strong suit. Much to my surprise they changed the shipping address back to their store in orange county and still have not received it! I was supposed to have received it Friday. What more can I say about them. I use them for a few reasons. One is good pricing and selection. But that is not the main reason. The biggest reason I keep coming back is their customer service. In the times when companies cut back on customer service they have maintained the personnel that they need to keep the customer happy. Our company spends thousands of dollars each month with them. If the service was bad we would take our business elsewhere. Believe me there are plenty of other companies out there wanting our business. Because of the service we receive there is no reason to go anywhere. Since we order so frequently, there are always going to be occasional problems. This is where they shine. They always get the issues fixed for us super fast and to our satisfaction. We couldn't ask for anything else. I especially want to thank one person over there who help us out so much. Norma J. has been a life saver and that is probably an understatement. She comes thru time and time again and fixes any issues that comes up. We came across Paper Mart online a few weekends ago when we were searching for favor boxes that would fit our needs. They have such a wide variety of boxes, bags, containers, party supplies, etc. to choose from it may seem a little bit overwhelming at first but it's great just to browse and you can get some pretty good ideas from just looking around. We found some really nice ivory colored favor boxes with a tab top closure for our little one's birthday party. Prices were reasonable and shipping costs were standard. Our package arrived in about a week and we were pretty impressed that the favor boxes were thick and sturdy. All of the candy and small trinkets fit and not once did the favor boxes lose its structure. After they were put together it looked really nice on the display table. Their Will Call Customer Service is AWFUL. I dread going to this warehouse to pick stuff up when the older fat guy is working at the dock. You have to give yourself at least a 30 minute wait time to get your items once you're at the dock (Don't forget to bring a book!). However, this only happens when the older overweight man is there. He moves in slow motion and appears to be limping. Forget about first come, first served. He helps whoever he wants to. Let me tell you that when any other guy is working the dock, everybody gets helped within 10-15 minutes and they offer to help you load stuff to your car. This old man has no respect for people's time and if he's disabled he shouldn't be working at a warehouse. Please put someone who's younger and full of stamina to work the dock. read more

We were never as concerned about price as we are about unique and unusual items so we can craft them into a salable product. For example, my wife found metallic mesh fabric in a large variety of colors that she uses to make seasonal wreaths for sale. Combined with a Dollar Store frame they are working out fantastic! Pick up at the warehouse is great since we just live a few miles away. We were given a time online for pickup. Went around to Will Call where workers were chugging around on electric fork lifts and delivering the goods. I understand the concerns about picking up at the loading dock doors because of traffic or small orders, but I'm sure it was to localize everything at one point. I AM quite amazed and pleased, though, that a representative from the company monitors here and they have made changes based on reviews and customer comments and concerns. Imagine my dismay when I noticed a small white line running down the middle of my silver paper. I called Paper Mart up and thought to myself "Now how difficult will this be?" Was I wrong! Their sweet customer service lady -Mary Jones said, "why don't you take a picture of it and send it to me?" And then she said the words you NEVER hear ...,"How can we make this right?" One star is giving Papermart too much credit. I recently placed my first order with Papermart for items that I needed for an event. I needed two hundred individual cupcake boxes, 200 inserts to match the boxes, and I also found the satin butterfly ribbons and fell in love! I expedited the shipping to make sure it got to me in time and thought everything was GREAT when it got to me on time.. Unfortunately, while i was setting up the items I came to realize that 7 bows, and 10 inserts were missing from the items!!!! I was then forced to run around the city to look for the items and spent an arm and a leg on transportation and for the items, as I realized that NYC doesn't have many suppliers that carried these items. I was infuriated but thought that when I called, that they would understand the total NEGLIGENCE that was preformed on their part and would somehow compensate me for such an issue. When I called, I was totally brushed me off and did not apologize once! They finally called me back two days later to inform me that they can offere me $3 for the missing items and 10% off my next purchase! (As if I would ever order from them again!) They wouldn't credit me partial shipping cost or anything! I was totally disappointed with Papermart as I am friends with two bakery owners that use Papermart often, and love them. Needless to say, they nor I will use Papermart ever again. Edit: After posting this review I called Paper Mart back and they immediately solved the problem. Thank you! I liked Paper Mart until I had an issue with a shipment that they would not help resolve. The issue was they sent me the wrong item, so I assumed it would be an easy fix. Oh was I wrong. I order 11 x 14" cardboard on November 28th (ish). When it arrived on December 1st I realized they had accidentally shipped 11 x 17" cardboard. No big deal, I figured they would fix it. I called customer support who said they were happy to send me a replacement asap. No need to send the other one back. A week passed and I didn't hear anything so I started getting worried because this holiday season is crazy and I needed the cardboard! I checked my voicemail and realized someone had left me a message saying they were out of stock and if I wanted a refund I would have to send the original cardboard back. Uh oh, I didn't have it anymore because when we originally solved the problem a week earlier I was told I did not need to send it back!!! I pointed out that I didn't have it anymore and they said I would have to pay (even though I did not want it in the first place). They asked me why I was being unfair. What!? Paper Mart promised to call back by the end of the business day to help solve the problem, no surprise, they did not. I wish they had handled this differently:/ Sad to say I'll choose another source for paper. Seems like the only way to solve this is to do a charge back.... wish it weren't so. read more

We are a small business recent startup, and our success hinges largely upon the distribution of a sampling of our products in a giveaway gift set for Christmas. Paper Mart seemed perfect to supply us with the items needed for the packaging, so off we went with a huge order. Six days later we had a FedEx "delivery today" notice, but nothing arrived. Long chats with FedEx led to one with Paper Mart, and we were stunned to learn that a mailing label had been created but no actual delivery was anywhere in sight. Initially Paper Mart said this was a "drop shipment" from God knows where, and they were clueless regarding when or if that would happen. Shortly thereafter they admitted that they were also clueless regarding exactly where our order was or if it even existed. These guys should be avoided like the plague. read more
