When I tell you this is a FIVE STAR review... I MEAN IT!! Papaya is AMAZING! Everything we've tried, so far, is SOOO GOOD! Rincon, GA is a better place having this restaurant in town! If you're not sure, then get sure, and try it out, you will be so glad you did!!

I arrived a minute before they opened. The dining area was extremely clean, the food tasted wonderful and the service was top notch even though I was early. I will be coming back to try more dishes very soon!

Coconut shrimp: not enough sauce and too much breading, although the breading was delicious.

The service was a little odd as each appetizer and entree came out at different times, one dish at a time and one appetizer after the entrees were all delivered. But the flavors were incredible and the service was friendly. Tom Kha Gai soup was excellent with a great coconut broth and the cup at $5.95 is huge, like a large cereal bowl. Spring rolls were great too and we loved the steamed Shrimp Rolls in a lemon teriyaki sauce. Two of us ordered the Nam Tok Beef Salad and it was amazing. My first time ordering this dish. It's similar to Laab/Larb but with beef instead of chicken. It was a tender flank steak, tossed with lettuce, cucumber, green onions and chilis. Choose your heat level, I went with spicy, just a step below the Thai spicy and it was just enough to make my nose run. You can also get it with zero spice, but that combo of hot beef, crisp cold vegetables, spicy, sweet, sour, crunchy and chewy. The pad see ew was also excellent and they bring you a few chocolates at the end of the meal. With all of the apps we were too full for dessert.

It is a quaint little spot and a great find. The service was great - the ladies working there were awesome - very friendly and attentive, and wow were they fast! It definitely gives local, family owned vibe which is awesome. The inside is open with a decent amount of seating for dinning in. Nothing overly fancy but it was inviting and comfy. The menu has a really good variety of options from appetizers, to rice, noodles, curry, stir-fry and even pho! We ordered Thai Iced Teas which were delicious - always love watching the tea and milk mix together. For our meals, we got Red Curry Chicken and Chicken Pad Thai. The portions were HUGE. Literally, the red curry was in a giant bowl, filled to the brim and the pad Thai was heaping. The food came out so fast and was nice and hot. Flavors were excellent! Highly recommend Sawaddee Ka if you are in the area and looking for a flavorful and generously sized meal, and a friendly family vibe!

Even folks traveling solo! This is indeed authentic Thai food! I ordered the crispy vegetable rolls, which were utterly delicious and satisfying to the palette! The place itself is very cozy and even offers outdoor and indoor seating. Not sure if the air conditioning was broken because this place had a lot of fans roaming. I got the drunken noodles as they are my go to dish for Thai food. A bit oilier than what I would usually eat, but it was very delicious considering I have not had Asian food and a hot minute. A bit spicy as I requested. My boyfriend had the pad kra pao, wanted to compare the restaurant and my cooking, although he says my cooking was good. He finished his dish. We both sure that chicken wings, which were dry and OK.

The restaurant is beautifully decorated. It has a great atmosphere and would be a nice date night dining place. They have a bar with unique drinks and yummy looking desserts in a glass case. Our server is the owner/chef's daughter and she told us lots of information on the restaurant and answered all our questions regarding the menu and drinks. My friend had the Papaya Fried Rice. The dinner bowl was the size of a serving bowl! My friend said it was very good. I had the Thai Red Curry with tofu. The lightly fried tofu had crispy edges and was a perfect fit with the red curry. The dish had a variety of veggies and the curry had just enough zing without making my eyes water. It was so delicious! We found the prices to be extremely reasonable and our leftovers were a full meal for the next day. Don't skip this place! The service, ambience and food were top notch. I've been back 3 times in the past 6 weeks and it's now my top spot for lunch and dinner.

I only hope they still get the reviews because I need to share about the specialness of this family owned restaurant. When hubs and I were stationed in Beaufort, it was our special date spot. To the extent the owner always recognized us from my special man's call ahead to arrange special flowers at the table, etc, which they always accommodated. So cozy and personal and we just adored the food and reasonable prices. My favorite was the Chilean sea bass with Sam rod sauce- which I must tell you has set the bar with every Thai restaurant we've eaten at ever-and won. We moved home to Missouri and set a mission to find a Thai place that met the same bar for taste, price, quality, service, and yes-customer love. We have yet to find it. Each visit back to Beaufort has a visit to Thai Indeed at the top of the list of things to do. My heart breaks I can't include that anymore. Beaufort, you lost with the Chocolate Tree and you've lost again with Thai Indeed. So sad. Seriously, planned trips back there just so we could go to this restaurant!

They have a very nice selection wine, beer and cocktails as well, and non alcoholic drinks including the famous Thai iced tea. At a perfect level of sweetness and great taste, easy to make, but often not done right. Here - perfect! We indulged in a variety of appetizers to share, the garden rolls (rice paper) which were ultra delicious, to the golden tofu (also gluten free) with an amazing taste, to satay which was perfectly cooked and had an incredible 'flavor bomb' taste, and an additional cucumber salad which tasted like it does straight back in Thailand. Amazing to hear our group talk about food and taste - a great way to start a meal with. For entrees we had the pad Thai, the drunken noodles, the cashew chicken and a panang curry. All amazingly tasty, with extremely different flavors. The portions were more than generous l, easy to take away a little food for the next day. Tip: try a side of the garlic fried rice. Amazing! And for dessert the option of sticky rice with mango is something you should try. Last, the staff was amazing throughout the evening. Happy to be there. Always present to check if we needed anything else. A place to talk about and for sure come back to when we visit the area again. In a town that can and is seasonally very touristy this is a GEM with great people, passion for Thai food and fantastic ambience next to incredible food!
