I've always wanted to try a revolving sushi bar, so when I found out there was one in Pooler, I immediately booked a spot! This was such a fun and unique experience. Since I went solo, I just sat down and started grabbing dishes off the conveyor belt--and loved every second of it. They had a great variety, from sushi rolls to sashimi, with multiple plates of each constantly coming around. I didn't even bother ordering off the menu because I was having too much fun exploring what was on the belt! If you have kids, they're going to love the little robot server and the sushi train--it's such a playful touch that adds to the experience. Highly recommend for a fun meal out! Each plate on the conveyor belt is five dollars

Bring your big pants ! Your eyes are your stomach here. I was taking one of everything as it passed by, $5 a plate you can't go wrong and try new things. The salmon was my favorite - buttery and melted in your mouth. There was a filet mignon roll that was different and delicious. The friend rolls I would pass because it got a bit soggy, but you can order anything on the menu and it will come by train or robot to your seat. This is a definite try if only for the experience of the revolving sushi bar

So cool, bright and airy place. Love the decor and how you can just get right to eating. Just grab right from the rotating bar of sushi and if you like the small portion sz then use the electronic menu to order more that will be delivered on a SUSHI TRAIN for larger portions. The sushi was ok, I had fresher but it was decent and a new experience. The cost is per plate off the rotating bar, unless you order from the menu which prices are stated. Not much dessert options but overall a cool experience and would do it again.

Rarely have I been so impressed with the taste and flavor of everything I sampled at any given place. Yes, Nara is just that good. To begin, the atmosphere has a futuristic diner vibe, nothing fancy by way of ambiance; but, thoroughly modern by way of service. Having been immediately seated by a cordial hostess, who took our drink order at that point, it didn't take us long to start making our selections from the conveyor belt as it displayed a multitude of sushi and salad dishes. Our hostess explained that numerous other options were available, using the touch pad to order. We each selected a different Raman bowl, and waited for the constantly circling train to deliver our meals; and, before any time had passed at all, the train made it's stop with one bowl of, what would prove to be a mouth watering, positively succulent, bowl of steaming soup, packed with Raman, pork, vegetables and a slice of hard boiled egg. But, there were three of us; and, this was one bowl. Looking away from the train, our hostess was making her way back to our table, accompanied by a robot, bearing the remainder of our meals. Now, I could take all day praising the many varieties of sushi I sampled from the conveyor. Suffice it to say that I tried them all, each plate costing a flat five dollars, with varying qauntities (the three us shared each plate) and, when I tell you that all of them were far above my expectations, that's an understatement. Soy sauce and Wasabi were also readily available, but unnessary, from the time we were seated. Each dish stood on its own, without having to add to anything to the flavor. Having to force myself from continuing to eat beyond being satisfied, it's accurate to say that all three of us, my daughter, her boyfriend, and I, all agreed the quantity we consumed was indeed adequately filling; although that did little to quench our interest in eating more. I repeat, it was just that good. At just over sixty dollars for the three of us, I couldn't think of a better value, elsewhere.

A great little sushi restaurant with a twist on eating sushi. The conveyor belt concept is new to the states but not to Japan. It is a novel idea and works well. The sushi selection was pretty good. An inexpensive dinner out for two. You can choose to pull from the conveyor or order from the touch screen menu. Service was excellent and the place was adorable.

I am seated in the booth within 2 feet of the tablet on the table.

Cool idea, very trendy, sushi is tasty, service is mostly very good (except for one server who would only give eye contact and talk to one person at the table --AND NO ONE ELSE), and orders come quickly. It has a good idea with tablet computers on the tables for ordering, but the tablet is stationary and awkwardly situated to make it difficult for everyone to see and the descriptions are so small type that it is impossible to be read easily unless you are 1 foot from the screen.

The setup is so unique! Sushi comes around on a revolving belt, plus they have robots and a little train that delivers food right to your table. The food is fresh and tasty, and the whole atmosphere makes it extra fun. Definitely a must-try if you're looking for something different and delicious in Pooler!

Lower are constantly rotating regular Sushi items. The trains above carry your ordered hot preparations to your table!

As a Sushi veteran(first experience Chicago 1985) this was an exciting new twist on a familiar subject. In the old days, I sat at the Sushi Chefs table and conversed with the master chef as he prepared each item carefully and knowledgeably. (That's where I learned that the best chefs throw the first piece of octopus tentacle for the day down hard on the counter...to watch if it flinches! If it twitches a bit, it's fresh. Flash forward to modern day. At Nara, no visible chef area, the foods not provided on the rotating run of the more common items, come from behind a closed kitchen. Don't let you be put off by that though, the food items I tasted (wide variety) were all very well executed and delicious. Food prep and delivery are mechanical, and the only non-robotic server you'll see is the one that seats you, serves your beverages, and counts your plates to deliver your bill. Regular carrousel items average $6-7;per plate, and hot items/special items are more. 4 people, one bottle of sake, a couple of hot items and the bill was $70-80. Amusing, unique and representative food for the genre. But give me someone to talk to!

Looks like somebody tried to escape the conveyor belt

Lots of fun to watch the sushi go by on conveyor. Quality food and service excellent.

We walked halfway in and nothing and my husband had to walk directly to a waitress to ask if we seat ourselves. She pointed at the table and grabbed who would be our server. I guess we interrupted her conversation. Our server on the other hand was sweet, however, I had a hard time hearing what she was saying because her voice was so low. We did not have any qualms about our server. She was good. A lot of servers were openly on their phones, specifically the sushi chefs behind the counter. They would stare off into the distance or be on their phones until summoned to make a nigiri. It wasn't necessarily slow, there were quite a few patrons there. When we left there was a young girl at the enterance clearing off a seating chart and not a single person thanked us as we were exiting. Obviously you don't have to be Japanese to run a Japanese restaurant, but at least do the bare minimum of service that is uniquely Japanese. AMBIANCE 2/5: the set up and decorations felt all over the place, nothing was a cohesive design. It's as if they just went to Ross and found anything Asian inspired (not specifically Japanese) and purchased it. FOOD 3/5: it wasn't anything to write home about. I did enjoy the scallop nigiri but it was $6.50 for 2 pc. Presentation of nigiri was wild too, they put 2 nigiri on a 12 in platter lol it's as if they ran out of small plates? The grilled squid was what got our attention to come here and it was ok. It was grilled fine, just the way i like it. I did like that hint of ume or shiso they sprinkled in there but the dish also came at the end, after I've already eaten my entre. It was Iisted as a hot appetizer but came after the entre, so I ate it without any rice. The lava roll was very good and there was an abundance of imitation crab meat on top. The "angry dragon" roll was interesting because they used pink tofu skin, which i thought was unique. Flavorwise, not as spicy as the name insinuates. I did appreciate the water tasted smooth and not like faucet water. COST 2/5: obviously, prices are high everywhere now and on top of that this is a sushi restaurant. We paid $80 something inc tip for miso soup, 3 rolls and 1 grilled squid. I definitely feel it is a little pricey and I'm not willing to pay $40/person when the food is mid and service is subpar. Overall, I'd give this place a 2/5. There were a couple of enjoyable food items, but the lack of basic hospitality, scattered ambiance, awkward timing of dishes, and higher price point made the experience feel underwhelming. For about $40 per person, I expected more than mid-tier food and subpar service.

I went with beef yakiudon and Vietnamese egg rolls. I did takeout and brought it back to my hotel. WOW it was done so quickly I mean in. Just 3 or 4 minutes. The aroma in the car was magical, almost distracting. The noodles were perfect! So chewy and the combination of veggies in there was fabulous. It seemed like they skimped on the beef but there was plenty in there. It was a bit mild in flavor but truly enjoyable. The spring rolls were fabulous and really packed with pork and shrimp filling. Great job ladies! Thanks for a wonderful dinner.

My first time there I remember the workers were asking the take next to us where their missing family member was and how their kids were . This isn't just something they're doing for tips or anything , it seems they genuinely treat everyone here like family . Let's talk about the food , I always ordered the Beef Pho noodle soup , add shrimp , and pork dumplings. Nothing of this meal ever disappointed me . Everything is delicious and me and my wife can never get enough of this place . Now I'm gonna speak from my personal experience here , I always ordered the same thing every time , so maybe it's just my specific meal but it is ALWAYS so fast . By the time I get done ordering at the cashier my drinks and my food arrive at my table in MINUTES. On multiple occasions I've had the pho and sides arrive right after me sitting down at the table . And I'm not just saying that for exaggeration, and I'm hoping this is everyone's experience, but it is such a fast service for food . Whenever I'm back in the area I will always be heading for Umami .
