This was our first time visiting PJ Thai and this will now be our go-to Thai restaurant in Savannah. We started out with the basil fresh rolls, which were nice and refreshing. I'm not a huge peanut sauce guy, but my wife is and she loved the sauce they came with. We also got the PJ wings, which were PHENOMENAL. Super crispy, very hot and juicy, and full of flavor. I would come here for lunch just to have those again. The cocktails were delicious--we tried the Sun Rise and Thai Fresh Ginger. My favorite dish of the night was my pad see ew. One of our friends got the drunken noodles, which was also great. This was easily one of the best pad see ew dishes I've had. Service was great; food was great; drinks were awesome. Visiting Savannah, Georgia for the first time and at this point, I'm craving Asian food. This place is located off the corner of a busy street and by one of the 22 squares. The place itself is very cozy and even offers outdoor and indoor seating. Not sure if the air conditioning was broken because this place had a lot of fans roaming. I got the drunken noodles as they are my go to dish for Thai food. A bit oilier than what I would usually eat, but it was very delicious considering I have not had Asian food and a hot minute. A bit spicy as I requested. My boyfriend had the pad kra pao, wanted to compare the restaurant and my cooking, although he says my cooking was good. He finished his dish. I got the pad Thai - level 4 spice - perfectly spicy and tangy flavor how I like my pad Thai. It was some of the best I've had in a long time! The drunken noodles were great too! Good flavor, cooked perfectly, nice spice, and large portions. We got the mango sticky rice to go and that was also amazing! Mango was fresh and sweet, coconut milk was creamy and sweet. It smelled so good we canceled our dinner reservations at The Commons. So glad we did!! THE FOOD WAS AMAZING AND SO WAS THE SERVICE!! Since a rain storm was brewing we ordered food to go. The young lady who took our order was very friendly. We ordered Bangkok chicken (incredibly flavorful and delicious), steamed dumplings, basil fried rice with chicken (you have to try this ...so good!) and spicy edamame. The portions are so large, we have enough for lunch tomorrow or dinner. The inside was charming, clean, but simple. They put their emphasis on the food. It's definitely a hidden gem!!! Nothing mind-blowing, the pad thai and thai fried rice was fine but not that flavorful. the papaya salad was extremely spicy even though I ordered a level 1 spice out of 5. The mango sticky rice was good, however $10 for the small amount of sticky rice is insane. $8 for a side of dry grilled chicken, I would not recommend. Overall, pricey and mediocre food. read more

Everything was great. Really salty though, and the style seems not exactly 100 percent authentic Thai. Mixed in with Laos culture/flavor. Of the dishes, we wanted to split a soup and was told it was good for 2-3 people, when we got the tum yum, it was in a bowl sized for one person... other Thai restaurants give bigger portions for the same price, please consider upgrading the size of your soup. The basil pork belly tastes great, just where are the meats? Hardly see anything! For what the price of the dish, can't gyp on the meats! Probably won't be back, but if you really want to eat somewhere quiet and small this is nice to try. read more

We enjoy the Roti appetizer, a flat bread with peanut sauce as well as the sweet basil fresh rolls to share. Larb Gai was requested as hot, and it was hot and delicious. The curries are good. Beer on tap. The flavors are the bright flavors expected and the heat level is adjustable. Probably not good for crowds, but there is some outdoor seating available that might suitably accommodate a party of 8 as well as one table inside that may do the same. 9-18-24 12:30pm Came to Savannah to go to Pottery Barn down the street. It was lunchtime and I was starving so I walked over to someplace to eat and then I saw this place on the corner. It was a little warm out so I chose to eat inside. The waitress came over and immediately brought over a glass of ice water and the menu. I looked at the best selling items from previous Yelp reviews but tried something new instead Pad Pak Ruam. It was a mixture of vegetables but it sold me when I read Bok Choy. The sauce was very flavorful and liked that the fresh steamed white rice was in a separate bowl so that I could add to the dish as needed. Very healthy portion and believe me it filled me up for the day. Cute small restaurant I liked it because it was peaceful and serene. I've been meaning to try PJ's for awhile because I always hear good things. We got a seat right away and the service was amazing. My husband got the Pad Thai and I got the Drunken Noodle. I asked for mine to be extra spicy. Both dishes were really good but I actually ended up loving my husband's Pad Thai the most. Their peanut sauce is incredible! This cute little spot is full of flavor! Located on the corner of Abercorn & Ogelthorpe. Very easy to overlook if you're not paying attention. On this day I ordered lunch for myself and 3 coworkers so I was able to try a few different options. Their Tom Kah soup is perfection, just the right amount of acidity to balance out the sweetness. The pad thai was slightly dry but with the addition of shrimp sauce it helped out majorly. The fried tofu was perfectly cooked but could have used a little salt. I was also able to try the bangkok chicken and it was definitely my favorite. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned. I wish it came with some spice but overall a great dish. Because this was a lunch order, I ordered ahead as soon as they opened and my food was ready when I arrived 20 minutes later.
