Hot sauce

If you're looking for amazing Thai cuisine, Ruan Thai is a must try. The ambiance was very nice, great tunes were being played in the background, beautiful restaurant with amazing, thoughtful service. Shawn was our server, he made sure our dining experience was very enjoyable. We tried the sampler appetizer plate with satay chicken, chicken spring rolls, wontons... it was very tasty, crispy and fresh. The sauces shared varied from sweet to spicy, and paired perfectly with the appetizers. For dinner I had the pad Thai noodles with chicken, and my friend ordered the drunken noodles with chicken. We both enjoyed our noodle dishes, the vegetables were crisp, herbs aromatic, all the flavors were talking to us, so much, we couldn't help but talk about our experience through flavor country. Everything was perfect. I can't forget to rave about their Thai tea, 10/10, the tea to milk ratio was perfect. I highly recommend Ryan Thai. Great location! Warm hospitality! Delicious cuisine! Great ambiance!

I only stopped in to get a thai tea. It was delicious. I sat at the bar. The service seemed good. The place was pretty empty when I went.

So I was wandering about and hungry and for no apparent reason I landed here. The decor is very nice as were the spring rolls that come with you lunch. That wraps up the good. I had Cashew Chicken hot, that lacked any heat at all and is was also completely absent flavor. The service was almost non-existent. I would think if I delivered a plate of "hot" I would check on that persons water. Although the food was lacking heat, Savanna is not and I was clearly two glasses of water in deficit. Then, as a licker, my bill was a very reasonable $10.70, I gave the guy a twenty and got $9.00 back. Yes, only thirty cents but that is not the point, it was my money to decide to leave as a top or not, not the servers choice.

Ruan is a true mom and pop spot. In the many times I've come in for food there has not been one instance where I have not encountered the owner. She makes it a point to know her regulars and the sauces they like with their meals. If you're extra special she'll even have the kitchen make you certain items that are no longer on the menu. The service is always there and the food has never been less than amazing. I've recommended Ruan to several friends and I have not had a negative report back. They're just that good. Be mindful that although they are quick the restaurant is not huge so there can be a wait during lunch time and the dinner rush. Ruan is located on broughton street across from the on time fashion shop. I love that they have a chalkboard outside that shows the daily specials and a menu for those passing by to view. I've eaten my way through most of their menu but my top 3 favorites are the pad thai with no peanuts(personal preference) the shrimp and eggplant and any of the curries. Always medium spice. Their tofu is flavorful and the shrimp is perfectly cooked. Ruan is always a 10/10.

Chicken Larb

Ruan Thai had an inviting atmosphere and attentive service however it lacked authenticity. The staff made us feel welcomed and taken care of throughout our visit. Our sever was very attentive and made a couple of suggestions for my mom. She went with the fried fish dinner and she loved it. I ordered the Chicken Larb and was highly disappointed. The flavors were milder and less bold from the authenticity I was seeking. On the positive side, if you're looking for a place to introduce someone to Thai cuisine who might not be accustomed to bold flavors, this restaurant could be a good choice. The menu includes familiar dishes, and the less intense flavors might appeal to a wider audience.

Thai ginger duck

Fantastic food I had the ginger duck and it was top notch My beautiful date had the shrimp Thai fried rice and was impressed

Food was good but wouldn't say it was awesome. So many core ingredients missing in Tom yum soup which should be a spam dunk for any Thai restaurant. Service is excellent. Rating is closer to a 3.5. Service - 4/5 Food - 3/5 Ambience - 3/5

I came here for dinner with a friend Saturday evening around 6pm and were seated immediately. (Had to park several blocks away at the State St garage.) I was greeted by nice and attentive staff. I ordered the jasmine tea (had to use sugar because they don't offer honey, which is a bit strange), and the red curry (Hot). While the curry was good, it didn't have any spice at all. (My friend agreed with her hot-spiced pad Thai.) next time, I'll try the extra hot in hopes that it's at least a little spicy.

I'm very pleased. I ordered dinner from this location near my hotel and it was simply delicious and amazing. The food was hot when it arrived. The spring rolls were delicious and crispy. The chocolate cake was not frozen and was deliciously moist. I'm a fan. I'd definitely visit to dine in.

Ruan has a very good chef. They know how to make their food tasty. The coconut soups so good. I would love to try all the soups.

Nothing tasted fresh. If you order something fried, it should be hot to the touch. I felt sick immediately after ordering.

Great service and location. My dinner was ok, not a lot of flavor other than hot. Reasonable pricing, it's ok.

They have top-notch customer service from the most kind-hearted staff and the most welcoming and safe spaces to enjoy their food, drinks, and to socialize with friends or strangers. Check out the Taproom and one of there living room vibe spaces. Grab a burger from Crispi. Slide open a window and walk out onto one of the balcony areas. My favorites are their slushes! What grown up kids doesn't like a slushie + alcohol? Two Tides regularly host street parties with vendors and a DJ. I always make sure to be a Slush Fest. I'm pretty sure throwing amazing gatherings and serving drinks is part of their brand commitment. That might be a stretch but community certainly at the heart of this company and it is noticeable! Give them a visit. Order a flight of their brews. Take some cans home. You won't regret it!!!

It's located on top of The Alida hotel (also one of my fave boutique hotels) in the historic River Street district. I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!
