Not sure why they're so cheap or why they can't do the basics right. I ordered the super express bowl, and they over cooked my steak, when I asked for medium well. It was hard to chew the meat. They gave me 3 shrimps. I replaced my rice with extra veggies. I got three broccoli, and a bowl full of zucchini. I thought I'd get more broccoli, but I guess they ran out. The chicken was slightly the only thing they got right. This is probably the last time I order from here. read more

I've eaten here, a dozen times, and I think I've only had one, maybe two disappointing experiences, but overall, they are very good.

The place is very clean with lots of seating. There are a lot of menu choices from bowls to entrees to appetizers and sushi choices. My hubby had the super bowl with steak and shrimp. It was very very bland and he kept having to add salt, pepper and sauces. I had the steak and chicken hibachi plate. Too much rice and, yes, mine was a bit bland, too. Our son got the pork ramen bowl and really enjoyed it. A lot of food. The sushi rolls were the Hanami roll and the fantasy roll. They were yummy, but nothing memorable. Mine actually fell apart. All in all, the experience was good, the food worked after we seasoned it better. It was good, but it's not a place I will purposely seek out. read more

Typically bad customer service. They have a robust menu, but the cooks are completely unwilling to deviate from it in the least. Let me explain: They have beef, chicken, or shrimp bowls, and then a list of combo items such as stir fries with rice. Since I'm not a meat eater, and tofu was one of the combo items available, I asked if I could have a bowl with tofu instead of chicken or pork. The cooks were adamant that they would not make a tofu bowl even if I paid extra for it. And it wasn't like they were busy when I asked! I understand that restaurants can't be expected to accommodate every conceivable dietary need, but I wasn't asking for anything extraordinary -- and veganism is fairly mainstream these days. read more

Writing my review after my second visit. We don't make the trip to Rincon very often but I'll have to remember this gem if I should be that way. The first time I went, I got their shrimp tempura ramen, and it really hit the spot! Perfect hangover cure. I love that the soup had corn in it too. I brought my husband the second time we went, and we went for the sushi this time around. I got the imitation krab salad as an appetizer and it was just spicy enough for me. The crunch on it was great. My husband got the gyoza for an app and those were good as well, especially the sauce. We each got two rolls a piece and we're both pleased with their flavor. I don't know if they meant to, but when we got our tray, we noticed after digging in that we had gotten an extra roll. We check the receipt and sure enough it wasn't on there. No complaining here. For desert we got the fried cheesecake. I told my husband initially that he could have it all because I was stuffed. But as soon as I had a bite, I realized I could make room for my half! Amazing. Delicious!! My husband and I got take out from here. He got the Spicy Miso Ramen and I got the Hibachi Steak Yokisoba. I tried both of course and good golly, I was surprised. I really wasn't sure what to expect as this place is in a little strip mall with Publix but seriously, don't let that scare you off. The Spicy Miso Ramen was delicious, definitely lived up to it's name and had a kick to it. I only tried the broth and noodles of this dish but could have easily devoured the whole thing! The Hibachi Steak Yokisoba was quite wonderful. The Steak was marinated perfectly and cooked perfectly as well. Of course they gave a side of yum yum sauce which just added to the wonderfulness of the dish. The noodles and veggies were so so so good. Quick food prep, reasonable prices, and clean interior with plenty of seating. My favorite dish is the Hibachi Tofu with Vegetables special, which usually includes zucchini, broccoli, and other seasonal veggies. I would love to see a tofu option for the Express Bowls!
