It had been an exceptionally challenging day, and I was completely fixated on getting a comforting, tasty meal to ease the stress. Unfortunately, the online system informed me it was too late to order. Completely understanding the rules but wanting to take a chance, I called the Puyallup location directly. I wish I had caught the name of the gentleman who answered. He was incredibly accommodating, kind, and pleasant. Without hesitation, he told me, "Don't worry, I'll take your order now," and assured me it would be ready before closing. He was absolutely right. We finally made it in a few weeks ago, and now I understand why they are always so busy. The food and service are absolutely top-notch! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. Honestly, we were almost shocked that this place is in Tacoma and not Beverly Hills! It has such a classy feel while still being warm and down-to-earth. We had a wonderful table outside on the patio, and you could catch the sweet aromas drifting out from the kitchen. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and the atmosphere had such a cozy, welcoming feel, almost like being invited to a friend's home. Bradley greeted us right away, and I knew I wanted to start with a nice Cabernet. He offered some wonderful suggestions and helped make the experience even better. We started with the Polpo (octopus), and it was fantastic! For our entrees, I ordered the Agnolotti (pear, Gorgonzola and pecan-filled pasta with maple and sage brown butter). Just reading the description on the menu had me sold, and it absolutely did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Capesante. I didn't get to try it, but judging by the fact that he cleaned his entire plate, I'm pretty sure it was amazing! And then there's Bradley. He was attentive, funny, knowledgeable, and an absolute joy to have as our server. He really added to the entire experience. Between the incredible food, beautiful atmosphere, and outstanding service, this restaurant is definitely worth the visit. We finally understand what all the buzz is about, and I can't wait to go back!
