Also the location of the place of course being right near downtown and it being such a beautiful area! The wings looked and smelled great but weren't for me so I have no review on them but the kid who ate them literally ate to the bone so I'm guessing they were 10/10. Now here's the bum part of this review. I also ordered another set of wings, boneless with bbq sauce. And the bbq sauce was near nonexistent. See pics. My son actually thought there was no sauce til we saw it hiding under one nugget (let's face it, boneless wings are just nuggets and don't deserve to be called wings). The wings looked good and he ate them but luckily we bbq sauce we could add to them. Kind of ironic too because they open up all the pizza and dessert boxes for you at pickup to show you your order is right but they didn't with the wings. So just letting you guys know to check your wings before you walk out! All in all I will order from them again, for sure. The sauce is good and I am not even a marinara fan but they do it right here, pepperoni which I hate to love is perfect, the cheese is heavy and gooey. I just think it needs to be tossed on a large to get the best quality. Even the wings we will order again. They seem to have great bundle deals so I would check out that tab before just ordering straight off the menu. In a panic, I called Frankie's Pizza, worried they were about to close. I felt terrible explaining my situation to the staff, a last-minute, large order with no notice. I was ready for a frustrated sigh, but instead, I was met with immediate, kind understanding. I paid over the phone and raced over. They had my entire order ready to go the moment I walked through the door. Phenomenal service, as always. But the moment that TRULY melted my heart happened when I pulled up to the house and checked the pizzas. Tucked into one of the boxes, right next to the pizza saver, was a handwritten note: "You're a great mom, even if no one acknowledges it. :)" I was in tears. Seriously, tears. That small, kind, human gesture cost them absolutely nothing but instantly made my entire stressful work week worth it. It made my heart absolutely smile. Looking at the bottom of the pizza it was barely a tan color. The veggies were pretty much raw, or very al dente. A little more time in the oven and we would have been OK. The sign on the door said that they were open until 9:00 PM so we figured we'd be met with the new, new. You know, sorry folks, we are closing in a half hour so we're only doing carryout orders but that was absolutely not the case! We were welcomed in a very warm fashion. There were even two more parties that came in after us and we were pleasantly surprised at how gracious the hosts were to everyone. Even when they knew that they would be open a bit later than closing. The waitress was very animated and took very good care of everyone with a great positive attitude and a friendly demeanor. She kept our drinks refilled and was very attentive to everyone in the restaurant. We ordered our food and were happy to find out that our granddaughter would be eating for free. Kids eat free on Mondays with the purchase of an adult entree. They even have a really cool option where kids can build their own pizza. It's called the pie up pizza. They brought our granddaughter a tray with the pizza dough, a bowl of sauce and her toppings on the side. She then was able to spread the sauce and add the toppings just the way she wanted. When she was ready, they took the pizza in back and cooked it for her. My wife and I both agreed that the flavor of our pizza was reminiscent of the old Pizza & Pipes restaurant that we grew up visiting and that nostalgia for us was priceless. We shared a chop salad, and everything was delicious. Next time we go out for pizza, I'm sure we are headed back to Trackside! This place has more value than most establishments in this day and age.
