We'd heard good things about this place and are happy it lived up to those expectations! We were able to be sat outside on the patio right away despite it being a busy weekend. The server was a little slow to greet us, but once she did the service was great! We tried wings with the Garlic Herb & Parmesan Dry Rub and they were amazing! They were cooked really well and were super flavorful. We got James' Favorite and added pepperoni and it was really good! They have a pretty good happy hour and deals throughout the week as well. It's nice to sit on the second floor patio and people watch on the weekend when it's busy by the water. Overall, we would definitely go back and can't wait to try more things on the menu! read more

Farrelli's Pizza - 16" James' Favorite with Pepperoni - Pizza Near Me - Tacoma, Washington

Ordered for pickup because it was national pepperoni day, curbside was awesome, but I got to say the pizza is lacking. Most slices had less than 50% coverage of pepperoni, and had like globs of cheese randomly, this location has been going down hard. My wife and I use to come here every other weekend, but then they changed the special beer, raised prices, reduced the discounts, well this was the final straw this pizza is an utter disappointment for the price paid. read more

The food here was delicious! We came for lunch and there was a decent number of people but it wasn't too crowded. We got a seat on the bar side in one of the booths by the window, which was really nice. We got quite a number of items - caesar salad, chicken wings, and two pizzas. This was more than enough food and we had plenty of leftovers to take home. The wings were absolutely fantastic - the sweet chili garlic glaze was so addictingly good, and I would definitely get those again. We chose one of the specialty pizzas and also made our own, which was a combination of pesto, onions, and pulled pork. The pizza crust itself was perfect - thin and crispy, with great flavor. Overall, I really enjoyed this spot and would definitely recommend it! read more

So bad. It was delivery, so I get that might been out of the control of the restaurant. No, just horrible pizza and salad. The delivery was the best thing about this order. Check my reviews, it has to really bad for me to post a negative review. Two pizzas, both scorched crust and still raw. Not even edible. If they were trying to be expedient on a delivery, just make it right. We get it, it it's Sunday night before a holiday, we will wait. But terrible pizza's. Not okay for $90+ read more

A $55 pizza, ordered four toppings, received three, called the restaurant, they gave us $3.00 credit for the missing topping. $52 for a three topping pizza. Will never order from Farrelli's again. read more

Here visiting from Los Angels CA. Our family here kept raving about the pizza. We ordered the family deal and a "James favorite" pizza. Well, sadly to say we never got to taste James favorite. The server forgot to put in the order. The pepperoni pizza was good, thin crust. Buffalo wings were good too. Service was ok, place was nice. We waited 1 1/2 hours not really worth the wait. read more

This place is located on 6th Ave. there is a little lot on the side for parking. Fills up quickly on a busy day. We've been here twice in maybe a month and both times have been excellent. We sit on the bar side which is 21 and up. I'm appreciative of this option. It's well lit with popular music and a pool table. The server is always quick and friendly. Solid service in my opinion. I didn't care for my drinks the first visit. Barely tasted like a shot was in my drink. The second time this was not the case at all so bartenders may matter. The food is soooo delicious. It's my favorite pizza in the area. It's becoming a regular spot for me. read more

My wife had gone here before (without me) and raved about how good it was and so we finally got around to trying it together. We ordered takeout, and the pizza was ready right when we arrived, but still very warm, so they clearly had the timing right! We ordered the Meateater's and it was delicious and so filling! They do not hold back on the toppings. In this case, though, I did find that with all the meats on there, it was a little bit greasy. I don't believe there's anything the restaurant could do to change this, that's just the price you pay when you get a meat heavy pizza. We will certainly be coming back and you all should try it too! read more

Overall a really good experience at Farrelli's Pizza. The service/staff were all nice and courteous, but absent at time. Asking for a refill on beverages went a little bit longer than we would have liked. The pizzas were really good. We all had more slices than we could actually stomach. We did the "one bite, everybody knows the rules" approach, and the pizza definitely didn't disappoint. Definitely a 7.7. Great location and view. Overall a really good experience. read more

It was open late, no wait, and fit the bill for pizza and a beer. The pizza was ok, not memorable. We asked for Shaker cheese and received packets and also a side of hot honey. Tried one of their beers on draft. They offered a sample which was nice. read more

We stopped by Farrelli's today. Our experiences have always been good. The staff was friendly, as usual. Two things that bothered me, however. First, and most importantly, my daughter got the kids meal with cheesy breadsticks. She kept telling me they tasted like olive oil or something was off. Finally, I tried them and there was a ranch dressing under the cheese on top of the bread. Not good at all! She did not eat it. I probably should have said something, but we were pretty far along in our meal at that point. The second thing is that my favorite menu item is the veggie pizza. Where is it? I saw the margherita (which I ended up getting by default) and the Mediterranean. So sad not to see my fave. Anyhow, I can handle me not getting what I want, although not happily, but am sad when my kid is displeased (and rightfully so). Darn. read more

I typically only come here for HH because it's never busy at this location. Pizzas are 25% off which is nice because they recently raised prices. You might as well just pay $30 plus for a 16 inch pizza rather than $18 for a personal size. Just my opinion. Service is good and pizzas are made pretty fast considering they are wood fired. Can't beat the cheap large mug of beer for $5.50. read more

Happy Hour! Prices are fair, sat in bar area, bartender Faith was kind, works with a sense of urgency, and is helpful. Bring your cash for pull tabs as the ATM isn't working at the moment. Full large screen TVs in the bar. Good spacious tables. Food came out fresh, beer and drinks came out cold. Food came out quickly. Keep in mind this is happy hour times on a Monday in mid October as the rain is pouring outside. Music isn't too loud and the ambiance is calm. I recommend checking them out if you are out in the area. read more

This was supposedly the National Winner. Not enough sauce, cream cheese hardly relevant and Honey? Pretty sure there wasn't any. Pepperoni (due to demand) less than relevant and there were NO red pepper flakes... I.am TIRED of paying 23.00 for a 12 inch pizza thay is NEVER as ordered! I'd rather go to Half Pint! Cheaper, better quality, get what you order and WORTH what you pay. Farellis, aim breaking up with you. Your point system, app and rewards DONT WORK....ever. read more

Amazing Pizza amazing atmosphere kinda a long wait but no biggie if you can wait a bit

I was on my way for a nice cup o' decaf at Valhalla Coffee down the street when I decided on a whim to watch the game a bit here. Nice spacious pizza joint. Big standard sports-oriented bar area on left, standard dining area on right and center kitchen area in-between with building restrooms down far right hallway. Fairly run-of-the-mill vegan options which isn't bad; always great in a pinch or convenient. In this case, just convenient. Got my coffee, the game happened to be on, as well, so let's check 'er out. Gimme a custom 12" red sauce no ch33se with a handful of veggie variety and basil/herbs fresh at the end. Super bummer for no oregano(!). Pizza and no oregano is no bueno. They did manage some parsley. While my coffee run took a bit long (grabbed it while I waited), the server put my pizza under a heat window thing which wilted my fresh basil. She gladly brought me some fresh extra. Apparently my pizza tray wasn't cleaned sufficiently as beneath one slice I discovered a melted cheese thumb print from a past order. Overall the waitress was pleasantly friendly if a bit slow and a bit underwhelming flavor. Great selection & angle for watching games, though. That sharp bump past the driveway is rather gnarly; get that fixed. read more

We were told by three different restaurants that we would have to wait almost an hour on a Saturday afternoon, which made sense but also made us hungry. Luckily, Farrelli's Pizza had a 20-30 minute wait so we gave our information. I never got a text so we went in near the time that we were supposed to get one, and the hostess told us that she sent a text just now but I still have not received it so be wary. We had a party of 5 but they gave us a table for 8. Our waitress Jami was an absolute sweetheart who genuinely cares about her customers. She was attentive to not only our table but other tables as well. She was patient and knowledge as well. We orders 2 strawberry lemonades, 12" deluxe classic, 12" James' Favorite, Meatballs Marinara, Sweet chili and garlic boneless wings, and bread sticks. The lemonades were the best, they remind of Red Robin's Freckled Lemonade but with more strawberry flavor. The pizzas were absolutely divine, especially the deluxe classic! The appetizers were also wonderful, and the boneless wings were so juicy and flavorful! We want to come back to try more like the pastas and desserts! They also have a rewards program and you get $10 immediately when you sign up! They also have free wifi as well! read more

They updated their pasta menu in an obvious attempt to be uniform in their options probably due to costs. This changed ruined their pasta options. No one wants cavatappi noodles. I am born and raised here and I love to support our businesses and I have always loved to come here with the kids but I have to make this post because this needs to be taken more serious. I came in late with my Husband before a movie and ordered a gluten free vegan pizza a salad and a drink for him. we ate sat there for 30 min then paid and tipped well. As we are getting up to leave the waitress comes over and tells me the pizza we just ate was acrually a wheat pizza Not a gluten free crust. The waitress clearly put it in the order and somewhere down that line someone didn't read it and just made whatever they wanted? No one came and gave us a refund no manager came out to talk to us when they clearly knew they messed up. I will never go back because it's ridiculous how much of a point I made it and how completely over looked it was. I get it if I cant trust food I shouldn't eat there. if you are celiac DO NOT eat here. I have been puking blood since 12. No thanks. read more

28 June 2024 11:18pm Farrelli's pizza of the month of June I really enjoyed was called The Eye of The Tiger. Server named Kaijah H was super pleasant to me. I ordered a personal size pizza and two refreshing beverages while waiting for my order. I had a really stressful and chaotic day at work so it was nice that it was quiet in there. Kaijah H had a great smile on her face and her customer service was excellent. I will definitely return to the 6th Avenue location. Thank you, Kaijah H! read more

I explained so many times about my celiac disease to my waitress that I felt that comfortably she could deliver me a bread, free meal. I ordered a salad and it came with a triangular piece of bread laid all on top. The salad had to be returned and a new salad had to be made, which was delivered 23 minutes later after everyone else in my party had eaten. Lettuce was pink and brown dying. Thanks for a horrible Mother's Day dinner (on Saturday) The place wasn't that busy. Only 1 tea refill offered. Someone in the building needs to know what salad dressings/options are gluten-free so the ordering process can be easier.... Clearly, clueless, waitress, sad that the whole entire salad had to be wasted. It looked beautiful otherwise read more

Ok so I'm sad to post a one star. Farellis. We love loved coming here for date night and getting the italia pizza. We loved the bits of loose sausage and the thick strips of old world pepperoni. The bits of parsley and best were the mama lil peppers added to make this pizza one of a kind and absolutely top shelf..., bur we came in this past Friday and we're told that the italia pizza no longer came w mama Lil .. now it's pepperoncini. No big deal right...WRONG... big deal! Not only was there no peppers but the thinly sliced the old work pepperoni... no sausage. Saddest pizza ever. Not worth the 38$. Won't be going back. read more

I take my elderly mother here frequently because she has a gluten and dairy intolerance so the Dairy Free cheese and Cauliflower crust are go-to's for us. We came in today and sat in the bar. We ordered drinks and then had a few other questions that the bartender checked on for us. After being there for about 20 min and ordering our food the bartender returned and advised there was no dairy free cheese in house. Super bummed that we weren't notified sooner. After she repeatedly asked me if we wanted the pizza sans cheese (the reason why we come here and pay the exorbitant prices is because of the allergen options, a pizza isn't a pizza without cheese!) I told her we'd have to head over to Ruston Farelli's. We were brought a bill for the beer I had. I'm sad to see how far downhill this place has come. I'm a restaurant manager, eat the $7 for the beer and keep a customer coming back. To make matters worse, the service at Pt. Ruston was even worse. We were 1 of 3 tables in the bar. I really wanted to come and have a nice lunch but after 2 Farelli's visits it was apparent that wasn't happening today. read more

I went here the evening of February 18th and I must I had some of the greatest service I have ever had! You ever go somewhere and service is "so" good that you end up ordering more and more food! lol I don't know if Farreli's was banking on me doing this, but let's just say I won't have any car insurance for this month! On this occasion I had the happy hour all meat pizza (with salami substituted for jalapeño's). It was "amazing"! The toppings were fresh, the meat was extremely flavorful, and jalapeño were perfectly pickled! I want to go back just thinking about it! While the pizza's here can get a bit expensive we went during happy hour so the pizza which would've normally been about $14 for a personal size was half off so it was a good deal. My friends ordered the spicy Italian which they said was "super" good and the loaded mac and cheese which they also said was really good. We also tried the hot wings which were some of the "best pizza joint" (oven baked wings) I have ever tired! Needless to say I "will" be back! PROS: - Service, Service, Service - Great Food - Nice interior - Incredible wings for being oven baked CONS: - Can be expensive - Kind of dead on weak nights read more

This was my favorite place to go and its 2-3minutes away from my house. Wife and I used to go here every Thursday. But today I ordered the ice cream chocolate chuck cookie sammie (warmed up chocolate chip cookies, ice cream, carmel drizzle, chocolate drizzle, and oreo cookie crumble to go which took 45 mins to get it. It came out not put together, not warm, and missing toppings. I get it that I ask for it togo but to not even make it at all just a bunch of side items to put together, nooo I don't want that. Waitress nicely offered to remake it and ask if I still wanted it to go since we were staying now. First it took 45 more minutes to come out. Second it came out with the cookies not warm and missing toppings, dressed on a plate. The more I go here the more I not like this place. I still tipped my waitress though. Probably won't go here any more. read more

Since the farrellis pizza in Ruston was a two hour wait with two kiddos that wasn't going to be an option so we went to the next best thing ! Definitely a complete different vibe , way smaller atmosphere, only a few booths and tables for the family side . The quality of food was still pretty good I enjoyed my personal pizza and my husband had the Beer cheese Philly pizza devoured that ! So they brought out my youngest kids first which would of been better to wait for both since Elijah is only 1 and Atticus is 3, my older is sitting there asking me "why I have no food and he's hungry " when he's watching his younger brother eat Mac and cheese . Also the guy dropped it off with no spoon as we had to flag down someone to give us a Spoon, then they gave the "wrong Mac and cheese " it was supposed to be for the adorable gal behind us but my kid already put his hand in it and was already trying to chow down . Young servers and expos which I give endless respect too but I definitely prefer the larger one better being in the back looked dark may add some mood lighting ? and the lighter open airy section was for the bar only which kinda was sad since families enjoy looking outside too ! I will definitely eat endless pizzas from here and the kiddos ate their food ! Still a yummy experience! read more
