    Quad all meat

We were nearby for a baseball showcase and found this place on yelp. We have been craving deep dish pizza since our Chicago trip a year ago. It did not disappoint! We were new to try the Quad, with all meat, we also got a traditional Chicago with pepperoni. My husbands favorite was the all meat but the Chicago put me in a cheese and sauce coma! The place is a little hidden and very limited seating. We were the only group dining in, everyone else that came were carrying out. I believe the owners were the ones waiting on us. They were so sweet. Come HUNGRY leave HAPPY!

    Sausage mushroom olive pizza

This was the worst pizza I have ever ordered. I was not edible. I order pineapple and ham and got a plain cheese. The other was sausage mushroom and olive, it was soggy and greasy. The employees were rude when I went to pick up the order. I was so disappointed because I had waited for sometime to try this restaurant. My review is over priced with under performance. It gets 0 stars

Very nice waitress in a weirdly hidden restaurant off the main road. It's very mom and pop, unfortunately with gnats and flies, but the whole point is the food, right? She told us they import all the meats from Chicago so, if true, that's pretty unique. The deep dish was good - nothing to write home about honestly. While we've had better, it's good to know we don't necessarily have to travel to Seattle for deep dish if we don't want to. The meatballs were very tasty (maybe IL just does them better?) and had no weird hard bits, which annoys me with most ground meat. Overall, I'd return.

Dave and Lisa are a genuinely sweet couple serving up some serious pizza magic. This was my first-ever Chicago-style pie, and it absolutely delivered. The cheese pull was basically endless, and the crust was spot on -- crispy on the outside, chewy in the center, and seasoned just right so the salt balanced perfectly with the pizza. With a 5-year-old and a 2-year-old in tow, we appreciated the coloring papers and crayons during the longer cook time (which is completely worth the wait). The kids loved it, we loved it, and the whole experience felt welcoming from start to finish. You can tell Dave and Lisa genuinely enjoy what they do, and Lisa's sense of humor makes it even more fun. So glad we came in -- we'll be back.

We got the bbq wings and Hawaiian deep dish pizza. The wings were meaty and saucy and the pizza had a delicious crispy crust and was super cheesy and flavorful! Definitely will come back!

    Italian beef.. juicy & delicious

Off the beaten path, but a gem & well worth it. Overpriced? A little bit, but if you're looking for the authentic Chicago dog, Italian beef, or deep dish pizza this is the best place in the south puget sound. It's not Al's beef, Tony's, Portillo's, or Giordano's yet, but they are giving it a great try & always open to a typical Chicago opinion.. lol Tasty, fresh, and great service with a smile. The smile doesn't come in Chicago, so that's a bonus.. give it a try.

We were in Chicago last weekend and didn't have time to get a Chicago dog or an Italian beef sandwich. I decided to search for a Chicago style restaurant near Tacoma and found this gem! We tried the Chicago chi-dawg, the Cub (Italian beef), and The Quad deep dish, pan-style pizza. The hotdog was classic and perfect. The beef sandwich with the Giardiniera relish was dynamite. But the star of the show was the pizza. Great ratio of sauce, cheese and toppings; and that burnt cheese pan crust was fantastic. The service was fast and friendly. The owner came out and told us about how he adopted his favorite recipes from all the places he loved and worked at when he lived in Chicago. It was a great experience, we'll definitely be going back!

    A half empty pizza

The crust shows that they have the pan to do genuine Chicago deep dish pizza. But ours was cold and more than half way empty. A regular pizza with Chicago crust, an utter disappoint for 60 dollars never again

The service was wonderful the lady was kind and very helpful. I was blown away by the sauce it was perfect. The deep dish was delicious and I can't wait to come back! My boyfriend got the thin pizza where he said it was ok. Honestly I think the deep dish is worth the calories and wait!

The Chicago dog was perfect. The deep dish was the best Chicago pizza I have had outside of Chicago. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be going back.

Solid Chicago style pizza. Only note is that the chest was moderately soggy. Still good though and will definitely go back.

Paid $30 for a not so fresh pizza. Tasted like the dough was frozen, toppings were not fresh. Disappointed. Service was good though.

I try to find places that are consistent from order to order before I write a post. That being said this is the first time that I ordered pizza from Westside since new management took over after Covid. In the past, this pizza was pretty good. Toppings were consistent from pizza to pizza with plenty of meat and vegetable toppings just like you'd expect from anybody that you order pizza from. Last night I ordered the same pizza that I normally get from anyone of the pizzerias around this area and found that Westside Pizza really needs some work. Their Hawaiian pizza was supposed to have double Canadian bacon, double pineapple and double cheese, and what I got was a single layer of ham on top of the sauce that was paper thin and about 4 cups of pineapple along with their extra cheese. The Westside combo was no different, plenty of vegetable toppings and no meat. I couldn't taste the pepperoni and had to go looking for it. There it was, paper thin, sitting on top of the sauce causing a sloppy wet mess. Most pizza has a small layer of cheese to hold the toppings in place and this was missing in both pizzas. If you're going to put extra cheese on the pizza, you have to put some down on the sauce before you lay your toppings. What I'd like to see from Westside Pizza is their pizza cooked a little longer, cheese added on top of the sauce, so it's not soggy, and a consistent amount of meat and vegetables that complement each other versus one topping over powering the rest of the pizza. I never want to ask "where's the meat"? The one positive that I could take away from Westside Pizza is their sauce. It has its own unique flavor that you won't find elsewhere. I know this pizzeria is struggling to stay open and I would like to see them stay afloat. Hopefully more people will come here and give a legitimate review of the pizza and hopefully they'll make some changes to satisfy their customers.
