What is so special about this particular chain pizza joint in UP? Well, first off is the QUALITY and QUANTITY of the ingredients. Secondly, the SAUCE and lastly, the CRUST. There's no comparison to the other chain pizza establishments. On top of all of that are the guys that work there. Every time I'm there to pick up or dine in, they are 100% working their a$$ off to bring out the best made pizzas. This location is always busy too but they haven't gotten a wrong order. Once I heard one of the cooks tell their customer,"I made it real good. Enjoy!". During the lunch buffet, if there is a pizza you want, they will cook it for you. They even asked if my kids had any special requests (cheese only etc). Can't beat the lunch buffet! Overall, I've tried many pizza joints in the South Sound and I still crave Round Table. Came back to this location for a kids sports team event on a Saturday night. It was totally packed and chaotic but the staff was seriously . They never got upset or seemed stressed. My family and I went to this location for my sons 9th birthday last night. We ordered two large pizzas, one was a pepperoni with half no cheese. Birthday boy doesn't eat cheese. The pizza arrived half cheese and half cheese and pepperoni. I proceeded to let the staff know and they said they would have a medium remade for him. About 20 minutes go by and my birthday boy is still hungry... come to find out that they forgot to make the pizza. Somehow they thought upgrading the size and making me a large no cheese pepperoni pizza would fix the situation. It is literally one person eating no cheese pizza, I don't really need a large. It is not doing me a favor. And we had to wait another 15 minutes. Then after spending $40 on games, the ticket voucher machine wasn't working. Kids were unable to turn in their tickets for prizes. Poor customer service. I ordered $112 worth of pizza tonight from their website. There is an error with the website that doesn't allow you to order Pepsi's. So I called to add Pepsi to my order, the person I spoke to said, no worries, since you ordered a bunch of pizza, we will gladly give you 2 Pepsi. That sounded like great customer service. Came at dinner time on a Monday because they offer dinner buffet. Arrived about 5:30pm to find the place fairly empty. Tables hadn't been cleaned off and the salad bar was pretty bare. A rush of people came right after us and there was a constant line of people waiting for pizza. Also, I think it's a little gross that they don't offer new plates for additional trips to the buffet unless you ask. I watched them reuse the pizza trays from the buffet without cleaning. It makes me wonder what else isn't washed. read more

I stopped by Round Table this afternoon for some quick grinds and a Dr Pepper. Round Table is one of my pizza fav's when traveling in University Place . It was lunch time and for $8.50 I had the all you can eat special. What an amazing deal and fresh pizza to boot. However on a normal dinning experience Franks all about Montague's All Meat Marvel Pizza, it's loaded with meats, cheese and grease. Now Round Tables grease is the kinda grease you wanna bathe in cause it's so wonderful. Brings the flavors out of my pizza to have the ultimate dining experience. I also added an 8 piece boneless hot wings, which I'm totally addicted to. Just enough spice kick to be annoy you but well worth it's pain. Now if your venturing in during lunch time this Round Table offers salad buffet, however FRANK never touches the buffet anywhere except Round Table Pizza ( have you scene the people who eat buffet? Do I need to say anymore) Ok now back to what I was saying . The buffet offers salad bar, bread sticks and pizza all for a single price. Not sure if it's an all day event so investigate it yourself. I'm just pleased with Round Tables consistency in there pizza, I'll always seek out a round table pizza anywhere. We have been here like 4 times for their lunch buffet. Better quality food than a fast food place and the pricing for the buffet might actually be cheaper then taking my kids to fast food. The pizza is always fresh because it's a busier location. The guy working the register is super friendly and asking what pizza my kids like so they can make it. Can't beat the price and happy kids. I've seen them super friendly with other guests as well. We will be back. I'm afraid to show my kids the arcade area because they wouldn't want to leave! OUTSTANDING SERVICE DURING COVID . honestly i'm so happy I chose to treat myself and get pizza , I asked for flat wings as my preference in the instructions which i've never done here before & they went above and beyond . the flat wings were very small so for my order I got almost double the wings instead of just a couple small flats . The pizza is passable for an area that is totally lacking in anything approaching good pizza outside of Cloverleaf but the prices are highway robbery. Most chains (Papa Johns, etc) are half the price, and when you factor in coupons almost a third. The fact that large pizzas are over $20 even after discounts is absurd for any fast-casual pizza place, much less a chain like Roundtable. They try and pass themselves off like some gourmet pizza chain but most locations look like Chuck E Cheese inside, and only offer slighty better food! I'd give the pizza three stars and the price one, so a two star overall rating. (Also, I have to add, the manager (or whatever he is) replying to poor reviews is a total joke. His replies make the place come off worse than if he'd just left them alone and said nothing. It really ensures me that the place wouldn't care if a bad experience ever did arise.) read more

Almost every table in the resturaunt had dirty plates and glasd on them, despite only a few people in tbe resteraunt. Salad bar was not any better..salad was brown and needed attention as a whole. I wonder were is the manager of this place or the district manager? This place needs an overhaul and to be cleaned. Have to wonder what the kitchen looks like or when its been cleaned last. We usually like Round Table. But this specific location has just not been up to par the times we've come. The good thing about this location is the play area. We have a 3 year old and it makes dining in a restaurant a little easier. We can watch him play, and he can come and eat his pizza as he pleases. 1 star. The location is less then a mile away from our house and parking is never an issue. 1 star. ANNNNDD thats about it. The staff, i've found, has been fairly lazy. We only come during the buffet (my husband eats a lot of pizza) and the pizza keeps coming for the first hour. The last hour or so they slow it down A LOT. To the point of people having to ask them to make more pizza. I find that annoying. And here's the best part. The salad. Don't. EVER. eat. the salad. because. BEETLE. Yes, I said it. A live green little beetle laying on its back with it little stick legs wriggling about. It was not cool. And not pretty. And I almost upchucked my whole meal. I've always liked Round Table and have always come here for Sports parties or just in general get together. I used to come here always as a kid to experience Round Table, but as I got older it seemed like the experiences got less appetizing. First, it's expensive and everytime I come here, the staff always seems to hate their job. Second, the pizza is good but that's it. All the PTA meetings, school functions etc are held here in the room that is available. This visit was for my daughter's end of the year party for her baseball team. This is a much better round table than the "clubhouse" one. This is the second time I've been to this location. The pizzas are always fresh and hot, and these boys make 'em fast! Both times I've been there's been a crew of cute boys who are super friendly and helpful. They also follow instructions on orders, which is a huge deal to me! I love the Italian Garlic Supreme but not everything that comes on it, and every time I've made special instructions for my pizzas they've followed them! The clubhouse one does not. Yes the pizzas are typically more expensive than pizza hut and dominos, but you're definitely getting better quality pizzas here! I love the flavors of their sauces too, don't come for me!! And, little know secret, go on their website or app and there's usually "specials" which is always a great deal. When I walked in they were all wearing masks (3 guys) and I was immediately greeted with a very friendly "I'll be right with you." He went and washed his hands, which right now, is amazing! I loved seeing this! Since I had ordered online, he went and checked on my order, it wasn't quite ready yet, so he offered to bring it to my car! What great service! Also, I believe if you call the number and say that you're there, they'll bring it to your car.
