Sadly this is all that we have for leftovers of the Meat Lovers and Cheese Lovers pizza. So good! Great value!

Great service, great value and the pizza was AMAZING! I've been past this place so many times and never stopped. Walked in and you can just smell the greatness. Crust wasn't dry, over floured on the bottom, real cheese that strings when you pull the pieces apart My only regret is not trying it sooner. They have gluten free and vegan options too!

I have been wanting to try Abella's for a long time now. My family stopped in on Friday night for dinner and it did not disappoint. It lived up to all of the other great reviews! This is our family's new favorite pizza spot in Tacoma! We ordered a medium half cheese half pepperoni pizza for the kids and my husband and I shared the Peppercotta. Everything was fresh. The garlic in the peppercotta takes the pizza to the next level. We ordered sides of ranch and it tastes house made. It also had the kids vote for best pizza joint. There weren't many drink options, but they do have canned pop, bottled beer and water. There is indoor seating. Can catch a small cold draft from customers coming in and out, but that's to be expected. Thanks for the awesome customer service! We will see you soon!

Some of the best greasy goodness in Tacoma! Order was on time, toppings were generous, and they add a little extra garlic on their pizza which I tend to like. They also offer much more affordable prices as compared to some other places. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other versatile options on the menu!

We order takeout from here on a regular basis. The salads are great, and the pizza is very flavorful, and they do not skip on toppings. We live within the delivery area, and there is no charge for delivery, which is great. While all their pizzas are delicious, I think our favorites are the Peppercotta and the Margherita are are favorites. They also have a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, and pastas (individual or family size).

10 Tables but all large.

Tacoma WA. Still kind of reeling from the experience. Clearly a place to eat at when in town. Side Caesar. Getting this again. Very large for a side. Well constructed with fresh croutons and shaved Parm. Wonderful. Meatballs. A little strange how they showed up but I ate everything. The fresh Marinara was a great dip for the meatballs and the pizza crust. The pizza was just amazing. I like my food hot out of the over. Burn your mouth hot. This didn't disappoint. Hade to take a bite back out and regroup it was so hot when it hit the table. No matter I eat like a shark and went in for an immediate second attempt. In the end no blisters in my mouth, so it was just right for me. Cheese stayed gooey and ingredients that are so fresh. Got a brownie too but I rarely get to eat them after I bring them back to my tribe. A two finger brownie!! You got to try this place. It is a really great food experience.

Main floor, ordering counter, some seating

The food was amazing, not a long wait for a fresh made pizza. We got the meat pizza with half normal cheese and half vegan cheese, I was very happy they allowed that, as many places don't. The vegan cheese itself is , one of the best I've ever had. Service was good, the one employee that was a bit "meh" in attitude warmed up after I think he realized I was having a tough time. Saturday lunch rush was quaint and quiet, feels like a traditional pizzeria. Pricing is the same as any other pizza place you would go (Dominos, Papa John's, cheaper than Papa Murphy's), so I would recommend coming here over them.

Delicious chopped salad. Huge and tasty!

This is a review on the Antipasta Salad. It was delicious and a great value. I purchased the entree size. I was $12.95 which I consider a bargain given how large it was. It should have been enough for 2 meals but I gobbled most of it. It was very fresh. It had the perfect ratio of toppings and greens and the right amount of dressing. I will definitely order again and try other salad options.

Gluten free 14" pizza. Extra cheese, pepperoni on 100% & sausage on 50%

This is one of the best gluten free pizzas we have ever had! Extra cheese, all pepperoni & half w/ sausage. Well done cook. Absolutely amazing gluten free pie! Can't wait to come back.

16 inches of goodness.

Four of us shared a 16" Peppercotta pie... a beauty loaded with pepperoni, sausage, ricotta, and garlic. The in-house made crust was sturdy yet chewy and their freshly made sauce complemented the pie perfectly. Service was efficient and friendly. The facility is rather spartan and lacks the feeling of a place that invites you to kick back and relax. All in all, a quality pizza that bears repeating.

Margherita Large 16"
Ingrid A.

When we got to the restaurant it was empty and quiet, but after ordering it seems like a lot of people have pick up orders. Inside was clean and spacious. Service was very good! We added ricotta to our Margherita pizza, and it was delicious! Their house salad is full of veggies, garbanzo beans, sliced Pepperoncinis, and artichoke hearts. It seems like all of their dressings are made in house and are amazing. Hot wings are super good and not too spicy. Prices are very reasonable! I'm not local but I would absolutely come here again and will recommend it to everyone.

The pizza was good, I had to drive around the block a few times to find it because the sign was kind of hidden by a tree.

Daughter and I were looking for a quiet place to sit down and talk while having a snack after a…read morewalk through the rain at Wright's Park. We saw this little sandwich shop we hadn't seen before and decided to check it out. The atmosphere is very nice, casual, and comfortable. It looks like it would be good to sit and do homework, have lunch with some friends, or go to a casual brunch with family. There are lots of seating choices: a couch and comfy chairs, high tables and stools, and regular tables. One table had a puzzle started you could work on and there were lots of games and books you could use. You order at the counter, they deliver food to your table and there is a place to bus your own table. The beverage menu included coffee and alcoholic beverages. They offered sandwiches, crepes, pastries and soup. We ordered coffee, a pastry, soup, and order of crepes to be eaten there. The coffee was fine served in a nice mug. The cookie was large but packaged in a plastic bag that would have been ok if we had been a to go order. But we were eating there so we either had to put it directly on the table or on the plastic bag. The tomato soup was very tasty, creamy with a little kick of spice. It had occasional chunks of tomato and visible pieces of basil. All of this goodness was overshadowed because it was served in a small ramekin, the type cooks use to portion food when they are preparing a recipe. It appeared we were getting a large taste of soup instead of a cup of soup. For some reason I assumed the savory crepes would be fresh and warm, but instead my order was made with premade cold crepes loosely wrapped around the mostly cheese filling. Taken as a whole we left disappointed. The atmosphere was nice enough that I will try this place again and try something else. I hope for better because it looks like it could be a great place to eat and hang with friends.

But then we looked cross the street on 1st, where there used to be an Anthem, and even though it was already 6pm, this sandwich shop was still open and...there was a BINGO game happening. Whaddya know? So we took a peak in and they were not only serving sandwiches but they also had a cooler full of microbrews and kombuchas, beer on tap, wine, and a whole list of cocktails made from prosecco and other non-hard liquors like Amaro. Truly something for everyone. So we gave our order to the sweet human at the counter and took our seats I'm not kidding, my Amaro sour was one of the best cocktails I've had in a while in Tacoma and so were the pretzel sticks. I want my cocktails cold, tart, and refreshing with a little kick of funk or herbs and I want my pretzels salty. You wouldn't think that's such a high bar to clear but you'd be surprised. Sandwich Starr nailed it. Our Zatan sandwich was tasty but even though the bread felt a little stale. Otherwise the decor is kinda '90s coffee house and they've got bingo! Overall, this is an odd spot but the drinks are really good and it's got heart and it's the heart that makes it Tacoma.

No welcome or anything or a "hey just sit anywhere you want". So I just took initiative, grabbed a menu and sat at an empty table. There's a sign that said "order at the bar" but the barkeep would go to other people and ask what they wanted. Okay, that's fine... Trying to follow the rules so I don't single myself out, I went to the bar and was asked for my ID, but why? I wasn't ordering drinks and when other people came, the barkeep didn't ask the other customers for their ID so I felt some type of way but whatever. We proceed to order the Philly and Mac & Cheese. Philly tasted great because it also came with dipping sauce. The only thing lacking was that I felt it wasn't enough. Plus It seemed like I had more bread as opposed to meat. Mac & Cheese was great also, it was soft and creamy plus it had crunchy bits. It had the consistency of valveeta cheese. We asked for the check, we waited, waited some more so I finally went to the bar and closed the tab that I didn't order drinks with, just food. I like the vibe, its like being in a classic tattoo studio with posters on the wall with classical prints from different time periods. Not a big establishment or room inside but just enough to have a modest amount of 30 people. It's a nice joint but not really for me, I'd probably order through Uber eats with this place.

Some differences that I noticed is that the outdoor seating is just a few tables and chairs outside so you can enjoy your meal outside and they do have dog water bowls out too! The other difference is that dogs are also welcomed inside! I told this when I received my order and I was chatting with the two employees at the counter. I'm a big fan of breweries, especially those with several drinks on draught or tap, and if they're really good, I'll buy them in a bottle. However, I read their review and noticed that they had vegan and vegetarian options, so I thought, "You know what? That's a combination I can't resist. Beers with a delicious sandwich!" A few days later, I made plans to visit on Saturday, which happened to be one of the two days this year that it snowed in the Pirec. It was quite amusing with the parking and the snow that stuck everywhere. As soon as I walked in, the bar was buzzing with energy. It had a great vibe. I didn't think I'd get any seats, but I managed to snag one at the bar with a very friendly person. I spent all but about 3 to 4 hours there. The sandwich I ordered was called the Rainier, and it was mentioned in the review, but the name wasn't revealed. It consists of a field roast loaf, Chao vegan cheese, herbed vegan mayonnaise, tomato, red onion, and arugula on sourdough bread. I'm not a big fan of mayonnaise, even if it's vegan, so I swapped it out with some pesto-style creamy cheese, and it turned out even better than I expected. The sandwich was a perfect five out of five. I would definitely order it every time I come. It came with a side of chips, which was a great addition. The sandwich was massive, so I could only eat half of it. I took the other half home for the next day. For my beers, I'm a big stout-and-porter guy, so I went with the Fort George's. They had two options: the Salted Caramel Cavatica & Matryoshka Vanilla. Both were exceptionally flavorful and probably my favorite porters I've had in all of Washington and many other states. Unfortunately, they ran out of the Salted Caramel Cavatica, so I ended up drinking the Matryoshka Vanilla for the rest of the night and didn't mind at all. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this place. I'm definitely going to make it a regular stop in my monthly rotations around Tacoma. Highly recommend stopping by this place. It's definitely a five.
