We've picked up pizza from here twice now, and I have to say that the novelty of baking it myself has not worn off (Look Ma! I cooked!). The first time we got a regular pizza (Half-Hawaiian, Half Pepperoni) and it needed to be cooked a little longer to make sure the dough could hold up the heavy toppings. Their sauce is good. I'd even go so far to say very good. Last night we had the special thin-crust Chicken Mediterranean for $7.99. You could actually get it anytime by ordering the regular Mediterranean and adding the chicken (I think with the coupon the price turns out to be the same). It was very good though the outer edges of the thin crust got a little too hard for me. You gotta love Papa Murphy's math (PMM). They say that the thin-crust pizza is half the carbs, half the fat, and then go on to specify that it has 60% less carbs and 40% less fat. Hunh? Don't expect anything fancy when you go there. Let me start by saying that I'm eating the pizza now and it's perfectly delicious so please don't take my two stars as a review of their food quality, because that's no problem. The reason I gave this place 2 stars is because of their service. I walked in a was barely greeted, and don't get me wrong I'm not the type of guy that likes to be bombarded by niceties when I walk in a place but a "Hi, how are you" doesn't hurt. So I go up and order a pizza and ask for a garlic pizza, yes just garlic, which might be strange but that's what I like....I pay my $15 dollars which seemed a bit high given the fact that I had a $2 coupon and they advertize a large 1-toping for $9 but I'm not one to question. So I'm sitting waiting for a reasonable amount of time, quick actually, and then the employee gives me my "Chicken-Garlic" pizza. I explained that I ordered a garlic pizza and then the employee said, "Oh I thought you said chicken garlic", which I'm not sure how you mistake that....but anyways, I sit and wait while they remake my pizza, all while they are snickering and talking about my apparently bizarre order. Finally I get my pizza after explaining to them twice as to what I wanted, a cheese pizza with garlic on it! In short it was just a really crappy customer service experience and it was my first time which really ruined my view on this place that I had high hopes for. I had to wait twice as long and explain myself multiple times for a very simple order. If the employee had simply clarified my order in the first place there wouldn't have been a problem, and I wouldn't have been over charged for what I ordered. I might go back to a different location as the pizza's good but this place really set me back. read more

About once a month my roommate and I have a Criminal Minds marathon to catch up on all the new episodes and veg out on pizza. Despite the fact that we live maybe a block away from two other pizza joints Papa Murphy's is our first choice for two reasons. One, PM seems to always be cheaper than delivery pizza and two, we like to pretend that its a ton healthier than other, greasier options. I'm a total crust girl and theirs is delicious! Papa Murphy's is my go to pizza spot. I'm done paying $25 for a large gourmet delivery pizza it's not worth it when you have a Papa's close by. The staff is always so quick & friendly. I'm madly in love with the Herb Chicken Mediterranean deLITE pizza and get it everytime. A couple of tips: call ahead and save yourself a few extra minutes. Do the surveys that come with your pizza's and get free stuff on your next visit. Love me some Papa Murphy's! You can pick up one of these awesome pizza's on your way home and pop it in the oven when you arrive! Pick what you want on it, have them make it in front of your eyes and enjoy! I love visiting PM's when I'm strapped for cash- you can get coupons by signing up for their e-club and easily get a large pizza for around or under $10. I love this place because I'm a picky eater and I don't trust places not to mess with my food. But here? I get to watch them! They never get our order right. All we ask for is light sauce and our toppings and every time they either lather it with sauce ( once put white sauce instead of light sauce) or forget a topping. One night we had to go back twice to the store where we were met with grumpy employees and it still wasn't right. I will not order from them again. I guess I'm forced to watch them make my pizza. Short and sweet - Service is super friendly, pizzas are ready in about five minutes when they're not busy which they haven't been either time I've gone (three ish in the afternoon), all of the toppings are delicious and fresh and the DeLite crust is great! A bit tricky to get the timing down so that the edges don't start to get a bit dark while it gets all perfect and yummy in the middle but you learn fast. I haven't tried the other crusts yet because we use P. Murphy's as our healthy pizza spot. I'll give them that fifth star when they come out with 2+ pizza coupons - nothing insane but it gets super pricy when you're trying to feed 6+ and can only cut off a chunk of one pie's price. You absolutely cannot go wrong with a Papa Murphy's pizza. I ate them when I lived in LA and Denver, and I'm thrilled to see that they're here as well. They have a huge variety of pizzas to choose from, and if you don't like what's on the menu, you can make your own. And the baking it at home thing is the best part... it doesn't taste like your regular delivery pizza, it tastes SO much better. The prices are about the same as delivery, but yes, you do actually have to go to the store to get the thing. But it's definitely worth it. I heart Papa Murphy's. read more

I love these guys. The pizza is fine, but the attitude I love. They have book-marks for kids; if they read 10 books, they get a free "mini murph" pizza. They did a coloring contest for kids in October; my six year old was SO EXCITED to get a call that he was a winner. They're doing another one for Christmas. They really seem to want to foster a "neighborhood" atmosphere and I love it. My kids are always excited to stop off there, and the energy they put into making kids feel special is what warms my heart the most. This is not about the pizza but the people who work at this particular location. We were greeted by a rude and unpleasant woman (probably the same one some other recent commenters were referring to) who essentially has no business having that job. Not only was her attitude poor, she was also incredibly incompetent, we had to repeat our order twice and she didn't pay attention as we had ordered 3 pizzas but only received 2. When the error was pointed out, we placed the order again and were snidely told "I'll have to charge you for that." Really??? We weren't expecting to get it for nothing. I ordered the XLNY 3 Cheese special. This is what I received. I asked the employee if that was the correct pizza, because I was expecting a lot more cheese. Her reply was that it's a "value pizza." I told her that it didn't state anywhere online - it was a special, which says "sale" to me. She again replied that it's a value pizza and that's all the cheese you get. No apology for the misrepresentation on the internet, no attempt to try to find a way to make it right. When a pair of pants is on sale 50% off, you don't just get one leg of the pants.
