Exceptional service by Jared. The pizza and salad was made with attention to detail and they asked me questions on how my day was going and my plans for the rest of the day. These days making genuine conversation and making food is a balancing act that not too many restaurant staff seem to have these days. In a time where everything is online, it is refreshing to see this type of service. It stands out from some of the other Mods other than U District which always go above and beyond as well. During busy rushes, I can totally envision Jared kicking butt and providing the same exceptional service. Ambiance is always Mod and I miss the pioneer square location. Another good MOD location! Welcomed immediately as we walked in, and quick to take our order and have it prepared. My favorite is the Caspian which is their BBQ chicken pizza. As with all MODs, they don't nickel and dime you on toppings, so it's a good deal. Crust is thin and crispy which is how I like it, so don't go looking for a greasy deep dish crust here. read more

The workers are amazing and way over worked. If there are reasons you have high turnover and low staff you need to fix it. I don't care if your franchise owner gets less at the end of the year, hire more - train better and actually invest in your workers PAY THEM. We no longer live in Bothell but, overall, MOD is a good experience for our family. My daughter is a picky eater and has a very specific order here. Employees are always accommodating and upbeat, and they have the system down-pat, so you're never waiting for long. While the soda is a bit overpriced if you're not eating-in, the crunchy nugget ice is sometimes worth it to me, anyway. read more

If you find that you don't look je your pizza toppings that's kind of on you. The value at Mod is excellent especially considering you will pay 40 bucks for a Pagliaccis pizza with the same toppings. Standard MOD pizza - no surprises as far as their standard menu is concerned. Tried the "Dominic" with a few tweaks and loved the sausage and Asiago. Ordered extra basil but it didn't look like much. I ordered using the app and picked up. This greatly helped with avoiding extra wait time especially during dinner rush. The person preparing orders was friendly and helped answer occasional questions. I ended up dining in. The tables needed some cleaning but I'm glad to see just about everyone treated their own tables respectfully. The employees here are really friendly and the store is kept clean. I had a pizza that I had selected as light bake and it was baked crispy, I pointed this out to them, and they remade it for me and told me to just keep the other one too. Always a good night when we get MOD takeout! The custom pizza deal is just too good to pass up for when we aren't feeling like making dinner. I'm usually never craving pizza Bc other pizza places are so oily and greasy, but I'm always down to get MOD! Pizzas are always fresh, and I don't end up feeling gross after. It needs some love and some attention to detail. Dusty, cobwebs, bits of dust falling from the ceiling. The back of the booths have a layer of dust with little finger prints in it from kids, like my son, who grabbed onto the back. The cushions on the benches had crumbs and oil smeared all over. And not like fresh oil from the dining room not being cleaned in the last day, but like, the whole booth seemed to be smeared with an oily coating. Maybe a restaurant rag that was no longer clean? Either way, it feels like the dining room has taken a bit of a backseat and needs a little attention. Again, food was solid, no complaints. But we'd take it to go next time. read more

My first experience at MOD won't be my last! I love the fact that you can get a perfect lunch-sized pizza for the same price lunch is elsewhere. I went with what is colloquially known as the Highway Man. Pepperoni, mushrooms and black olives. I made an online order and arrived to pick it up. The cook who calls out orders was off hanging out in the stock room chatting with another employee. Eventually he walked over to the oven, but ignored me and the other customers that arrived for pickups. He had a big collection of pizzas lining up for him to work on. Finally, another employee walked over and checked with the line and asked who was waiting on pickups. She was nice and handed us our pizzas, which had apparently been sitting around for a while. It was not that busy either, maybe 5 people in the entire store. I don't know what was going on with the cook, but he just didn't pay attention to anybody. This is mostly a criticism of that particular employee, but I actually stopped going here years ago because they were really bad about letting people know their orders are ready, especially if it's online. When came in during a late night run for pizza. Even with the line, they were quick in getting people their pizza. The manager, I think, was funny and talkative. The way she was talking about the food and Mod, you can tell she takes pride in what she does, which is awesome. My pizza came out great and delicious. My boyfriend's on the other hand came out burnt through out the crust. We were going to look past it since it was just the crust, but biting close to the crust, it was hard for my boyfriend to bite and chew. He was able to get another pizza made and the manager let him keep the burnt one! Since he was understanding about the burnt pizza (the large amount of people, lots of pizza in the oven, it's an easy oversight) she gave him a free drink! We love the salads, pizzas and No Name Cakes at Mod Pizza and always love the super friendly staff at the Lake Forest Park location. The restaurant is always clean and the food is always fast, but I'm always impressed by how kind and outgoing everyone is who works there! It took our kiddo a solid amount of time to get his very own Mod gift card out to pay and everyone was so patient and encouraging to him for being such a big kid and "paying" for dinner. This is a review of the Lake Forest Park, WA location only, and is about the atmosphere only. Two things: it is often very COLD in this restaurant. It's like having dinner in a walk-in refrigerator. Mod pizza always hits the spot! My go to is the mad dog, I would recommend their hot honey for the topping. It's not spicy and adds a nice spice and sweetness to the pizza. The staff was friendly and was working diligently on all orders. I normally order through the app but ordered in person this time. The wait was a little long, but I get it; they were really busy in there. If you don't want to wait, I would recommend ordering on the app. The restaurant has seats inside and outside. Why does the person that comes in to eat have the least important order? 15 min wait in line and 20 minute wait AFTER ORDERING for a fast food pizza. Also there's definitely a "type" of person they have working at every MOD location. Dirty, unkempt, not attractive. I guess birds of a feather flock together. They have their employee area outside by the bathrooms which is bizarre and then tell you not to sit there as if you should expect an employee area out there. Many years ago a friend introduced us to MOD. For years this was our favorite pizza option because our son loved it, and we could each make our own pizza exactly the way we wanted. MOD is a great place because your pizza is the same price no matter what toppings you choose. They do not break the bank like other pizza places do. Their salads are great, too. This was my first order and I'll never be ordering from them again. First they don't advertise that they use DoorDash for delivery so automatic five dollar fee there. Minimum of $15 not including that fee so I had to get this dingdong to get it up past that. I'm 2 miles away so I figure $5 tip so that's almost $29. First thing I noticed is the top is underdone and white. Second thing I noticed is there's hardly any sauce. Third, they gave me the wrong toppings. I inquired about the mad dog and then I asked the girl to just change it to a pepperoni mushroom sausage. They gave me pepperoni sausage onion. One slice only has half a piece of pepperoni. For a place with unlimited toppings they're kind of stingy. (Do I seriously need to order triple everything and ask for extra sauce?) And the onions are all small and diced up. Last but not least the tag says it still has pepperoni sausage ground beef. Combine all those things and it taste like garbage. Sausage can be iffy from some pizza places, sometimes there's weird spices on them, this taste gamey. Way too much hassle for a pizza the size of my hand. Next time I'll just drive to Spiros or get delivery from Sopranos if I want to spend $30 on a small pizza. I ate a one piece and tossed it. My buddy sent me the top pizza in that split pic that's the reason I ordered from Mod. That one looks delicious. (Ballard location) All stores are not created equal. Not even close. And make no mistake that no-name cake is a dingdong. I assume that's why they call it a no-name cake because they can't use Dingdong. Pretty sure Hostess still owns the rights to that. read more

Mod pizza is one of my favorite places now that they have dairy free cheese and got rid of the dairy in the red sauce. I love that for a flat price you can have as many toppings as you want. It's also great that you walk down the line with them and make sure they do everything exactly to your satisfaction. I also like that the veggie options are often changing, so you don't always end up getting the same exact stuff. I often opt for the family size salad and stuff my face for 2 meals for much cheaper than any other salad bar around. For those who are not into the make your own options they also let you customize the listings on the menu to add or subtract things at your will. Service is always friendly. This location does seem a bit more crowded so I usually opt for to go, but parking is easy and the line moves fast. I do appreciate that they always ask if you have been to Mod before, but I could do without the loud welcoming to the store. I plan to try out the app soon and see if it helps me skip the long line effectively. read more

Great pizza, 11" personal pizzas with whatever you want on a thin crust. Then you can get something like ranch swirled on top. I try to make at least one stop here when I'm in town. They are very quick, so if there's a line do be discouraged they move through it quickly. Staff is very friendly & happy. When it's nice out you can sit out side. read more

Came in at 9:45pm on a Saturday. The 4 staff on duty were closing down although the hours say they close at 11pm. I watched two staff members clean the toppings station for nearly 10 minutes rather than take the order of the person in front of me or mine. Didn't even acknowledge my presence. They only have one person preparing pizzas while cleaning up. The overall experience took 25 minutes - felt long for Mod. read more

I had really friendly pizza builders but the guy who cut and served my pizza at the end literally stared at me angrily for at least 10 seconds straight and didn't say a word and threw my stuff at me on the counter. We used to dine in at Mod pizza frequently (before Covid happened) typically on Sunday's after our LFP farmers market run. Recently, I was able to order Mod thru uber eats which was great! Tons of toppings to choose from, dairy free mozzarella, and crust is nice and thin / crunchy. The kids love it here, my husband loves it here, I love it for when I'm too lazy to make my own pizza. If you order from Uber eats, you can easily call the restaurant to make any subtle changes because they'll be able to access your order directly. We order 2 pizzas every week since March and today the driver brought our pizza to the wrong address and left it. When we complained to the restaurant they promised to make us new ones but instead the driver brought us the used pizzas that someone else may have contaminated. The restaurant agreed that we should throw them out but they never sent us the new pizza's. Also the pizzas they originally sent us were burned beyond recognition!!! Is this a joke???
