I've only been here for breakfast, usually at the drive through when they open at 6AM. They've always nailed my order and the staff has been shockingly friendly. I've had a couple experiences that had me driving away smiling, which is saying something for a cheap 6AM breakfast. This is fast food. It's exactly what you'd expect, but my orders have come up fast and, coupled with friendly service, this is one of my favorite locations. No clue what the lunch/dinner staff is like, but I'll be back for breakfast the next time I have to rush our the door. read more

This used to be one of the better McDonalds in terms of quality and speed. I don't know what happened, but this place has really gone down hill over the years. Waiting 15 minutes for a coffee is just too much. I could make a slow drip at home and save time. read more

The reason for the 1 star, and why I'll never visit this place again, is that Shortly after we got home my son came to me because there was weird blue stuff in his sundae. Do not eat here. I don't eat fast food, it's a treat a few times a year. First, a "large" fry is now a child/kids size fry in a small bag and they charge you the price of the original "large" in the cardboard container. Second, they made us park in the stall ahead of the drive through to wait for our food. When they brought it out, the fries were cold, and only 1/3 full in this poor excuse for a large fry bag. The 10 piece nugget tasted like dog food because they were old and stale/warmed by heat lamps. I sent my spouse inside with the bag of food to tell them they gave me a small fry when we paid for a large. They said "that's how the fries come now". Did not offer to give us an actual fry filled all the way up. No one acknowledged they served us cold old food. Serving old stale food and cutting portions by 1/4? Never eating here again. read more

It gets 4 because it's still McDonald's and they don't pay people enough but the issues they were having seemed to have been resolved well. They will still get busy and make mistakes but it's much better than it was in very recent past. read more

Thought the other review about the fries might have been a fluke but no - these pictures are two separate visits where I was given a small sized fries in a bag that says large. I do not comprehend why this McDonald's gets so much hate. For one, this has got to be the cleanest McDonald's I've been to in the Seattle metro. No homeless or vagrants or random people shouting. The service here is prompt, attentive, and courteous (for app orders -- can't speak for the kiosk) and I always get my food very very fast (a lot of other locations in Seattle proper should take a page from this franchisee). Never have gotten cold or old food from this location. Whenever I come in here for the occasional weekend breakfast or dinner to ruin my day's workout, the clientele are very chill and quiet (mix of older folks and couples). read more

Food is still pretty good - exactly what to expect. Playplace is nice and it's a clean restaurant. They lost two stars to me by taking away the free refills on drinks and the cups for water are no longer available. Now you're at the mercy of someone turning around to face the lobby every 5-10 minutes if you need a straw or a water cup. read more

Ordered a simple lunch via Uber eats & this TRASH was delivered. No where close to my order, CHICKEN, thrown together, & no drink. The wait was ridiculous (I'll give that to uber eats or whatever. But a SIMPLE quarter pounder with cheese should be an EASY order to follow for McDonals employees & now I waited well over an hour for a burger I HATE & will not be able to eat. Super stoked I spent $18 on the wrong food order and NO drink. GARBAGE. When I called the girl who answered the phone was a snot despite me trying to be polite. I'm shocked to be making a review about a McDonald's but this one stands out by far. I was shocked when I saw the employees! At least half were really OLD and they had disabilities. The real kicker is the younger employees were overseeing and guiding the older with patience and kindness. Example: A woman (80+) was cleaning tables with disfigured arthritic hands while a young woman was watching closely to ensure customers would get clean tables. She talked to the older woman like she was her grandmother! Wait. Could this have really been someone's grandmother?!? Instead of putting her in an old folks home, they sent her to work? Keeping her active will only make her life better and longer. AND she will collect social security longer. If the govt discovered this... They'd put an end to this! BTW: without a doubt the best food of any McDonald's. read more

Store is understaffed. Mens bathroom is unlocked, womens requires a code and they had to unlock it, would not give me the code. Couldn't order what we wanted at the kiosk because it is only on the big board. No one would wait on us. I feel weird writing a review about McDonald's, but I'd like to give credit where credit is due. I had come here to the drive thru a couple of times on my way to work. Back then I really noticed how different it was. It had the customer service feel of an In-N-Out or Chick Fil-A. Recently I stopped to eat inside and we had to come back a second time because my 3-year-old really wanted to go back to the playspace. This time we came back with my husband, who's pretty anti-Mc Donald's (the things we do to please our kids). This is by far one of the best McDonald's I have been to. The number one indicator for me? Happy employees. Everyone is happy and talkative. My husband heard an employee talking to someone who was probably a regular. The employee told the customer, "Well, it's been great talking to you. I have to get back to work. I hope to see you again. " The lady who was cleaning tables and emptying out the trash was talking to all the customers. She cautioned my son not to eat a French fry that he had picked up off the floor. I mean, I don't think of you went to any other fast food place they'd even bat an eye. She also talked to my husband and I, asking about our daughter. Basically, if you covered all the logos or came in here blindfolded, you probably would never guess you stepped into a McDonald's. My husband had some burgers with bacon on it and said it was the best bacon experience he has had at a fast-food restaurant. I like that there is a separate eating space right next to the play area. It is spacious and has good lighting. It also seems to be relatively new or very well kept. That's a huge plus for any kids area. I've been to a lot of pay to play areas and they are so freaking filthy and detoriarating. You don't even have to get up close to see the filth. So, kudos to whoever manages this location. Today I noticed there are no loitering signs and to consume your meal within 30 minutes. I first thought it was weird, but as a patron, I can appreciate that the management is doing their due diligence to make the dining experience is pleasant for everyone. I live up the street from a McDonald's that I vow to never go back to again, especially not with my kids. But this location, I'd return to for good food (the hamburger in my kid's Happy Meal looked like it came right out of a McDonald's ad) and great overall experience. Keep up the great work! read more

My child is an employee here and they have always come home with a horrible experience whenever their manager Lisha was on shift aka "British lady with tattoos". Lisha makes every shift stressful and is extremely rude to not only them but a lot of other employees my kid works with and Lisha is the reason most employees put in their 2-week notice. Some of the other managers are irresponsible, and very few are amazing that my kid loves to work with, like McDonald's general manager Kellie who they say is awesome. The whole evening-night crew affiliated is very sloppy with how they provide customer service and cause excessive drama. Drug addicts come into the store, but i can still imply that it's better than the rest of the other Seattle McDonald's. Please let this be an eye opener, Lisha has got to go, not only from my experience, but for my kid and their coworkers. read more

This place has really gone downhill fast. And given the fact that I only order unsweetened iced tea that is really saving something. 2 days in a row this week alone, their tea tasted like it was a day old, one day it took nearly 20 minutes to get said day old tasting tea. Today they were brewing tea so it wasn't available for me, I only find this out after I have paid and moved on to the 2nd window. I reluctantly take a diet coke and then ask if they are going to give me a refund (common practice when they don't have what you want). Morning female manager says nope. I ask if they're under new management or under staffed because I have had nothing but problems the past week (at this rate they're gonna turn into as bad a location as Northgate!) she just walks off and gets me my refund. The gal at the window was just left shaking her head in disbelief, along with me. I've been stopping for my morning iced tea for almost 10 years. Never been treated so shabbily by an employee at this location. I sure hope she isn't on this shift for long or I will have to wait until I make my first drop off to grab my tea at Sea/Tac. The only reason this gets two stars instead of one is because it's been recently remodeled. Also, the cashier was nice. HOWEVER, two out of three of my kids' apple packets had been opened/popped at the bottom. The place was DIRTY. The bathrooms needed to be scrubbed and booths were filthy. We came at a non-peak time.
