Semi-dried ketchup smear outside of the tableware

Their dine-in tableware is nasty. I'm not sure if they are washing them. The nuggets container gad ketchup or some kind of sauce outside AND INSIDE! They were semi dry, so I'm guessing that they don't even wash them.

Piece of glove found in our food.

Stopped by for a quick treat for the family tonight. 3 sundaes and a cone. Staff seemed preoccupied and unorganized. The reason for the 1 star, and why I'll never visit this place again, is that Shortly after we got home my son came to me because there was weird blue stuff in his sundae. Turns out it was latex glove. So unhygienic and gross. We won't be back and I am contacting the state board of health in the morning.

Do not eat here. I don't eat fast food, it's a treat a few times a year. First, a "large" fry is now a child/kids size fry in a small bag and they charge you the price of the original "large" in the cardboard container. Second, they made us park in the stall ahead of the drive through to wait for our food. When they brought it out, the fries were cold, and only 1/3 full in this poor excuse for a large fry bag. The 10 piece nugget tasted like dog food because they were old and stale/warmed by heat lamps. I sent my spouse inside with the bag of food to tell them they gave me a small fry when we paid for a large. They said "that's how the fries come now". Did not offer to give us an actual fry filled all the way up. No one acknowledged they served us cold old food. Serving old stale food and cutting portions by 1/4? Never eating here again.

"Large" fry

This location is going downhill. Thought the other review about the fries might have been a fluke but no - these pictures are two separate visits where I was given a small sized fries in a bag that says large. Also on the weekends they seem to only have one manager working her butt off. Doesn't McDonald's normally have a relief manager for the opening manager? Very poor ownership lately

Don't get the mini McFlurries. This is my second time getting one and the girl literally filled 1/2 of the cup, it was basically one scoop of ice cream. Waste of money.

I was waiting 20 minutes for a double cheeseburger,, just for my food to come out burnt I will never come here

My actual order

This is my 'go to' coffee shop in Edmonds. Great selection of coffee, other beverages and food…read more Plenty of free parking. I typically do a mobile order which is always ready by the time I get there, hot and delicious. They know my name and give friendly service. This wasn't always the case so kudos to the current manager. Occasionally I meet a friend there. It can get hard to hear when there are a lot of customers. They feature art by local artists on the walls.

In long This is part of my new regular tour of Edmonds coffee spots since I'm down here a time or two a week these days. Ladro has lots of fans and it's easy to see why, even if the smaller mom-and-pop places get higher rates around here. Ladro deserves credit for doing everything right. This is an older strip mall, probably built around the time that phrase was coined. Wide variety of businesses, wonky shapes and angles in the parking lot. Inside, there's the big coffee bar on one side, and tables and chairs over there. They have some merch for sale, including plenty of choices among their own house-roasted beans. Lots of blends, and even a few interesting-looking single-origin bags, too. Not any cheaper than the big premium roasters charge. I'd have to try some of the beans before I could say if that seems justified, but I bet it might be. You can order ahead, but not only did I choose to order manually, I went inside and looked the poor kids in the eye. They all seemed to enjoy each others' company, and their nice work environment translates into a nice ambiance for relaxing with a cup. I ordered chai lattes to go, and they were boiling hot and tasted like they were from a tea bag (not the sugar-bomb concentrate that some places use). I also had a brown butter scone that was great even at room temp. They didn't get overly chatty making the drinks, but they were definitely friendly, and everything was ready quickly. Nice kid clocking off for the day even held the door for me as we went out, given that my hands were full. Honestly, if you didn't know this was a chain (albeit a small, local one), you'd think this place existed simply to caffeinate locals in the neighborhood. Everything about it has that nice neighborly, next-door vibe. They don't have anything quirky about them, really, and that huge pastry case is definitely not filled by on-site bakeries at every location. But it all still FEELS like a friendly spot down the street from home. 2 coffees and a scone were about $20 before tip. Could be better, could be worse. I'd definitely come back.

In long I'm in this neighborhood regularly these days, and this might be the best of the coffee spots I've tried so far. They're right at Five Corners, and they probably crank all morning. In recent days I've certainly stolen parking from them after they close, 'cause they share the parking with two of the best restaurants in Edmonds. They're much bigger than the garden sheds you see as coffee spots sometimes. Probably room for a TV and an easy chair in there for when it's slow. They have the usual lineup of coffees, some teas, and what might be a pretty good pastry list, though I wasn't eating today. The kid working today was super warm and friendly in a pleasantly relaxed way. My Americano was ready in no time. Cost a few pennies more for 2 shots than some place, but the coffee tasted a fair bit better. Pretty chocolatey for black coffee. She had me out the door and on in my way before ya know it. Much as I like constantly trying new places, I might have to come back here--even before I run out of places to try.

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area

They've never let me down in the slightest in the 4+ years I've been ordering from them regularly, beginning with finding that their price for the Lavazza beans I crave was lower than the price that I found in the CoOp in Turin, Italy, which I discovered upon my return to the U.S. As the Yelp rating states, after the usual diligence I devote to quality and economy when I shop on site or online, "Woohoo! I will not be purchasing anything from them again but if you're going to, specially in higher quantities, be sure to ask them for the expiration date of the product before purchasing. I bought 200 espresso capsules to last me at least a few months while I traveled internationally. When I received the boxes I noticed that the capsules were going to expire in only 2 months. I reached out to the customer service team and asked if I could have the capsules exchanged with ones that would still be good for another few months and to my surprise, they denied my request. This is unacceptable and very frustrating. When a product is due to expire in less than 3 months, the least you can do is to note that in the description so that when someone wants to make a bulk purchase for any given reason, they can take that into consideration. I'm very disappointed and will not be purchasing again.
