Despite the busy night, our server checked on us regularly and was very personable, stopping to chat with us about the local sports scene. There's plenty to look at, inside and out. If you can snag a seat outside, you'll get to enjoy the waterfront. Inside, the decor is industrial but fun. Not sure if this runs all the time, but when we were there, the tvs were playing vintage beer ads, which was quite fun. They also sell some pretty good t-shirt designs. I really don't eat at McDonald's that often but today I was running late and stopped for a Susage McMuffin with Egg before work. I do special order it because I think English muffins should be crispy so I have them tost the muffin longer. Well, it really doesn't take that long to do or it shouldn't. After waiting in my car for 5 minutes from the time stamp on my receipt, I went in. The manager I spoke with just came on so was clueless. really everyone was pretty much clueless as to where my McMuffinn sandwich was. Seriously I just wanted a toasted muffin, it shouldn't have created the chaos that seemed to have happened. It took another 3 plus minutes for me to get my sandwich, which means they didnt' have it made until I walked in. So by the time I get back into my car, it had been a good 10 minutes form the time I paid for the order. So count in the fact that I was the third car in line to get my order means they suck. it was just a toasted muffin, come on now. I don't plan on going back anything soon that's for sure. If I thought it was going to take over 10 minutes for me to get breakfast, I would have taken the time to make it at home. Ended up late for work anyway. read more
