There is a bit of prep involved (I know, what?) with waiting for the yeast in the dough to rise for about an hour before baking, popping any bubbles in the crust during the actual baking, and rotating the thing halfway through baking for even heating -- BUT! In less than 20 minutes, you will be rewarded with a hearty meal for about the same amount of dough (yay, pun) it would cost for a lame, flimsy cardboard version from a fast food pizza chain. TIP: Save a little cheddar (bonus pun!) by signing up for their rewards program and Googling a coupon code to enter at checkout when ordering online. I wish I could recommend this place because it has everything in it to be successful except the young staff not following health code standards. Ordered a pepperoni pizza and the two young people who were there working both long brown hair all down while make the pizza and it going into the food .. I was hopeful I would not get a strand of hair in my food. Instead my pizza tasted like hairspray. Terrible taste. The one person also didn't change gloves after handling the ordering area. I thought that was bad too. I didn't bring the pizza back and complain I just wanted to advise that this is a violation of health code. I felt very sick afterwards. I wish I didn't get the pizza after I saw their hair all over the place and no gloves being changed. I found this place very unpleasant, unhealthy and being run unprofessional. Normally we love papa Murphy's but I guess being cute is better than having good food. The young lady has long brown hair down and in front of her face dragging all over our pizzas and god knows who else's. Thats nasty. You're in food your hair should be pulled up and back. As someone who used to work at a papa Murphy's I expect better from the company! The girl who rang us out also had no idea what she was doing and no one was helping her. Probably won't be going back due to this. I'll be surprised if we don't find a hair in our food. The staff was very quick and I only had to wait a few minutes before I walked out with my pizza ready to pop into the oven. They have 3 different crust options plus a new keto pizza with no crust, in a pan. Cool! You can order one of their regular pizzas or build your own. Totally customizable. I love it. What a huge disappointment. I pre-ordered from their internet site. They've apparently canceled use of the app. I'm a long time fan of Papa Murphy's pizza but this time was a real letdown. It started with attitude problems. When we went in to pick it up, we got an angry response of "well you just ordered it and it's not ready yet!" When we went back 15-20 minutes later it was practically thrown at us over the counter. No greeting, no "thank you," not a word. Let me make this clear . There were 3 employees that I saw. Not a word was uttered from ANY of them!!!! No acknowledgement... At ALL. There were no other customers so it wasn't because they were busy. The pizza was just thrown on the counter without a word. When we got home the problem got worse. The pizza wasn't prepared the way we ordered it. Half of it went uneaten. My biggest regret is that I added a tip when I pre-paid. I'll drive a little further and go to the other Papa Murphy's next time. What a shame. read more

I really hoped for a good pizza I could take home and cook. The sign said $10 pizza so I thought this will be great. As I talked to the nice young lady about my options I noticed one of the workers scratching his nose, then full on wiping it. He had on gloves but now his nose stuff was on the glove. He continued to spread the cheese on the pizza of the poor unsuspecting people yet to arrive at the store. I ordered my pizza determined to watch every step and was thinking to ask the young man to change his gloves. I got the total and gave her extra to cover the tip. She scoffed at me and said we don't take that here. I said "take what here" ? Cash she said, you can't use that because of Covid. Snot is ok but cash is not? I'm so confused. Funny part I'm from California never had Papa Murphy's and never heard of it either! Didn't realize all the pizzas are take and bake until I pulled up and saw all the signage ! LOL I will say it was pretty tasty ! A little too much cheese for us but next time I'll order light cheese ! Horrible experience. Almost burn my kitchen down. My fault for assuming that they would bake my pizza for me. I ordered 3 pizzas and they are raw. I have to come home, heat the over for 15 mins, cook the pizza for 20 mins. One of the 3 pizza turned, literally caught on fire because of the paper tray. The young lady working the counter was THE WORST! Maybe her dog died today, maybe she was born with the I'm too good for everyone gene. I set coupon on the counter and pointed to the Family size $4 off. She was bothered by the question of which crust is thick (original is the official name, duh - shame on me). She rang me up, I added a tip and as she crumpled my receipt I said "May I have my receipt? After looking at it I asked did you take my coupon off the total? Her response, wait for it...."You did not pass it to me." What? It's on the center of the counter staring at you after we discussed what size and I pointed at it. After being called on it she said the other employee would have my pizza ready and dismissed me with no discount or a way to fix her error. Go to this location if you love papa murphy pizza, but do not expect to be treated with any decency. BTW: I got the pizza home and was informed that this was not a thick crust.
