Went to Slice House on a Friday evening. Located in the food court at Green Valley Ranch, the table seating is not specific to the restaurants; but they were clean. We've eaten here a while back and previously had a good experience. Unfortunately, we must have ordered something different before. We got the Sicilian traditional pizza (pepperoni and sausage). The crust was burnt on the bottom, and ruined the taste of the pizza. The chocolate chip cookies tasted like they had been sitting in a refrigerator for too long. The best part of the meal was the fountain Mountain Dew. We threw the cookies out and gave away the slices that we didn't bite into. The staff was nice enough, but based on the food - we wouldn't recommend this place.

Located in the food court at the Green Valley Ranch Casino/Hotel. The slices are generous with no flop, and thin with excellent crispness. Crust had good crunch with above average taste. Every chosen slice is put back in the oven to be reheated . I ordered a cheese slice{ $6.50) and the cheese had a distinct tasty flavor. There are plenty of tables and chairs in the food court and the staff were all friendly and did a good job cranking out the orders. All in all, Slice House is a good place to try and definitely one that I'll keep in mind for a little treat/ snacking while in the casino.

Slice House is located in the food court of Green Valley Ranch casino on the side closest to the District entrance. Typical food court, so nothing to write home on ambiance. Service was friendly and prompt. Regarding the pizza, the quality is good, and the slice was sizable. I was bummed my slice came out lukewarm, but I also could have just as easily asked for it to be reheated. Overall, a serviceable pizza spot if you don't want to do the sit down Pizza Rock across the casino.

This is a 3-4pm rating, and I'll tell you why. Slice House by Tony Gemignani is a long-term fixture at the food court at the Green Valley Ranch casino. It has the same famous, world-renowned owner as nearby Pizza Rock, but in a fast-casual format. I was blissfully unaware of their daily discount until I was grabbing a snack nearby and looked it up on Yelp. Turns out that they have "Amazing Hour" at 3-4pm every day, where you can get a slice and a Pepsi fountain soda for just $6.00. So I did. And I picked the Detroit Rosa (normally $8.50), which was loaded with pepperoni and tomato sauce among other toppings. Unfortunately, the only positive was really the huge size and cheap price. The first problem is that it's incredibly salty, especially if you end up reheating it later for some reason (we'll get to this shortly). There is a lot of pepperoni on it, which generally feels like a good thing, but it's just so heavy. The second issue, almost as quickly noticed, is that the thicker areas with a lot of tomato sauce did not get reheated sufficiently. The slices are taken from the display, and mine came out with a lot of sauce basically still at room temp. This isn't acceptable in any context, and it led me to taking over half of the slice home for later to rescue in the air fryer. Lastly, the crust just doesn't seem as airy throughout as a nice Detroit-style pizza, particularly one from Pizza Rock, should be. It isn't that consistently crispy on the cheesy edges either, which is an essential characteristic of Detroit-style. I would say that for the specific hour starting at 3:00pm daily, Slice House is worth a shot for a cheap filling lunch or afternoon snack. Perhaps one of the other slices (Sicilian? Grandma style?) might not be subject to all of the issues which I encountered.

As usual..... No one available Even after me...no one available. 1 hour before closing. This place never fails with their reheated crap pizzas. Just wait and go to Pizza Rock

Located with Green Valley Ranch this pizza is to die for you can get it by a slice or order a whole pie. I usually get the picante today is my first time trying to Detroit Rosa, which is a deep dish from Detroit with basil and pepperoni.. I did not like this kind! At all. Way too thick and salty. Next time I will try the sweet Rosa. I think it's called ! this place is located within the food court you can grab a table or take it to go, customer service is pretty good. The workers seem to be knowledgeable. The ambience is a busy open atmosphere.

This is in the food court area and is a quick version of pizza rock. I am familiar with the brand from the slice shop in Thousand Oaks. Just went with a cheese and a beer for $10. You can't beat the deal and the slices are super fat. Don't forget to ask for the hot oil. Wish they had the bottles but they give you a nice little to go cup. I've had the Sicilian in Thousand Oaks and would strongly recommend. Super quick and the pizza comes out melt your mouth hot. My friend roasted the roof of his mouth like an amateur haha. Also they give you your beer in a brown bag which I love.

I've eaten at all the food court options here except for this one. Usually, if I want pizza, we head to Pizza Rock. However, I wanted a bit of a substantial snack but didn't want to sit for a meal. Pizza sounded amazing so we decided to grab a slice before heading back to our room and getting ready for dinner. The service was quick and efficient. I noticed that the people working here are always on the move or doing something. As a manager myself, I was really impressed by this. The place is decorated nicely and it's not novel but I love stacked pizza boxes. The display for the pizzas is nice and big and makes the pizzas look very appetizing. We ordered two slices of pepperoni Sicilians. They were very delicious, with nicely crisp pepperoni and soft, pillow-y dough. My only compliant is that both our slices tastes faintly of gas. I think that there might be something off in the oven but I was hungry and it was still yummy.

I get a couple of pizza slices every time I go to Green Valley Ranch Resort in Henderson. A little pricey, but one of my all time favorites. The crust is amazing, generous flavorful toppings, delicious sauce and friendly service. I wish they would open a location in Phoenix already!

Stopped at the food court today inside GVR. Tony's Slice House caught our attention. We noticed the employee wearing a Pizza Rock t- shirt. I had no idea both these restaurants were owned by Tony Gemignani! If your short on time and just want to grab a slice this is a great spot to do so. Tony's Slice House also offers daily specials. The Sicilian square slice was large & yum-o!

I wish I could move into Tony's slice house. Very good pizza by the slice. They have all different kinds of pizza on the menu, and usually I'd assume that means they do a little of everything and none of its great. But Tony defies the odds and his pizza tastes like a little triangular piece of new york here in Vegas.

A good choice if you're on the go. Pizza Rock has a better Detroit-style pizza. The NY slice is good, not amazing. Nice large slice! I appreciated the individual boxes for each slice.

But over time, they have become one of the worst in the area. The pizzas never have enough cheese or an uneven spread. There are always spots where the cheese is completely missing. Toppings are few and far between, missing pizza sauce, and I've ordered extra toppings multiple times and have never actually received the extras I paid for. It has been a huge disappointment. I have literally been inside the store when employees were yelling and cursing at each other. I have also walked in and been completely ignored for 10 to 15 minutes. I have experienced pickup wait times upwards of two hours. It is truly a mixed bag here. You never know what you're going to get with each order. Lately, the quality of the pizzas seems to have improved slightly. I am not sure if this is due to a change in management, but I really hope they address the ongoing issues sooner than later. One last thing... The last time I was there, I witnessed an employee using the squeeze bottle that holds liquid butter, moving bread bites around inside a pizza box. He would squeeze butter onto them and then move them around using the bottom of the bottle that had been sitting on the counter. It was disgusting to watch, knowing someone would be eating that food and there was nothing I could do about it. He was also not wearing gloves. Everyone in the store touches that squeeze bottle, and it gets moved around all day. That was just gross and showed a lack of care about basic hygiene. As it stands right now, I cannot recommend this location. I may give them another chance in the future and update my review if things improve. Not recommended.

We ordered the Tuscany pizza, and it was phenomenal -- loaded with sausage, pepperoni, bacon, Canadian bacon, mushrooms, onions, green peppers, and olives. It's basically like a supreme pizza on steroids, but so much better. The flavors were perfectly balanced, the toppings were generous and high-quality, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. What really sets this place apart is the care they put into the fundamentals: they make their dough and sauce completely in-house, and they even order their sausage straight from Chicago. You can absolutely taste the difference -- it's fresh, authentic, and miles ahead of your typical chain pizza. The crust had that perfect chew and char that only comes from real craftsmanship. Huge shoutout to Linda for the amazing service! She was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We went to the Winterfest Electric Parade (this follows a couple other events that already took place prior!) on a Friday night and there were no street vendors present; which of course leads everyone to want to purchase food and drinks from the businesses that line the parade route. This could have been easily miscommunicated by the people in charge of the parade simply not communicating to the local businesses what would be involved. Or it could have been lack of planning for the business. I am not sure - but my perception was the latter. We ordered online for pickup, and the order was never accepted by the restaurant. There is an option to shut it down so that it does not take orders if a business is too inundated. My husband went inside to check in with them and he said they were turning people away and not taking orders at all. They had said about 45-1 hour for our wait time. Two hours later and our pizza was finally ready. My husband about an hour in went to sit inside to be visible in case something is missed... for an hour he sat at a table without issue, in fact we joined him about 30 min in. As soon as we get our pizza and I set it down on the table, the cashier tells us that it's for dine in customers only and asked us to leave. WOW! There was no line of customers waiting to dine in, and there were tables open since people were outside watching the parade. We had already been sitting at the table with our son for an hour and couldn't just decide to dine in at that point after such a long wait? So disappointing. We took our pizza and ate it on the brick wall right outside their front door...minutes later the parade Santa passed and it was over. No one else came to the restaurant to dine in. Our order was wrong. We ordered for a specific topping on the entire pizza and for half to be with an additional. The one topping for half was on the whole and the topping for the whole was on half. It was not even worth it to get it corrected, we ate it as is and our son picked off what he did not like. (no pictures taken because we just wanted to eat) We have been to Water Street Pizzeria before on a non-event night and had a different experience than this. I just feel if a company is unable to handle a crowd like this than maybe closing for the night would be better than longer waits and poor customer service. There are so many events that happen on Water St; so I truly hope this night it was just an internal break down in their operation and not a normal unlearned situation that happens regularly. But all of this will have us think twice about eating here next time we are in the area.

Their patio has such an amazing view of the golf course in all directions...if only if it wasn't chilly and cloudy outside. Other food items included were the cowboy burger (unbelievably huge with giant pieces of bacon inside!) and chicken wings with blue cheese. Some of my friends tried the Bloody Mary, which included a celery stick and an olive inside. For me, I just stuck with water. They also have a "beer tower" available, which is basically a beer on tap that they bring to your table. Great for large parties!
