When I am in a group and the topic of best pizza comes up I have always said Pizza Rock (Slice House and the two restaurants). I have another favorite in town, it's also located in a food court at another Station Casino. It's sad to write this but Slice House is no longer one of my favorites, I cannot recommend it. The pizza is still good but the service sucks. CONSISTENTLY. The lady that works during the afternoon is always in a bad mood and takes it out on the customers. Not. Just. Me. I have seen it with others too. Never a smile, never a kind word. Makes me think does her employer treat her so bad that she passes it on to the customers? I have dismissed her rudeness at first as a bad day, then on subsequent visits, I had run out of excuses. Now I no longer feel like I want to spend my money at a business that lets this rude behavior go unchecked. On my most recent visit, I walked up and there was no one behind the counter. Happy hour had just started and I wanted to get a slice and a soda for $8. I looked at the offerings and waited. Then *she* emerged from the back. I know she saw me but she didn't acknowledge me (per usual). She did some things by the oven, still no acknowledgement. She then walked over to the register area and put up the sign about returning in 15 minutes. She walked back by the oven and towards the kitchen door, looked over her shoulder as she pushed the door and said she would be back on 10 minutes and disappeared. I felt dismissed. I get she might have been the only worker, but there is a better way to let your only customer know you have to excuse yourself. She could have acknowledged me when she came out initially, instead of doing things by the oven. She could have came over and said something instead of tossing me a dismissal as an afterthought. As I walked by later, I saw another customer standing by the pizza looking at her, waiting to be acknowledged. Slice House, you should send this employee to some kind of customer service training. Just sit in the food court and watch how she treats your customers. read more

Finally found the best pizza in Henderson, and it's located in a food court. Being from the Bay Area, we were already familiar with the Slice House in Walnut Creek and Tony G. It was a favorite of ours up there, where we would drive 30 mins for a slice. Here GVR is only a couple miles away, but rarely remember about it because it's in a food court and never comes up in Yelp searches. For the years we've been down here, we always assumed Pizza Rock was Tony G's best foot forward. We always like it but never craving it for some reason. Why would Slice House who serves their pies in Pizza Rock boxes be any different? I don't know but for some reason it's so much more satisfying. Maybe it's the no frills, whatever the case, they're serving top notch pizza here. I don't understand the 3.5 star rating when the pizza is elite, everything from the dough, to the sauce, to the signature pepperoni and pinched sausage is super high quality. It was so good I had to heat some up for breakfast! The kids loved the NY style cheese pizza. But the crown jewel to me was the pepperoni and sausage Sicilian -- it's a showstopper. Literally people were wowed when they opened the box to show us and making them second guess their own orders. The place was crowded too. I was worried the pizzas would be small since it says 20" for the NY, but they were both huge! Great quality and great value. By no means is this a 3.5 star pizza place and if people want to perceive it as so, more power to people who know. read more

Solid pizza place inside of green valley ranch hotel/casino...this is the walk up version of the actual restaurant also inside of GVR...slices are very good and there is a nice variety to choose from...they start at $6 and go to about $8 depending on the style you want...the slices are HUGE, really two slices in one...they are under a heat lamp but they do throw them into the oven after ordering to warm it up for you...service is friendly enough for the type of place that this is...definitely will return again and also will try the actual sit down restaurant which looks pretty nice...RECOMMEND read more

Went to Slice House on a Friday evening. Located in the food court at Green Valley Ranch, the table seating is not specific to the restaurants; but they were clean. We've eaten here a while back and previously had a good experience. Unfortunately, we must have ordered something different before. We got the Sicilian traditional pizza (pepperoni and sausage). The crust was burnt on the bottom, and ruined the taste of the pizza. The chocolate chip cookies tasted like they had been sitting in a refrigerator for too long. The best part of the meal was the fountain Mountain Dew. We threw the cookies out and gave away the slices that we didn't bite into. The staff was nice enough, but based on the food - we wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Located in the food court at the Green Valley Ranch Casino/Hotel. The slices are generous with no flop, and thin with excellent crispness. Crust had good crunch with above average taste. Every chosen slice is put back in the oven to be reheated . I ordered a cheese slice{ $6.50) and the cheese had a distinct tasty flavor. There are plenty of tables and chairs in the food court and the staff were all friendly and did a good job cranking out the orders. All in all, Slice House is a good place to try and definitely one that I'll keep in mind for a little treat/ snacking while in the casino. read more

Slice House is located in the food court of Green Valley Ranch casino on the side closest to the District entrance. Typical food court, so nothing to write home on ambiance. Service was friendly and prompt. Regarding the pizza, the quality is good, and the slice was sizable. I was bummed my slice came out lukewarm, but I also could have just as easily asked for it to be reheated. Overall, a serviceable pizza spot if you don't want to do the sit down Pizza Rock across the casino. read more

This is a 3-4pm rating, and I'll tell you why. Slice House by Tony Gemignani is a long-term fixture at the food court at the Green Valley Ranch casino. It has the same famous, world-renowned owner as nearby Pizza Rock, but in a fast-casual format. I was blissfully unaware of their daily discount until I was grabbing a snack nearby and looked it up on Yelp. Turns out that they have "Amazing Hour" at 3-4pm every day, where you can get a slice and a Pepsi fountain soda for just $6.00. So I did. And I picked the Detroit Rosa (normally $8.50), which was loaded with pepperoni and tomato sauce among other toppings. Unfortunately, the only positive was really the huge size and cheap price. The first problem is that it's incredibly salty, especially if you end up reheating it later for some reason (we'll get to this shortly). There is a lot of pepperoni on it, which generally feels like a good thing, but it's just so heavy. The second issue, almost as quickly noticed, is that the thicker areas with a lot of tomato sauce did not get reheated sufficiently. The slices are taken from the display, and mine came out with a lot of sauce basically still at room temp. This isn't acceptable in any context, and it led me to taking over half of the slice home for later to rescue in the air fryer. Lastly, the crust just doesn't seem as airy throughout as a nice Detroit-style pizza, particularly one from Pizza Rock, should be. It isn't that consistently crispy on the cheesy edges either, which is an essential characteristic of Detroit-style. I would say that for the specific hour starting at 3:00pm daily, Slice House is worth a shot for a cheap filling lunch or afternoon snack. Perhaps one of the other slices (Sicilian? Grandma style?) might not be subject to all of the issues which I encountered. read more

We came here on our first night in vegas we love slice house go to one in our home town all the time we came here ordered our food was told would take 25 min ended up waiting over an hour due to them burning the first one and not telling us but just saying oh it takes time in the oven we asked for a refund but was offered free stuff instead. read more

Located with Green Valley Ranch this pizza is to die for you can get it by a slice or order a whole pie. I usually get the picante today is my first time trying to Detroit Rosa, which is a deep dish from Detroit with basil and pepperoni.. I did not like this kind! At all. Way too thick and salty. Next time I will try the sweet Rosa. I think it's called ! this place is located within the food court you can grab a table or take it to go, customer service is pretty good. This is in the food court area and is a quick version of pizza rock. I am familiar with the brand from the slice shop in Thousand Oaks. Just went with a cheese and a beer for $10. You can't beat the deal and the slices are super fat. Don't forget to ask for the hot oil. Wish they had the bottles but they give you a nice little to go cup. I've had the Sicilian in Thousand Oaks and would strongly recommend. Super quick and the pizza comes out melt your mouth hot. My friend roasted the roof of his mouth like an amateur haha. I've eaten at all the food court options here except for this one. Usually, if I want pizza, we head to Pizza Rock. However, I wanted a bit of a substantial snack but didn't want to sit for a meal. Pizza sounded amazing so we decided to grab a slice before heading back to our room and getting ready for dinner. The service was quick and efficient. I noticed that the people working here are always on the move or doing something. As a manager myself, I was really impressed by this. The place is decorated nicely and it's not novel but I love stacked pizza boxes. The display for the pizzas is nice and big and makes the pizzas look very appetizing. We ordered two slices of pepperoni Sicilians. They were very delicious, with nicely crisp pepperoni and soft, pillow-y dough. My only compliant is that both our slices tastes faintly of gas. We stopped there to try their pizza. All the pizzas that were in the window looked old and dry. Our first instinct was "nope", but we decided to give it a try anyway. It's hard to mess up pizza! They messed it up. Completely burnt on the bottom, paper thin, dry, hard and crusty. This was the worst pizza we have ever had... no exaggeration. We'll never make that mistake again. I was really disappointed with my experience here. To make matters worse, the staff seemed uninterested and inattentive. It took forever for someone to take my order. When asked if they have their special Hot Honey Sauce they said they usually don't and gave a response that wasn't valid. We did come in New Year's Day and they weren't busy, no rush but the staff needs to be more patient, attentive and honest. Ended up not ordering. They have all different kinds of pizza on the menu, and usually I'd assume that means they do a little of everything and none of its great. The pizza was very flavorful and the potion size was more than adequate. Unlike other pizzerias, the pizza crust was cooked just right not burned or hard. The ingredients were fresh and the toppings were plentiful. Although, the crust was good It was thicker then I'm accustomed to and a bit Chewy. However, it was still tasty. Slice House at Green Valley Food Court is our family's go to place every Thursday afternoon. They have a daily special between 3pm-4pm. For $6 you get any slice of pizza plus a fountain drink. It's a nice size, hot, cheesy, delicious slice. We all (family of 4) prefer the plain cheese. It's an awesome deal. The staff is very friendly and efficient, especially Maria.
