I like Marcos I began eating their pizza in Alabama and was shocked to find that they are here on the West Coast, ordered a cheese pizza with barbecue wings and a salad, Marcos is a bit pricey, so it's best to take advantage of their specials. The pizza and the wings are very good, the salad not so. the lettuce was not crisp enough for me and it began to show rust or oxidation, I was really disappointed as I hadn't had a salad in ages. Worst pizza ever. I paid $16.95 plus tax for a 3-topping pizza. I asked for extra cheese, ham and sausage on a deep dish pan. First off, the pizza is EXTREMELY small compared to their competitors. The portions are also extremely stingy with no extra cheese in sight. And to top it off, u like dominos pizza where the toppings and pizza sauce practically go back to the edge of the pizza (meaning you ca literally eat the whole pizza with ease), about 30% of the Marcos pizza is literally non-edible pure crust! Several people walked in and picked up their order. Not knowing, my pizza came out and was placed in the wire rack. Another pizza came out about 5 mins later. Guy comes over and asked my name. Pulls the pizza that had been just sitting there. Pizza was a thicker style with light sauce. Pizza would be at the level of papa John's or domino's. Pizza was good overall as the pepperoni was decent. Why only 3 stars, they use canned or jar mushy mushrooms. Do not have pizza bowls delivered. We enjoy them because they are good for a low carb diet. But they are not in sealed containers. The open trays are often tipped or turned on their sides and all the liquid runs out and soaks the box. Finally got a chance to try Marco's pizza today. I ordered 2 medium one topping pizzas for pickup,one with jalapeños and one with Old style pepperoni. As soon as I walked in I was welcomed with a "hello welcome to Marco's, be right with you. The young lady washed her hands and greeted me at the counter she asked how my day was going so far and that my pizzas had a couple of minutes. She brought my pizzas to the counter and opened each box to sho me and they looked delicious and when I got them home the pizzas were a hit with the family. New restaurant in east Henderson. Threw out half the pizza. There was no sauce. It was cheese baked onto a soggy pizza crust. The crust either wasn't fully cooked or they just like spongy crusts. I got a one topping pizza and the topping was a vegetable so that shouldn't have affected it. Back to Bistro Pizza for me.
