If I wanted to go get a pizza I could just get one at the store. I haven't had a bad pizza or bad service on the phone or at my door from this place ever. As a matter of fact, this is the only pizza place that has never messed up an order yet for me. The big chain shops over here have all failed to the point where we don't use Donato's or Pizza Hut anymore due to quality issues at Donato's and order quality and management issues at Pizza Hut. The other places are constantly too greasy or too bland and no better than me baking one myself. For the review I read where they bash this as not being quality pizza, well this isn't the east coast or Chicago. The pizza standard here was set by Donato's and Massey's decades ago. I can drive across the city for a better pizza, but that defeats the purpose of getting delivery on snowy or rainy days. If any of you are old enough to remember the flavor of the crust from Donato's in the 80's thru 90's prior to their sale to McDonalds Corporation (briefly) the crust tastes like that. Now Donato's uses the frozen dough which is not the same or good.

I can tell you the meat is nothing more than unseasoned "steak-um" meat. There was no au jus sauce! I opened the sub to find lettuce and tomato which is nothing even in the description. I HiGHLY DO NOT recommend this place and should have looked at the reviews on other platforms and would not be so upset right now. I am going to share a picture of my disappointment

The covered patio is cute and we had it all to ourselves. There are TVs mounted and a small space for love music. We ordered a large pepp and sausage Sicilian crust pizza. My husband order a water and root beer. The water never came. He asked for a refill on his root beer, it came back with possibly cherry coke? The pizza was a 6/10. The crust was crispy, but the cheese either fell off when trying to take a piece from the pizza, or during a bite. The ambiance was a 10/10, but outside of that, the experience was fairly underwhelming.

Another guy was (I discovered later) waiting for a DoorDash. I ordered the Deluxe 9" pizza and 6 hot wings. I sat down to wait. Most of the tables had the chairs up even though closing time was 2 hours out. There was a tv in the corner, but I did not want to sit with my back to the door and counter. After 10 minutes someone came out and asked my name. She checked the completed orders on a rack and declared mine was not yet ready. Since no food had emerged from the kitchen, I was not surprised. Then a 3rd person exited the kitchen and announced a DoorDash and the other guy got up and took it. After a bit, another person came out and asked me what I was doing there, because she didn't know! I told her I had placed an order for takeout and gave my name. She declared my pizza to be not quite ready and returned to the kitchen. After 30 minutes had elapsed the 2nd person came out with my food. I asked for crushed red pepper and I was told, no we're out of that. When I got back to my hotel, which was now like a 40-minutes drive due to traffic and my original Waze detour, I dug into the wings. I planned to eat 2 and then try the pizza, but they were so messy I just crammed them all in my gullet and then washed my hands. They were great. Could have been a little spicier, but plenty of meat. Sauce dripping down my face and hands. The pizza was also really good, but I did miss the red pepper. I was full after 2 slices, but continued to eat while watching the college softball World Series. Overall the food was really good and I'd order from there again. Still a bit confused though as to the large number of people working there, with almost no food produced in the 40 minutes I sat there.
