The manager of this KFC is everything wrong with customer service these days. To start, she kept addressing me as "love" and "beautiful," which is condescending and inappropriate as she doesn't know me. I ordered an 8-piece family meal and a side of fries that cost $24. That's ridiculously high, but not the problem. When I got home I realized I was only given chicken-no sides. I called to make them aware of this and spoke to the manager who was the one that took my order. Without even hearing me out, she insisted I had the wrong location, then said I only asked for chicken (8 pieces of chicken for $24?? Why is it called a family MEAL?) and she kept talking over me to tell me why it was my fault that she got my order wrong. When I tried to break in, she told me to "check my tone" and "act like an adult." I'm a 54 -year-old woman, and my volume went up because she wouldn't stop talking down to me. Well my first complaint is with Yelp for not offering 1/2 and 1/4 star options for their review process, because this KFC deserves neither of those! So my friends and I order some food and the more we ordered the worse the attitudes got at KFC. So correct me if I'm wrong, but I was under the impression that they were in the food business! If they didn't want the business, they should close their doors around noon. If I owned this location, I'd look for a more inviting group of individuals to run my business! When someone orders food and it takes 35 minutes to received it, a nicer attitude would have prevailed when they finally completed the order! Instead, we went in to see if we could help chase down and kill the live chickens they couldn't! And instead of dropping the bags on the counter, as if we offended them with our order, an apology or a thank you would have been preferable! Needless to say, we won't be bothering them with any future orders! Our recommendation would be to wait until Monday - Saturday to chicken from better more appreciative business! Terrible system: we ordered a decent size order at 3pm for 5:45 pickup. We arrive at 5:40 and are not told "it'll be ready at 5:45" but instead "it doesn't show up in our system until 5:45". So now, we wait 35 minutes for it to be done, making us late and everyone cranky. Additionally, the staff was increasingly rude as we weren't told if we should wait for them to bring it out, or circle back in the drive through. On our third trip around, we asked if it was ready and got a snarky "of course it's ready" (remember, it's now 6:16pm) and we say "then why didn't you bring it out" and they say "well you're in the drive through now so you have to wait" (in a line with four orders ahead of us. WHY do we even try?? Still 1 star and we could give 0 stars this location deserves it. We understand they have lack of employees and the manager is often alone or doing everything for each order. They close dining and ordering at the counter so you have to go thru drive thru. The speaker is horrible and when they can't hear you, and you can't hear them, they think you are the one being rude. The manager even spoke over her employee working the drive thru and asked us to take our business somewhere else. We gave it a chance, and again this manager is rude. If you hate your job, go somewhere else. The franchisee needs to reconsider what is happening to this Westerville location. Westerville is better than this place. read more

The absolute worst restaurant experience I've ever had. The employees don't care at all for customer service or food quality. The manager complained to me the entire 20 minutes I was waiting for the order that I placed online (that they hadn't even started when I got there) about how she had to work for three hours by herself, and anything else should could think of to complain about. It was two hours before they closed, they had no biscuits, and prepared my food out of the containers they put them in to store them for the night. I watched them microwave all of my sides before putting them in the bag. When I got home, I found out they didn't even put gravy in the bag for the potatoes. Just tried the hot chicken and i really like it. Super crispy and the spices makes it really a hit. If you like spicy chicken you have to try. The service was fast and my order was correct which is a plus. Normally when u get fast food your order is wrong. To end this i am a fan of the hot chicken and will be back for more. read more

This place is terrible! They didn't give me two of the sides that I ordered and no biscuits that is suppose to come with the 16 piece and 4 side meal. The two sides I got had one little scoop of potatoes that we had to share between four people but was a 1-2 serving portion. The coleslaw was only filled alittle over half way. The pieces of chicken were little niblet pieces of chicken. I'll never go back there again!!! What a waste of money. I have debated writing this post but I am very upset about the service I received yesterday afternoon at our local KFC. I went to KFC around 4 pm and pulled in the drive through. There was a car ahead of me waiting to have their order taken. Sat There for about 10 minutes waiting and finally someone takes their order. During this time I can hear loud cussing and discusting language coming from inside the restaurant. I understand they might be stressed but having to hear it clear on the outside of the drive through means theyre saying it too loud for childrens ears. I pull in for my order to be taken and the guy never gave me my total so I just pulled ahead. I pay for my food and recieve my order. I get home to notice the crispy chicken appears like its been fried 3 times or it's days old. I didn't want to chance it. My mashed potatoes was only a spoon full drowned in gravy. My buiscut was hard as a hockey puck. I decided to return to get my money back and the guy running the drive through stated he could only do it if I came inside the store. I was really upset and didn't understand why he just couldn't give me my money back. He proceeded to call me names that I don't even want to repeat. I looked at the Google reviews and it seems this type of behavior is allowed at KFC in Westerville because it's been going on for years. If I could go below one star I would. Ordered a large order through the App - was given a time it would be available and paid for it. Showed up to get it, manager (we were told) came out of the locked door and told us they were closed for indoor service because they were short staffed. Told her we were just picking up the the order we had placed and paid for - she told us that it would not be made. When we asked why the App would accept the order she said because it is through the App - no other explanation or apology. When I asked for some form of evidence that she turned us away to show that we should be refunded she told us that is all on the App and not her. She then got into her car and smoked a cigarette. The only thing I do not get is how they waste money by bagging each order to go when we are eating in. This store has a management problem. Went in tonight, after sitting in Drive-Thru for 15 minutes and still not ordering, only to stand inside for another 15 minutes before I was able to order. The entire night shift hadn't shown up and they were scrambling. Having done my time in restaurant work, I can say that this is a manager issue. Then, I heard it. The female manager was rude to her staff - some of whom came in on their day off to cover those who failed to show up. She was condescending and berated them in front of myself and other employees, which is extremely unprofessional. "You're too slow" is not something you shout across the restaurant - especially to someone who went the extra mile to show up when it wasn't his shift. Once I finally ordered, I got my food relatively fast, but no sauce for our chicken strips or gravy for our mashed potatoes...Next time, I'll try the app but one more problem and I'll find somewhere else to go. read more

I have picked up a bucket of chicken 3 different times at this location and all 3 times I was disappointed. I always get the 12 piece bucket which comes with 3 breasts, 3 thighs, 3 legs and 3 wings, unfortunately I never came out with the correct pieces. Once I ended up with 6 chicken legs, 3 thighs and 3 wings. Second time 1 breast, 4 thighs, 3 legs, 4 wings. Third and final time 2 breasts, 3 thighs, 4 legs and 3 wings. I paid $22 just to get the chicken breasts ( dark meat buckets are MUCH cheaper) and each time never received the correct amount, rip off. I called them the first 2 times and they wanted me to come back in and they'd give me the correct order, but after getting home and sitting down with family for dinner who wants to take the food back?? That's just a pain in the butt. The third time I called to pretty much say I wouldn't be back because they just can't seem to get the breast count correct and the manager on duty pretty much called me a liar and said "Im sure your order was correct because our GM packed it", excuse me?? I offered to send her a picture but she wasn't interested, imagine that. It's a very frustrating situation and if any of you venture to this location you need to check your orders because I'd bet the majority are wrong! What do you get with an 8 piece you may wonder, well it should be 2 legs, 2 thighs, 2 wings and 2 breasts. What we got was 4 legs and 4 thighs. We do not eat those parts. We even asked the guy three times if we got every thing and he said yes each time. In addition, they have reduced the size of the "family" size sides. Supposed to feed four? Supposedly my hot wings would take 9 minutes to prepare being that they are 'cooked to order'. There were 2 cars ahead of me which both took roughly 5-7 minutes to get their food.
