This is what I received from Papa John's. Who made this pizza? This is not the standard that I am use to. One side of the pizza is thin crust and the other side is original crust. Pepperoni not spread out on the pizza. Neither were the tomatoes. Pizza was delivered warm. read more

I never have problems with Hwy 20's location. Then again, I always choose carry out because the ready time is quicker and the food is hot. Now I can say they stopped putting the garlic butter in the box. Not sure why but remember to requests it when you arrive. read more

After waiting for 1 hr 20 minutes I called to checked the status of our delivery. They said they had no record of the order so it must be out with the driver. When I asked how that worked I was transferred to the rude manager telling me I never placed an order. Even with the order number. A bnew order would have take 1 hr 45min. This is by far the worst Papa John's! We always get the same thing every time it's not hard or a complicated order pan pepperoni pizza and when my husband pick our order up it was not correct when I went back to get it fixed the manager put up a fight with me. Had the pizza remade the correct way I then showed the difference in the two he still wanted to put up a fight with me over it saying they were the same.. it was clear as day the only thing that's the same is that they had pepperoni. Just had my second bad experience with this place. Previous time they messed up the order and credited us a free pizza. This time I called in and ordered a pizza, an hour later still no pizza. We called back to inquire as to why we didn't have our pizza yet, and were told we placed a future order. No we didnt. Someone messed that up. After holding for 5 minutes for a manager the same employee gets on the phone and stated that our pizza would be free and was on its way. At this point I'm angry but hey they are fixing it. 40 minutes later still no pizza. Seriously. I will never order from these incompetent individuals again. I am a customer service fanatic...excellent service I will boast about, poor service I will warn about. This review is for the later. This establishment is always late...like a good hour-hour and a half late. The website says 30-40 minutes. I would recommend Marco's Pizza on Joneboro Road in McDonough as they are quicker, the pizza is more authentic and extremely tasty. Just a thought to save you the hassle. read more

Iam a big eater and usually crush 3/4 of a large pizza by myself. My favorite cheap pizza is papa johns but last night we tried the new pan pizza. I put 4 slices on my plate to start. The first bite was gummy but the closer I moved to the outside the more it tasted like raw dough. Gagged twice on the first piece and threw the rest away. This location on Hwy. 20 in McDonough has VERY bad customer service. I have two empty pizzas boxes in the trash from this location which were delivered. Now the store (Andrew) says they don't deliver here. Wrong! Andrew was very unpolite on the phone. He wanted to argue with me which I will not have anything to do with. I order papa johns atleast 3 times a month from this location and I ALWAYS SPECIFICALLY request 3 extra garlics & I let them know everytime when I call that they ALWAYS forget my garlics. So I just called & ordered my pizza & reminded the woman I the phone that they always forget my garlics to make sure to put a note in their computer for my name & address that I will need 3 extra garlics & she said she would, well the pizza was just delivered & after they left, I opened it & there are no sauces whatsoever. I had to call and let them know that they forgot my garlics AGAIN so they are having a delivery driver bring them to me. And they always charge extra for extra sauce but they NEVER give it to you. I wish I could 0 stars. They are ALWAYS LATE. I'm right down the road from them and they always end up being 30-45 minutes late. I've been told TWICE (on two different orders) by the manager John I would get my refund back because both times my order was incorrect and almost 2 hours late. I never once received my refunds and when I call back I get nothing. Hung up on. John then told me that he would apply the credits to my account but what's so funny is I know someone that works there and my friend said "oh no we're not allowed to do that. The stores can't add any credits or money to your PJ account." I always leaves reviews (on the emails they send out after every order) that I want to be contacted about my horrible experience and THEY NEVER CALL! I always order online and I have all my receipts, I guess my next step is corporate if they want to take 5 minutes of their time to reach out to me, hopefully corporate will be able to help me. I will NEVER order from here again. Save your money and go somewhere else. Shit a frozen pizza from Publix would taste better than this location. And at least when you cut it it'll be right. This is really terrible pizza place. My last two orders took in excess of 1.5 hours to get delivered and arrived luke warm at best. I only live 5 minutes from this store. When I gave feedback about each experience I received an email from the Director of Operations crediting my account a free pizza for the poor service, both times. When I called the store to redeem one of them I was told that I didn't have any credits. Not only do they have the worst service, but upper management lies to you on top of that. I for one will never support any Papa Johns. I can't support a company where upper management lies directly to it's customers. I'm sure that I'm not the only one that experienced this so I look forward to this place shutting down soon. Hopefully it will be another good pizza place that cares about it's customers and it's business. read more
