They had not yet started on our order and it was in queue behind others. In their defense, it was a Friday evening and the restaurant was jumping! I witnessed other people coming in and being told the wait would be about an hour for their to go order. So, I entertained my children as best as possible while we just sat and waited. In general, I like Tony's pizza, salad, wings, cheesesteaks and fries. I think it's a great option...but I'd call them to double check if ever ordering thru DoorDash again.

But then the Door Dashers came in after me and they all got in front pass me to the counter and the same guy behind the counter helped them with separate orders. Then, a waitress came to the counter and told a woman behind me to come to the counter to pay for her food, but never acknowledged me either. After 10 mins of standing and about 5 people jumping in front of me and no acknowledgement... I turned around and started to leave. Tonight we all ordered slices of pizza (5 of us in the group) and of course a couple of pitchers of beer. All of our pizzas were dried out, not a lot of toppings and large areas with no toppings at all (bubbles in the dough). This was our first time back in a couple of months because the food quality had already been going down on our last couple of visits. Tonight was just awful. Bad thing too cause we brought my sister for her first time and she was not at all impressed. I hate this because they used to be SO good. Service is about the same as it's always been (so-so) and we love the restaurant itself but I'm not sure if we will be coming back. It's just not worth $50+ for 2 people when the food quality is so disappointing. We noticed too that a lot of other Tuesday night regulars weren't there tonight. Wonder if they have been experiencing the same sad food. We will wait another month or so and maybe try again. I used to eat here a long time ago as a Conyers resident and recently stopped in on my way back to Madison from the airport. Now it is a regular stop when we've been anywhere West on I-20. Love the deep dish pizza, simple but good salad and hot wings. Haven't had a Gyro from here in roughly 30 years, but they still look good. Might try that next time. And great service every visit too.
