I've only been there once but enjoyed three different flavors of wings (BBQ, Garlic Parmesan, and Medium Spicy), Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, and their favorite Davinci's Classico Pizza and enjoyed them all. Nice bar seating, fun atmosphere, great service, and great food. Will be going there again. Kudos to you Davinci's! read more

Davinci's New York Style Pizza is the furthest from the truth, it was not a New York Style Pizza at all! There wasn't any taste to the pizza from the cheese and toppings to the crust were all tasteless... I took two bites and left the rest! There was a chlorinated smell in the restaurant, the air was muggy and poor service on top of it all. I believe Leonardo da Vinci would have invented a better pizzeria! read more

This was supposed to be a Ny Style pizza. Well, being from there my expectations are high, especially if this is your claim. There was no consistency with the pizza or maybe they don't know what a crispy pie looks like. And the fries look like they were soaked in oil for hours... I would rather eat Pappa John's and I HATE HATE HATE PAPPA JOHNS... read more

My family and I truly recommend this place! It has great pizza are go to is cheese and sausage n cheese, the wings are very flavorful especially the hot honey wings. The service has been impeccable, beer drinkers here and their special attention in making sure we are served frosted mugs with ice cold beer. The place is a family style pizza place, with most nights having a fun theme night. The owner makes it a point to check in on all its patrons' food and service. Never a disappointment, since new owner established! Our go to 1x a week for pizza wings beer! Support your local business! read more

Davinci's NY Style Pizza - Another Sunday at Divincis Pizza with the family. Amazing food and the staff is outstanding. - Pizza Near Me - Mcdonough, Georgia

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. This spot has the nerve to claim they serve "New York Style" pizza -- but this ain't even close. I'm from New York. I know what real NY pizza tastes like. This? This is a disrespectful, doughy, flavorless fraud. Let's start with the crust. It's thick, dry, and has the texture of stale cardboard. A real New York slice is thin, crisp, and folds without snapping in half. This crust crumbles like it gave up halfway through. The marinara? Don't even get me started. Tastes like watered-down ketchup with a pinch of sugar and no soul. Absolutely no garlic, no herbs, no depth -- nothing that even resembles a proper NY pie. And then I find out the owner is from Chicago?! Explains everything. Stick to deep dish if that's your thing, but don't come into the pizza game pretending you're repping the city that never sleeps. This place is a scam with cheese on top. Save your money. Save your taste buds. This ain't it. read more

Went yesterday for father's day... the food was AMAZING.. service was the best. Great selection of beer on tap. I wish I would have not stuffed myself so I could have tried more of the choices! =0 - - Played Keno and won $10 - Hey it was all in all a great time! Thanks Davinci's! read more

Very lovely place to go with great service. It looks like a cute little local dive. I went for lunch but I can see this place getting busy in the evenings. It's like watching 'Cheers' live in action. The food and sweet tea were yummy and although I didn't have any, their dessert selection looked good. I'd go back again for sure. read more

Great service and tonight they had live music The pizza was good but it might have been a little heavy handed on the seasoning. The calzone was great. Big and just enough toppings. Wings were ok Honestly I would def go back especially because of the level of service. Food came out quick and everything was hot. read more

Great pizza. Key lime "OMG" perfect. I've only ordered take out. Service has been great each time.

We used to love this place. It used to be busy. That's not the case anymore. They have a new owner. First of all, I got my food and it took about ten minutes before my husband got his. My Philly Cheesesteak had no flavor. It tasted like they browned some ground beef and threw it on a hoagie. I knew when I took one look at the fries, they would not be good, but had to try them anyway. YUCK! My husband got lemon pepper wings that were just wings, as they had hardly any lemon pepper taste and no juice - very dry! But here's the WORSE PART: When we were done, the owner came to the table and asked how it was. As soon as I told him it wasn't good, he got an attitude! He said "what's the problem"? So I told him the fries were not good. He got all defensive and said they made them fresh there so I said, well then you need to change the grease. He smarted back that the grease was only 2 days old. I told him we would not be back and he walked off. Now I know why there only 3 customers there on a Sunday at 1:00. I got home with a very upset stomach and decided to google their health score. Well, if I wasn't already sick, I would be now. They got a 60. If I had known that prior, we would've never eaten there. So disappointing cause we used to love this place but the new owner needs to learn how to run a restaurant and more importantly, how to talk to customers. read more

Consider this place a rip off. We should have taken the hint when we walked inside and absolutely no one was in there but us. Now the food it's self was sub-par. However, the service was a joke itself. The waiting time between everything was ridiculous, we were the only ones inside the restaurant. Between my husband and I, we had a large pizza, a slice of pizza, two regular drinks, a beer, a side salad, and an app. Guess how much this was???? $70 FUXXIN DOLLARS. Insane. We will NOT be coming back to this place ever again. Do not waste your time or money. read more

96 Current Health Score - Thumbs up! Service was super friendly, though a tad bit slow and the food was good, but not great. Mostly middle of the road across the board, but that's not a bad thing...Most places/things are middle of the road and it would have taken A LOT for me to rate them below a "3". A little room for growth, but TONS of room before they fall off the cliff. read more

I have eaten here several times while traveling through Georgia (as it's conveniently located to a hotel I stay at) and I have always enjoyed my meals here. I usually order the pizza (the Classico is my favorite) and while it's not the best pizza I have ever had, it's still pretty good and I enjoy it every time. I did recently try the baked ziti and it was delicious (as was the garlic bread served with it). The fried mushrooms are a great appetizer as well. read more

Ahh!! The quest for good NY pizza continues. Everybody wants to use the New York name on their pizza place but nobody wants to follow the rules that the creation of a good New York pizza is built on. Let's deconstruct what makes a good New York pizza. Good New York pizza = A good dough. Must use a good Italian semolina flour....the texture of the crust must be a little crunchy underneath and soft on the top. And the dough must be stretched big enough so that the slices are big and can be folded. A good flavorful sauce and fresh ingredients. We ordered the large supremo pizza for our first visit. The good: Good fresh ingredients and a flavorful sauce. Nice waiter, thank you Corey you were great. The bad: The crust had the texture of a cardboard box, very stiff and falls apart when you attempt to fold the slice in half. So now we are eating nice fresh ingredients on a hard crust that nowhere near resembles any New York pizza from my days growing up in Brooklyn. But just like a lot of things in a southern state....they can get away with these things because a lot of people don't know any better. Had it not been for the bad crust and the long wait time to get our pizza this would have been a 3 1/2 star review. To go orders should not come before customers who are eating their meal in the restaurant! Really was not worth the extra time driving to Mcdonough, we could have gotten a similar pizza (slightly better crust) at Johnny's New York style pizza in Stockbridge. Really nothing great here to come back for. read more

Good price for absolutely delicious pizza! The garlic bread was perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The pizza was so good, and they didn't go skimpy on the cheese. Good waitress, and good dining! read more

Good pizza! Fast service! We've ordered take out and went inside and each time has been a great experience.

When I review places, I try to review them for what they are, where they are. Put Davinci's in NY and my rating changes. Put it in McDonough, Georgia, and it gets 5 stars. I'll stick to my usual approach and break down my review into various components - food (quality/quantity/temp), service, price, and environment. These each have various weightings in my quirky system that I could not explain to you if you asked. Actually I could but it would take a while. Food - 4-ish. fries were very good - hot, slightly cripsy, and lots of them for less than $3. Why fries? Ask my kooky wife. Eggplant parm - not bad. bread was surprisingly good. It was hot. As far as temp goes, everything gets a 5 - the salad was cold (not iced), the hot foods were hot and the drinks were cold. The pizza was hot but not spectacular. Price - for $22 bucks, we got a lot, and I mean a lot. We had a big small Greek salad, 2 orders of fries (again, please don't ask), a slice of mushroom pizza, a drink, and an eggplant parm sandwich. Really not bad. Environment - it was trivia night. Oh yeah, so are Tuesday, Wednesday, and maybe more. The trivia was abnormally loud. The MC was practically yelling. I'm from NJ and frankly loud doesn't bother me. This was well beyond loud. Stop yelling - PLEASE. Otherwise, it was comfortable. Everyone seemed to enjoy the place so they get a good mark here. I saved the best for last. Greeted the second we walked in the door with "sit where you'd like." It was fine in a weird way. Now, on to the good stuff and that made this experience really shine (I saw someone else agreed with me and mentioned him). This kid is good. I mean REALLY good. My wife agreed (and she's a big pain in the tuchas (ok yes, I'm from New Jersey)). He was SUPER polite but not phony. He was there when he should have been and left us alone when he should have. He showed up with the check at exactly the right time with offers of drinks to go. He didn't beg for tips like so many do (I decided to leave ~35% because he was that good). He was honest, cool, and worth asking for. Good job, Kevin. I hope the owners/manager pay attention and do what they need to in order to keep this kid. read more

Pizza was a let down for me, was doughy like It needed another 5 in the oven, sauce was sweeter, not as much acidity as I would like from more paste, staff was excellent but pizza fell flat- random sprinkles of dried herbs on the top didn't enhance the flavor for me read more

The pizza is delicious here. They make it fresh to order and it tastes great. I also like the wings and fries. The wings must be a popular commodity, because I dined in on a Tuesday and they were out during their trivia night. BUMMER! I ended up getting the pizza with meats and veggies. It took a while for the food to come out, but we were not disappointed. You can order a basket of fries or a half basket. I recommend the side as is if you are sharing, because it is more than enough. I really like the mild wings. I had them my first time there, and was sold on coming back. This location has good food, and people seemed to get a hit out of the trivia night too. The service is usually good overall. The waitress that we had was nice but a tad bit forgetful. I would come back again definitely. My son loved his pepperoni pizza. read more

Short one - For the area it's not a bad choice. I'm strictly speaking from having been able to have the opportunity to have Fellini's / Enzo's and Antico's pizza. Which is what I am measuring up to for this pizza place if I already sound like a pizza snob. Toppings wise, they are pretty generous. Even willing to "let you have at it" when making your own. Slices for a medium come about to 6 slices. So enough to feed two men with, but nay on more than that. Crust, kind of feels like a pan pizza almost. Not really a thin crust I think. Overall, it's not a bad pizza, nor a great one. PBR specials are $2 for draft pints. TV's aren't mounted easily for the whole restaurant to view. One being tucked up behind the bar and the other at the high corner near the left front entrance to the patio. read more

I'm sucker authentic meals this was good but missing something not sure if it was the sauce that was too bland and not rich but I got the baked ziti which I'm used to having with just cheeses but the cut up sausage was a nice surprise gave it some flavor. Ordered a few slices of cheese for myself and another person and 2 sodas to go. The soda comes in pretty small styrofoam cups filled mostly with ice. The guy taking my order doesn't tell me that it will take a while for slices, or anything along those lines. At least give me a heads up. So we wait and wait, and finish our sodas waiting for these slices of cheese. The place looked sketch that night, with dirty bathrooms and people poker gambling on couple tables. The cheese pizza came. It was sloppy, disgusting with an excessive amount of cheese (not in a good way) and smelled weird. My friend's stomach hurt afterward. It was hands down the worst pizza I've had all year. read more
