Pic 2 of my thrown together sub. Those veggies are stuck to the top.

I would have given 0 if I could. Everybody is a "Manager". Here is a pic of my sub... nuff said! The "General Manager" (Shay) was clueless about how to handle a late order that was thrown together as shown. Then her "District Manager" (Tiffany) followed up with the same attitude and I don't care messaging. Their response to make it right... remake or refund, which requires me to come back after attempting to ask for that 3 times before and they left me waiting over an hour (combined) as they scrambled around inside the store trying to throw people's orders together. No coupons, drink, or apology even offered. What pizza location has their GM and District Manager onsite on a Friday night at 10pm; really??? This place is beyond a joke! If so, I can't imagine the position their business must be in to warrant such targeted support. With all of their expertise in mind, neither of the "Managers" knew enough about customer service to ask me the (customer) what would it take to make it right nor did they attempt to reassure me that I was a valued customer. No offer for a $2off or even 2cent off coupon or anything to make it right. However, the "GM" tried to accuse me of wanting something for free and I quickly let her know that I absolutely did not want anything free. I just wanted a courteous response that took into account the 3 times prior that I waited for them to make it right without a response. Only getting my money back with no type of acknowledgement of their error simply gives me back what I brought to the table and leaves my time and effort at a loss. Long story short, I left my home again and went back to get a refund and took my business elsewhere. Fyi... Neither "Manager" made themselves available when I returned. This place isn't worth your time or money. Your hard earned money and peace of mind are worth so much more. Don't buy from this place!

Disgusting dominoes pizza

I would give it 0 stars if possible. Absolutely unacceptable to deliver a pizza like this. I also reached out to management and received no response back. Forewarning, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS LOCATION!

I ordered my pizza at around 1:18 & check to see that quality check was being performed at 1:29 it's literally 4:00 & still no pizzza. I called back numerous times only to be lied to by so called manager Michelle this is ridiculous- Shut this place down 4/26/2023

I am BAFFLED! At the service I received tonight! From this location. I dealt with De'Jenee, who on the first phone call I called 45 minutes AFTER I placed my order asking for an update. She then said it would be another HOUR before they even STARTED! I asked for a manager she laughed and told me no and hung up on me! Then I called back and I said I want a manager NOW and she said "who the f*ck do you think you're talking to?" And when I told her it was still her she said "no but who the f*ck do you think you're talking to?" And then I called back AGAIN and she said I wasn't getting a fu*king manager or a refund when I asked for both because I didn't trust her to do one, and she hung up AGAIN! Then when we drove TO THE STORE, mind you an hour and a HALF AFTER we placed our order, and finally receive a call, that is taken over by jasmine, the manager. Who stood up for her employee and just said well we're busy so I get it. Excuse me! And then still said it would be over an over for them to begin our food. I am BAFFLED. I am ASTONISHED. I can NOT BELIEVE the customer service I received tonight! She offered NO resolutions whatsoever and no end in sight to the TERRIBLE employee!

When it comes to delivery pizza, the online ordering can't be beat! Super fast and the pizza tracker is a really neat function. The driver is always very friendly. As for the food, it has been great the last 3 times we ordered from here. Fresh ingredients and actually put together with care. When it comes to Pizza Night... Dominos for the win.

No sauce, dry cold dough and no cheese. Trashed it.

Took over 2 hours for cold pizza. Never again. I was told by 3 different employees the pizza was enroute. I canceled and then it arrives.

We were out driving around, the kids were hungry, and we were close by, so we stopped in. My middle grandson could eat pizza every day. We started with fried pickles, and the breading on them was delicious. We also got garlic bread, and it was dripping with so much butter and garlic. I could have eaten that for lunch by itself--just wow. I got a Greek salad and baked ziti, and oh my gosh, it was so delicious. The kids got a cheese pizza, and my granddaughter, who isn't usually that wild about pizza, couldn't stop eating it. They finished the entire pie. I don't know why I haven't been here more often, but I will definitely be going back and recommending them to everyone.

Thank goodness I ordered additional bread, as the bread was the best part of my meal. The pasta was bland and the sauce had an odd taste. I would not order again and probably will not order from the restaurant again either.

Well the last few times we have been the game has been fun but the food has left a lot to be desired. Tonight we all ordered slices of pizza (5 of us in the group) and of course a couple of pitchers of beer. All of our pizzas were dried out, not a lot of toppings and large areas with no toppings at all (bubbles in the dough). This was our first time back in a couple of months because the food quality had already been going down on our last couple of visits. Tonight was just awful. Bad thing too cause we brought my sister for her first time and she was not at all impressed. I hate this because they used to be SO good. Service is about the same as it's always been (so-so) and we love the restaurant itself but I'm not sure if we will be coming back. It's just not worth $50+ for 2 people when the food quality is so disappointing. We noticed too that a lot of other Tuesday night regulars weren't there tonight. Wonder if they have been experiencing the same sad food. We will wait another month or so and maybe try again. It's really sad though when our other trivia spot is a bar and they have better food........

Simple order... but executed the right way. Let me start with the pizza, because that's the headline. That crust? Straight up made with love. Crispy on the outside with that perfect golden finish, but still soft with just the right bounce on the inside. Flavor was on point--nothing bland, nothing overdone. You can tell whoever was on the oven knew exactly what they were doing. Hats off to the cook for that one. The cheese pizza kept it clean and classic--melty, well-balanced, and let that crust shine. The pepperoni had a nice crisp on the edges with a little grease pop, exactly how you want it. Now, everything else? Solid. The garlic knots were soft and buttery with good garlic flavor--not overpowering, just right. The cheese breadsticks came out hot, loaded, and satisfying--definitely a good add-on to the order. I grabbed my food to go, but had a few minutes to look around while I waited. The spot has that laid-back, local pizza shop feel--nothing fancy, just real, comfortable, and focused on the food. You can tell it's a place people come back to. Final verdict: If you're in McDonough and want a legit New York-style pizza experience, Johnny's delivers--especially on that crust. That alone makes it worth the stop.

Unfortunately, after the way this situation was handled, I will not be returning. I placed and paid for an order online. When my husband picked up the pizzas, he was charged again at the store for the same order. I understand that mistakes happen, but what matters is how a business responds when a mistake is brought to their attention. The next day, I went in person to address the issue and was told the manager was not there. I then called for the next two days and was told I would receive a call back, which never happened. After receiving no response, I returned in person with my bank statements showing the duplicate charges. Instead of taking responsibility or even attempting to resolve the issue, I was told it did not happen and was refused a refund. That is unacceptable. A loyal customer should not have to chase a business for days, provide proof, and still be dismissed. This was not about the amount of money. This was about integrity, accountability, and basic customer service. The previous ownership would have made this right without hesitation. Sadly, that is clearly not the standard anymore. Word of mouth is one of the most powerful forms of advertisement, and I will make sure people know about my experience. I strongly caution anyone considering ordering from this location. Check your receipts, check your bank statements, and do not assume that a mistake will be corrected. Based on my experience, loyalty and proof meant nothing.

My partner is originally from New York, I'm originally from Connecticut, and we are both very fussy about pizza. We are the kind of people who will drive an hour from Conyers just to get a pizza here, with no other errands attached. That alone should tell you everything. We usually get a huge pepperoni pie and share it. They do have slices, and the slices are excellent too, but I recommend getting the whole pie if you can. Every pizza we have had here has been picture-perfect. Perfect crust, perfect sauce, perfect cheese, properly cooked toppings, and that real New York-style balance of crispy, chewy, melty, slightly floppy, and dangerously hot. The crust has the right crisp and chew. The sauce is flavorful without being too much. The cheese has that classic low-moisture mozzarella richness, and it is seasoned beautifully before baking. That is one of those details a lot of places miss. Up north, the cheese is not just bland melted cheese sitting there doing nothing. It has flavor. It has oregano. It has seasoning. It has personality. I Love New York Pizza gets that right. The first time we went, the owner was there, the family was there, and people were speaking Italian behind the counter. Then I saw the case full of slices and immediately thought, "Okay, we are safe. We are in good hands." You can tell just by looking at the pizza that it is right. Is this the greatest New York pizza you will ever have in your life? Maybe not. Is it possibly the best New York-style pizza you are going to get in this area? Absolutely. To me, it tastes like the kind of standard, classic, universally enjoyable New York pizza you would bring someone to for their first real slice experience. We almost always dine in, and there is always enough to take leftovers home. The staff is great, the service is great, the timing is great, and the consistency is honestly impressive. We drive an hour hoping to get the same perfect pizza we had last time, and they deliver every time. I will be honest: I come here for the pizza. I do not really care for the garlic knots, and I have not been especially attached to the non-pizza items I have tried. But if you have a serious up-north pizza craving, that does not matter. Get the pizza. Get the whole pie. Let it set for a minute if you have the patience, because it comes out burning hot. Or risk it all and burn your mouth on the first bite like I sometimes do. Worth it. I Love New York Pizza is the spot. Picky Northerner approved.
