My family and I went to celebrate two birthdays and everything was going great as usual until I got my order of Baby Clams in White Wine Sauce. The first thing that I noticed was a lot less claims than I receive on previous visits. When I tasted it my second thought was, this wasn't the same chief. The meal was almost too salty to eat. I mentioned it to the waitress and she told the chef and the managers. I noticed two of the managers discussing my issue and here's where the biggest problem starts. No one, not the chef , nor either manager addressed me for an apology or anything . I WAS NOT SEEKING A REFUND OR A DISCOUNT, I just wanted to make sure they addressed the matter. Never happened. I was very disappointed . My families meals were on point for the most part and that's all that matters. I still gave the a 4 star !

From the appetizers all the way through dessert, we had a great experience. We started the table off with the risotto balls, fried calamari, and the fried mix plate, along with the complimentary bread they bring to the table. Having several appetizers to pass around was perfect for a group our size and gave everyone a chance to try a little bit of everything before the entrées arrived. For dinner, our table had several different dishes, including the Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Parmigiana, and Combination Plate. The portions were generous, the pasta was plentiful, and both parmigiana dishes came covered with a rich tomato sauce and plenty of melted, nicely browned cheese. This is definitely the type of Italian food you come hungry for! I also finished things off with a cappuccino, which was hot, creamy, frothy, and topped with cinnamon the perfect way to end a big Italian meal. Since we were there for my daughter's birthday, they brought out their fried pizza dough tossed in cinnamon and sugar and drizzled with chocolate syrup. It was warm, crispy, sweet, and something different from the typical birthday dessert. It was also perfect for passing around the table and sharing with everyone. A special mention has to go to our server. Taking care of a party of more than 20 people is a lot to manage, but our server was friendly, helpful, attentive, and funny. That personality really added to the evening and helped make my daughter's birthday celebration even more enjoyable. Overall, The Italian Oven was a great choice for our family celebration. Plenty of parking available on a Saturday evening around 5 PM. There's always families there but the bar has plenty of seating for us grown folks that want to be away from the kiddos.

The chicken pizza rolls were a standout too, crispy on the outside, packed with flavor inside and whatever ranch they're serving with them is seriously addictive. The kids devoured their pizzas (which says a lot for me picky eaters) and the prices felt fair for the quality and portions. My husband handled pickup and mentioned the customer service was perfection, such a friendly folks, which always makes a difference. You'll find vaults or at least doors that look like vaults all over. The rest of the decor inside and outside was well done. Exposed brick gives it immediate rustic charm, while black floors, raw wood art, and leather stools wrap the package nicely. I definitely like their lighting! Oversized bulbs hung around the pizza oven bar (which you can sit at if there's space) and giant hoop rings finish the rest of the space. It isn't that glaring light that spotlights your table, it's just a nice warm ambient light that makes you wanna pour a vintage red into a wine glass over and over. Oh! I almost forgot, they do have an outdoor patio up front, so on those less humid days and nights, I'll definitely be hanging out there!

From my pic you can see that there is more crust than pizza but if I had ordered a larger size I feel the crust to pizza ratio wouldn't be a topic. If you love beer, then you will experience a very long list of various beers and I like that's it's broken down by variety and flavor. The pizza was good but if you prefer NY Style pizza you might not like how thick the crust is. Overall the pizza was good and fairly priced. This was our first time here so I'm not sure if it was normal but even though it wasn't really busy, service was slow. Our waitress was really friendly but she was working both inside and outside so we did have to wait around a while for our check. It didn't bother me too much since I had already ordered another beer that I had to finish but I could tell my wife and kids were ready to go. However, when we arrived to pick up, I was told by the staff that they didn't see the pick up time in the order until I arrived. They had not yet started on our order and it was in queue behind others. In their defense, it was a Friday evening and the restaurant was jumping! I witnessed other people coming in and being told the wait would be about an hour for their to go order. So, I entertained my children as best as possible while we just sat and waited. In general, I like Tony's pizza, salad, wings, cheesesteaks and fries. I think it's a great option...but I'd call them to double check if ever ordering thru DoorDash again.
