I was very pleased with my order and experience. The young lady working was really kind. I enjoyed the lobster pasta. It definitely cured my craving for Alfredo I've been having this week. I would definitely order it again. I do wish the lobster pieces were a bit bigger but outside of that I have no complaints. I love their prices. I've been thinking about the pasta since the day I had it I can't wait to return.

The waitress was very friendly. Our food came out in a decent amount of time and it was hot and delicious. I ordered Angel hair pasta with chicken and. My husband ordered pecan chicken. They were both so delicious but huge portions so I had a pretty big take home meal.. I also had for dessert some crème brûlée. It was delicious as well. I did not get a picture of it. I forgot. I highly recommend this place. We've been here twice and it has been a perfect experience both times

My recommendation is to Uber and then enjoy the square. I was meeting someone for lunch and this was in the middle from our destination. It had great reviews and pasta and was what I was craving. It's a small, warm and inviting little place. Service is fast and good. Menu is limited which is not a bad thing but enough variety. I absolutely loved my fettuccine. The pasta was made fresh and you could seriously taste the difference between fresh made and boxed pasta. The crème brûlée was on point and a great finish to lunch. I had plenty of left overs. If you're in the area, definitely stop in and get you some fresh pasta! This is located on the corner next to Queen Bee's Coffee shop.

We were out driving around, the kids were hungry, and we were close by, so we stopped in. My middle grandson could eat pizza every day. We started with fried pickles, and the breading on them was delicious. We also got garlic bread, and it was dripping with so much butter and garlic. I could have eaten that for lunch by itself--just wow. I got a Greek salad and baked ziti, and oh my gosh, it was so delicious. The kids got a cheese pizza, and my granddaughter, who isn't usually that wild about pizza, couldn't stop eating it. They finished the entire pie. I don't know why I haven't been here more often, but I will definitely be going back and recommending them to everyone.

Thank goodness I ordered additional bread, as the bread was the best part of my meal. The pasta was bland and the sauce had an odd taste. I would not order again and probably will not order from the restaurant again either.

Not my first time here, but it is my first review for them! This is really good pizza! (Is there…read morebad pizza?) very traditional, thin, Neopolitan style crust. Not huge, but two or three people could enjoy. (6 slices cut) I wanted to try something different so we got two and boxed the rest. Shelby greeted and seated us, and although she lacked a little knowledge on the beer menu, she made up for that with a trip to the bar to investigate our questions on sour beer, and came back with two excellent samples! We settled on a Dr. Robot and the Charcut-a-pie. I loved the toppings and balsamic drizzle. Goat cheese and arugula just go together. A little honey and I was in heaven! The crust on this one was a little well done, which disappointed but, the overall flavor was on point. Next, we sampled the Spicy Italian. I'm usually pretty good with spicy things, and while this was no exception, it did have both of us in a small sweat! If you are averse to spicy, stick with something else. This crust was also cooked and not over done. I'm not sure what McDonoughs' obsession is with vaults, but it seems to be a recurring theme around the square. You'll find vaults or at least doors that look like vaults all over. The rest of the decor inside and outside was well done. Exposed brick gives it immediate rustic charm, while black floors, raw wood art, and leather stools wrap the package nicely. I definitely like their lighting! Oversized bulbs hung around the pizza oven bar (which you can sit at if there's space) and giant hoop rings finish the rest of the space. It isn't that glaring light that spotlights your table, it's just a nice warm ambient light that makes you wanna pour a vintage red into a wine glass over and over. Oh! I almost forgot, they do have an outdoor patio up front, so on those less humid days and nights, I'll definitely be hanging out there!

I was in the mood for something good to eat, and I knew I really had to have something good that would satisfy my cravings. I needed hearty, seasoned, a good portion size, and great service. As such, I ended up at The Italian Oven Restaurant, and I am so happy I did. This time, my server was Sarah, and Sarah was amazing. She was so peasant and attentive to the needs of the table. Sarah ensured we didn't want for anything, allowed us time to review the menu, and shared her insights on the new specialty menu items. Thanks to Sarah I ended up getting the Cheese Tortellini with Buffalo Chicken. Let me explain! I received the specialty menu, and my eyes immediately went to the Cheese Tortellini with Buffalo Chicken. I love Cheese Tortellini and I loveeeeeeeee Buffalo Chicken. Seeing them both together truly captivated me. Sarah advised that it has had nothing but good reviews, so I was sold and had to have it. The Cheese Tortellini with Buffalo Chicken was exactly what I needed. It was well seasoned, hearty, a great portion size, and best of all, it warmed my soul bite after bite. Anddddddddd, of course, I had pounds of fresh Parmesan cheese shredded on top of it. Ummmmmmm!!! This was exactly what I needed, and I must admit, I need it again this week!!!! If you are in the Stockbridge area and in need of something that pleases the soul, make time for The Italian Oven Restaurant asap.

The strip mall entrance and parking a bit of a challenge. Full review below: I went in Saturday afternoon. It was lightly busy but fully staffed so help/attention came quick. Dining solo so I opted for a seat at the bar. Bartender was super attentive. Didn't have to wait long for a menu or to place my order. Also, she regularly checked in on how everything was. I ordered the Yellow Diamond Martini ($15) and it was delicious. I got the fried green tomatoes (4 pieces) for $11.95. Complimentary very tall cup of water. The tomatoes were a little small so this is definitely an appetizer/light snack...which is A-OK for me. It came out shortly after my martini was ready. Overall, minus tip, it came to $29. Music was playing through a speaker but not too loud. People could comfortably have a conversation. There are multiple tvs throughout. I appreciated that some of them were showing stuff other than sports. One monitor, near the restroom, is devoted to Culturistic Kitchen content, which is smart. I did use the restroom. It's two stalls and two sinks. The non-handicap/ADA stall is tiny. I'm like a medium-sized woman who is 5'7 and even I was like yikes. When the place is busy/packed I could see a wait or a line for the bathroom. The one major downside...which is not Culturistic Kitchen's fault is that the strip mall is not easy to get out of and onto the main road (Jodeco Rd) especially if you're turning left. The parking lots for all the shops, which are great businesses, should be bigger than it is. Don't be surprised if, during peak times, you may have to park 1-2 doors down from the restaurant. Overall, I would go again. I don't go out to eat that often (there's food at the house ) but if I want a good cocktail and a light snack or try some of their regular food items, I would come again. More than likely, I'd choose an off-peak time because I wouldn't want to experience it at near full capacity but that's just me.

Which were all denied out of being told they weren't offering any of those (sandwiches, salads) due to being too busy. Then were blindly charging an amount that does not match their online pricing. Even if they are not affiliated with DoorDash anymore for example, they should make sure it is completely removed and have an updated menu created if needed. If their prices have went up, it is at a restaurant rate when they are not a restaurant. When called out on this, the pricing was matched closer to what I manually tallied. I heard ownership has changed, making me question if that's why this experience took place vs very different experiences in the past. At that point, I used to constantly order lunch from here and do large catering orders for house parties of 50-80+ people. This created such a terrible taste, it will be the last time I order with them. I hope to see they do better and don't permanently ruin what was once so great. The food used to remind me of NY Bodega food. Now, no where near the same taste or quality. I'm so disappointed and upset I spent $$ on this.
