We ordered the PCH Dog (onion, mustard, chili) chili cheese fries (extra cheese), and a chocolate banana first. I'd forgotten to order cheese on my hot dog, and the gentleman was so cool to still give me the cheese even though there's a $1 charge. Both the PCH dog and the chili cheese fries were AMAZING. If you've been to Tommy's, the chili has a similar consistency. The extra cheese was top notch. The fries were excellent, not soggy or overdone. The chocolate banana shake was superb, the Thifty ice cream and fresh bananas (which the gentleman checked to ensure they had them before fulfilling the order) made the shake taste just as good as any ice cream shop. Loved being able to sit at the tables outside, made for an easy place to order, eat, and head home. We were sold on the food, but the amazing customer service and the overall friendliness will have us coming back A LOT. Thank you so much!

I was craving a hot dog after a crazy day at work so I decided to doordash from this place. I've…read moredefinitely walked past it a few times at The Block and was almost tempted to buy a hot dog multiple times so I knew it would be good! I believe it's a little truck in the food area and I am not sure if there's seating around, but I think not since it's giving a street dog vibe. My order was made so fast! I got the typical LA dog, which was wrapped in bacon and had grilled onions and bell peppers on top. I can't believe this was my first street dog EVER and that's when I realized what I was missing out all the time after concerts... It was SOOO good!!! I'm so glad I was feeling gluttonous and got an extra large glizzy because I ended up gobbling up the whole thing. This was exactly what I needed honestly. Yay hot dogs! The only minor thing that I didn't love is that I ordered "homemade chips" and they just gave me a small bag of Lays for $2.50. I didn't love that I payed that much for probably a 50 cent worth bag when I expected some nice homemade ones so they should definitely change that on the orders.

It was among the best hot dogs I've ever had. I loved the rich bbq sauce and the perfectly grilled onions. The bun was fresh and the dog itself was great quality with excellent "snap". I'm a bit spazzy when it comes to eating and walking so wanted to sit for a moment to eat. The Outlets are notorious for having no outdoor seating so I just found a chair at one of the fast food places. It doesn't take long to eat a weenie so I was done before I could be chased away.

"A faith is dead when no one can think of a heresy."…read more -James Richardson "He who makes a beast of himself gets rid of the pain of being a man." -Samuel Johnson I drove to this wiener shack or Wienerschnitzel or hot dog box or whatever with one goal in mind: I yearned to make myself forget the bitter disappointment of being waitlisted or excluded from so many Yelp Elite events. I've rarely felt so faux important and so legitimately ordinary & unsung. An elite benchwarmer is closer to the truth. Told to sit out again & again by the Yelp algorithmic powers that be. Lorea? Waitlisted. Orange Hill? Waitlisted. Spaghettini? Waitlisted. Being an Elite All-Star helps a little, but is not being Elite already enough status? A definition: "often : superior in quality, rank, skill, etc. an elite performer, an elite athlete, an athlete with elite skills." I have been left out as an Elite All Star too. Perhaps I am the best of the benchwarmers. Could be I am not conventionally attractive enough, so other Yelpers do not want to like my reviews for halo effect type reasons. Could be I do not craaaaank out dozens of fluffy, clipped reviews for the sake of maintaining a perception. Could be my reviews just aint got that swing, baby. Who knows. Anyway, sometimes to cope with the rejection all face from to time, one must invent a new form of pain to distract from the brutal reality that awaits all of us. My choice form of suffering is The Twinkie flavored milkshake served at Wienerschnitzel. Unlike some events & occasions, & places meant only for the creme de la creame, Wienerschnitzel will always welcome me with open buns. I've never been told I cannot go or don't belong at a Wienerschnitzel. I chose the drive thru this time because I could not bear to seen by the staff. I feared they might sense I am one of the lesser Yelp Elites by sourpuss disposition. The drive thru lady was pretty chill on the intercom, & she took my milkshake order. The ambiance of the drive thru is Miami Vice sexy except that it does not look like a cool TV show scene or feel sexy. The staff took no time to make the dietarily heinous beverage. Shake in hand. I sipped to forget the agony of defeat. I closed my eyes, and I let the cold liquid chunks of Twinkie take the wheel. All those narcotic levels of sugar tainting my veins & arteries. A trash parade rolling through my circulatory roadways. I finished the shake in less than a mile of driving. Sometimes the only way to forget a terrible moment in the past is drive one's self through an even more frightening moment in the future. Thank you Wienerschnitzel for letting me roll by. Their bacon-wrapped hot dog and signature piñabero sauce were unforgettable. The meat was tender, juicy, and absolutely delicious. Fast forward to a few years later: I was hosting another baby shower at a venue in Huntington Beach. Even though they didn't have a license to operate in the city--and their pricing was higher--I still really wanted them. I even offered to cover the cost of the business license so they could cater my event. But the day of the event was a total letdown. The staff arrived late and started cooking in foil trays, which immediately raised questions from my guests. I kept trying to hype them up, saying "just wait, this is the best I've ever had!"--but when the food came out, it was disappointing. Tacos and hot dogs were bland, and even the "signature" sauce couldn't save it. Guests were making comments like, "Taco Bell would've been better." To make matters worse, it was so embarrassing that my guests ended up filling up on the pizzas I had ordered for the kids. Since then, I've had friends and family recommend other taco caterers, which kind of stings given how much I once vouched for Mr. Hot Bunz. Really disappointed. I truly hope they can bring back the quality they once had, but I won't be using them again.

I took the bait and ordered one. My only way to describe what I paid twenty hard earned dollars for is garbage. Cold bun, a lukewarm over cooked hotdog, wrapped in bacon, smoked to a crisp, stuffed with fries, cheese and sour cream. The hotdog was drier than a piece of beef jerky.
