Not the best experience for me ngl. Truly not one to come on here to drag down an establishment but…read morethis is def one of the poorest customer service + rudeness I've ever gotten. (Then again maybe the lady was just having a bad day & it def showed in the taste and appearance of the smoothie I ended up throwing away) & got mcDonalds instead for a way cheaper price and more authentic taste. Pictures attached: - Palo de Azucar strawberry banana smoothie- $6.86 - McDonald strawberry banana smoothie- $4.29 Asked her name to be friendly & she got super defensive hmm okay(I know there's a lot of political tension rn but then again I don't wanna be stereotypical so imma leave it at that) . In still trying to be positive and make small talk sis said something along the lines of... I'm busy with orders in the kitchen so what's your order because I don't have time for this... then rushed to back and returned back with the watered down and poorly tasted smoothie Didn't try anything else on the menu so maybe y'all will like those instead & come back and give a better review lol. For the outdoor seating, they take away the chairs at 5:30 and put inside before 6pm closing. So couldn't stay there & do late evening studying so I just went to the park with my McDonalds smoothie in hand. Overall the aesthetic was cute and the lights decor were pretty. Will not be returning

As we waiting for our ice cream sundaes to arrive, the servers came outside and gave us fresh popcorn. It was such a small but sweet (and tasty) gesture. The owner came out and gave us our ice cream sundaes and chatted with us for a while about the life of an entrepreneur. She was so kind to give us so much attention and information on her life starting businesses in the local area. The mission of this shop is so pure and you can tell that the ice cream parlor was built with so much love. The ice cream and mango italian ice were both fantastic. If you are in the area, I hope you get the chance to visit and have conversation with the family.

I'm a huge fan of ice cream in general. It is loved by almost all people in some form or another…read more And not to leave out lactose intolerant or animal conscious consumers, it is now available in plant based forms. I think in many of our cultures, getting ice cream was somewhat of a treat and possibly enjoyed while on summer vacations. In this environment it gets even better. That was my mindset when seeing TIP for the first time. Clean and brightly colored shop with very nice outdoor seating options. Going inside you encounter a clean, colorful and brightly lit space with a few more tables. The counter was plexiglassed ala Covid style. Cases held about 12 ice cream choices, with maybe 8 more ice choices. Several options looked appealing to me. I went with old faithful chocolate and paired it with something I've never had, banana split. While I liked the chocolate, I really liked the split. It did remind me of getting sundaes and such as a child. The flavors were clean in both, and not overly sweetened. A better than average creaminess, but not in the upper tier. I'd get either again, or maybe one of the rotating flavors. The ice cream is not made in house, I was informed that it is sourced from local makers. I have a few suspicions as to who they might be, but of course more research will be required;). I really enjoyed talking with the owner and his two sons. To say this is a family business and or a labor of love is just barely hitting the mark. I'm tempted to tell the whole story here but I think it's better for the curious to just visit themselves. This is a business I would love to see thrive for many years. And as they succeed it could offer hope to other businesses or even families. Trenton needed this.
