They finally opened this Panera Bread! yippie! Well what's the first time verdict? it was pretty good. I had the Mac & Cheese and it was hot and good! my daughter had a plain grilled cheese sandwhich and my hubby had the Cuban sandwhich and everyone left full and satisfied. Overall the place was clean, the food was good but it was a bit over crowded and felt as if it was too small of a venue (It's weird because when Burger King used to be here it felt open and huge). We'll be back, finally a better choice the Applebees. read more

this location really just sucks. my order is never right, and ingredients are left out of dishes. i ordered the strawberry poppyseed salad and the strawberries were left out; another order i saw after i finished mine had strawberries on it. i understand mistakes are made, yet here every time i visit there isn't just a minor error. if i make modifications to a dish, they're ignored. read more

The food was fresh and good but wrong my niece asked the cashier couldn't hear and we repeated our order three times and still got it wrong but this day we where in a hurry so didn't complain. The lady that brought our food to the table was very nice and polite. Went to the local Panera for the first time in a while. Wow, have they gone downhill. They appear short handed at the register, but the back staff has time to joke around. The cashier was the only person behind the counter and she was the server as well - no more table side delivery. Ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese - barely toasted, and the cream cheese was sour, as if poorly refrigerated. I had to request a knife to spread the cream cheese, but it was cracked in the cellophane anyway - and served with butter (who eats butter AND cream cheese?). Self-served a Diet Pepsi decaf - it was so watery it looked like weak tea. The vanilla cinnamon roll was apparently too close to the lemon scones - tasted a fair amount of lemon and practically no cinnamon, and the texture was a little too dense. My wife's order and mine were served on two plates - but each plate had half of my order and half of hers. What restaurant does that? Overall, a pretty craptacular meal, and an experience I never wish to repeat. read more

Love Panera, I am a client of many years at other locations in NYC, but at this location on a Saturday, store closing at 11pm, I was eating at 10:25pm and was asked by an employee to eat fast and return my plate because dishes were going to the kitchen! Panera tables and chairs around were being cleaned and turned at 10:30pm, not to be used and no more coffee. Panera, you need more people working at this location and managers that enforce your policy of taking care of your clients. Not good. read more

What kind of way is this to run a business? I placed a catering order online for a dinner party. I arrived to pick up the order half an hour AFTER it was supposed to be ready. Not only wasn't it ready, but the manager informed me that they cannot see online orders over $50 on their computer. What?! They had no idea about the order at all. It was already paid for so I waited for them to make the order and arrived super late for the party. Ridiculous! On the plus side, the manager was sweet and courteous. I am very disappointed in my experience here at panera. Last night, i went there with high expectations in search of great quality service. I ordered my food and after it came to me i noticed that i got BREAD instead of CHIPS.( i had originally asked for chips). I was infuriated. But i did not say anything because i didnt want to come off as picky. But this was unbelievable ... im not allowed to eat bread so i was upset. And to top this whole thing off, the light went out. I COULDVE CHOKED ON MY FOOD. I FORGOT WHERE MY MOUTH WAS. although the employees were very nice and kind... AND the food was delicious. Something about Panera screams suburbia, I've only ever been to Panera bread when I've been in, what I consider to be, a small town. I refuse to visit the ones in the city lest my bubble be burst. Haven't had Panera Bread in months. So I decided to order online, due to the ongoing spread of COVID-19, instead of walking in. I prepared my order to be ready for 12:20pm. Set up "curbside pickup" and all. Put my information in (Brown Chevy Truck) and clicked "I'm here" to check in. I had waited in the car for 20 minutes before I decided to walk in myself. Not only did they have 2 people online, they THEN started SKIPPING me when though I was on the line! I patiently waited to be called after being cut in line TWICE all while the workers saw what went down. I would never put the blame on the essential workers doing their best to serve us and stay open with everything going on, but seriously?? I did not order my food for "rapid pickup" where it was sitting there, on a shelf, cold, for 25 minutes. Not only was my food cold when I brought it home, my bread was stale, and my broccoli cheddar soup was watery. read more

I usually don't order from this location because I am never happy with the service, however it was an awful night outside and I just wanted to pick up something easy and near me. I ordered my food at 6:20. I arrived at 6:45 and there was a crowd of people waiting as well, probably 15-20 people. EVERYONE was complaining. When I walked over to grab my food I saw it wasn't there so I waited. 30 minutes go by and it's still not done. There were maybe 2 or 3 people working in the kitchen and they kept walking away every 2 seconds. No wonder nothing was getting done. And not only that, but the manager yelled and said "I don't care, close the store I'm not doing this anymore". All I could think about was all the people ordering online who have no idea they are closing early and then they can't even get their food!I got my food and the mac and cheese was half filled as well as the soup. Overall extremely unacceptable. Will NEVER be ordering from here ever again and I suggest you don't either. read more

Maybe I was lucky, but I had a good experience here. Not overly busy, the bus boys took away empty plates after we were done with them, and the cashier was very nice. Our food was hot and the bread was fresh, a problem I've had in other Panera's. Overall, a step above the other locations I've been to in the area. read more

Shameeka the Manager at this location is AMAZING!!! We had a challenging morning trying to get our business lunch catered by another Panera location and Shameeka saves the Day! She was so nice, accommodating, and patient! She helped us over the phone, ensured everything was completed correctly, and then personally delivered the order to ensure we were happy! It is lunchtime on the Saturday before Mother's Day. There is a line here but it moves quickly. My cashier Ilidia(?) was polite,competent and efficient. My food came out at a decent interval given how crowded the place is. The chili could have been hotter but it wasn't cold. The bus person who picked up my plates we friendly and asked how my meal was. This place is fine. I'm not sure why people expect. I would eat here again. read more

I was at this location in Yonkers, NY on 10/3/19 at around 1200. when one of the employees ran in with a wet jacket because in was raining outside, she walked behind the counter to the area where the food is being prepared, at that point she takes off her wet jacket and began to wing her long braided hair around like she was on a movie set and about to shoot a scene from Baywatch. She started pulling her hair and scratching her scalp, right where they prepare the FOOD. I told the manager and she said it was no big deal. I will call the health department. read more

Very slow and unprofessional staff. My first time here I walked in and the employees were chatting behind the register as I waited in what was supposed to be a line if there were any customers waiting. Recently after ordering online due to lack of customer support, I had to wait even though my order stated 15 min prep time. 2 soups took over a half hour. Today was my last time here! read more

Love Panera bread, but tonight the service was horrible. Waited 20 minutes for soup and a salad and another order of soup and a grilled cheese, and they managed to get it wrong. I'm really disappointed. Panera is delicious! But the service at this particular location sucks. I've tried and tried to give this location a chance because it is the closest one to me, but 9 times out of 10 my order is wrong. It doesn't matter if I call in the order, or order in person...it will come out wrong. Most of the staff look un-enthused as well. Just left Panera. The service could be much better. Received my food with the bottom plate and food plate with food stains. My mother and I had food stains on the plate. We asked for them to change one of the plates because it was just too nasty. Unsure if the staff had dirty gloves ( which is what I'm hoping for) or they didn't wash the plates. We asked the lady politely to change the plate, she changed it but you can tell she didn't want to. There was no verbal customer service. When we went to sit my mother food was cold and she asked the same worker if she could warm it up. At this point the food was overly hot to the point that is not acceptable to give to someone. So hit it changes the consistency of the food. I should of taken pictures of the plates and the unnecessary overly hot food. My mother brought the food back and the manager said " what do you want me to do". At that point my mother was over the situation and said nothing. I came in to have some breakfast and get some planning done. The staff was very polite, efficient, and accommodating. Having certain dietary restrictions, they were patient as they explained their menu options and friendly as they both took my order and delivered my fresh, hot breakfast sandwich to my table. My cashier informed me about their rewards program and gave me some tips about their self-serve coffee bar. The atmosphere inside the restaurant on this weekday morning was quiet and laid back. grabbed a quick bite at panera in yonkers and with rapid pick up i no longer have to wait on line to order as ordering online and pick up in 10 minutes is the way to go. bummed out they no longer carry the chicken soba noodle bowl or pasta alfredo but they just added flat bread pizza and its really good for under 11 bucks. they allow limited seating in westchester compared to nyc which does not. as for the pastries and breads its better to come in the morning when its hot and fresh out of the oven. mostly everything they offer is good and i have been ordering the same soup lately which is the creamy chicken wild rice and with a piece of bread (or 2 pieces ) it will keep your belly full till dinner time. self service drink machine has good selection which includes caff free diet pepsi and a few cold fruit tea's which i have not tried yet. glad most panera bread stores are still open and its a very good alternative over the boring fast food joints . read more

She gave me attitude and told me that she already told me to check the shelf... Completely new to ordering online so I did not understand why she had to be so harsh....
