I have been to the spot a few times most times The line and the wait is pretty long. If coming to this location I would pre-order my food before coming on the app so that way you can gain points. Also for the convenience of being able to just pick up. The last time I came to this location was in September and I spent a total of $70 for 3 for meal and a side soup. I can't believe Panera has gotten this expensive. I would say however that they do have hot meal now and the teriyaki chicken bowl it's delicious. When you make it a meal it comes out to about $16. I also love that Fuji apple salad that they have with the dressing. In case you've never been here before they have a great cheddar and broccoli and tomato soup. Whenever I get a drink I always make sure to get one of their brewed iced teas. The quality of the food is good here I've never had a complaint. The only complaint I have is the wait time since it seems like they are always short staffed or backed up. read more

Horrible management and horrible service. They are always getting orders wrong when I have it delivered through the app. Then when you call to tell them and get a refund they ignore you!!! I just called and said my order was wrong and I want a refund they put me on hold and never came back to the phone!!! The restaurant has no clear means of getting your food. I ordered by kiosk as directed and received a text saying my food was ready. No one had any idea where my order was (or anyone else's order). I had the best cashier and the even better food! I ordered the whole southwest chicken avocado salad and whole of the chicken avocado melt because my boyfriend and I wanted to try both! With the whole orders, you're able to choose a side between: bread, apple or chips. I'm not giving this place a full 5 stars because the place was not that clean. The busser would only pick up the dishes from the tables but, would not wipe them down. Almost all the tables were dirty when I was there. On Saturday I for brunch late breakfast lunch, I had A Ceasar salad no chicken, and half a mozeralla tomato flat bread. It all tasted decent, but about a hour later I had a really bad stomach ache. Which ended up being food poisoning. I spent my whole weekend in the hospital. When I called panera to inform the manager about what had happened the manager a female didn't even apologize. I am frequent panera customer. But after this I am no longer going to eat there. My weekend was horrendous and I now I have a huge hospital bill because they Don't know how to be clean. Server claims that they didn't see my ticket on my table and they came around two times when it was clearly placed in the holder they leave on the tables. She looked at me twice while walking by and has the audacity to blame the customer when it was clearly her fault. Worst Customer service I have ever received and this place keeps getting worse and worse. Run and don't even bother with this location. They need to hire friendlier people at this location. This Panera Bread is so ghetto!!! well the workers anyway. let me explain.... first every time I order they mess up my order somehow or forget to put something that you specifically ask for, also they are so so so slow putting out your order... it was late on Sunday and it was not busy at all, yet my food took 23 min to come out, why????? because they get distracted by other coworkers talking to each other about drugs and getting high after work right in front of you as you watch them prepare your food. And in my last time I was there the kid making the sandwiches dropped a sandwich box on the floor and instead of tossing it out, placed it back on top of the others for the next sandwich order, that's a health code violation I'm sure. Sure, it's a busy Saturday afternoon...at a location in a pretty popular mall...but still...a half hour wait for what's basically "fast" food is a bit ridiculous. Great location! Food is very good. However, the service is poor mostly due to the lack of staff. Whenever I go there I see different staff at register and food prep area. It's obvious they are short staff because there is no one at the dining area cleaning up tables or keeping up with the Barista counter. My order was taken at the kiosk and I was given a cup for my coffee but they forgot about the pastry. I also ordered a smoothie but there was no one preparing it until I got up from my table to check for it. Also, I used the restroom but there was no toilet tissue. All of this and there was no traffic in the restaurant. They should use the downtime to take inventory of what needs to be done before getting busy with customers. By far the worst Panera I've ever been to. Waited in front of register for 10min until someone noticed that people were waiting. SO many people were waiting for their food and and I really didn't see much being handed to the waiting customers. It was a Monday at 2pm so I can't even imagine what a chaos it would be during lunch rush hour. All we got was 2 drinks so we went to the station and 3 out of 6 or so containers were empty. Fruit flies flying everywhere. All we wanted was lemonade and they didn't even have that. I asked one of the staff if there's any lemonade and she said whatever's out there is all we got.. really ? 2pm on a Monday and no lemonade..? Okay.. Also there was no indoor seating and it looked like staff's personal belongings were just thrown on the chairs and couches where it was closed to the customers. I feel like the least they can do is to keep the place looking neat. It's located at cross county mall so I feel like they simply don't care since they'll get business regardless of how messy and unorganized they are. I am constantly disgusted by their service. I have been vegan for 5 years now and they once put a large abundance of YOGURT in my VEGAN smoothie on October 11th, 2018. Therefore causing me to get extremely sick. Then tonight I asked them to politely take something out of my bread bowl that i do not like. They rudely told me it is pre-made so they weren't able to, which is understandable. I ordered it anyway (only because I had a gift certificate from my previous issue with this location, otherwise I would have never gone there again.) I received my food that was supposed to come in a bread bowl/with a side of bread/baguette. Instead it came in a regular take out container and with AN APPLE. The problem really is the management and the staff. I purposely include the management because they're supposed to be on top of things. My wife and I went to get a meal at 4:00. Busy on a Saturday but not a crush by any means. We both got the Tortellini and chicken. Her's was cold, mine was ok (though not hot). I bring it back myself and ask them to heat it up. A few minutes later, I bring it back to my wife. She says it's still too cold. I taste it myself. She's not kidding. It's VERY cold. So now I go back annoyed. They give me a new one from what was to be someone else's order. It was fine. But everyone is looking at me like a zombie. I didn't rant and rave, but everyone is looking at you like they've never heard a request to heat up food. As far as cleanliness, this time wasn't too bad. I've been here when it was worse. Dirty with fewer staff, unclean floors. This time it was generally clean. But for a Panera, It makes you not want to come back. There are better Panera's if that's your thing and there are better places to eat in the Cross County Mall if that's your focus. read more

No apologies. * week 2 - order the 3 meals, place seems quiet. Kids get soups - after 20 minutes I venture to the counter to ask about my meal. "we're waiting on bowls" was the reply. Ask for refund - which I get, no apologies or clarification. * week 3 - order the 3 meals as usual with bread. "Sorry, we have no bread - do you want an Apple or Chips?" "Sorry I thought you were a bakery that baked Bread - hence Panera Bread - so your telling me you have no bread". "I can give you sour dour if you want". Speech less and bewildered * week 4 -April 2 - 10% occupancy but still had to wait 17 mins for 2 soups and a salad. This is a pretty cozy Panera Bread within the Cross County mall. Plenty of options, healthy and hearty. Great selections of tea, my favorite is the ginger peach tea. One complaint would be they do take a while for table service. Also they run out of the iced teas and do not necessarily replace them. Still a good place for a low key lunch or dinner. read more

Bought a soup for my little one (3 years old) she was drinking her juice we bought from the cross county location, accidentally dropped her juice outside, and when I went back inside to show them that cup cracked and it spilled, this women without out looking up once, said sorry we don't replace spilled drinks. We made an unscheduled stop at Macy's around lunch time and decided on Panera Bread for convenience. We've been to Panera near home many times, but we've never been to this location before. Although there was a bit of a line, it moved quickly and our order was taken within a few minutes. The young lady who took our order was friendly and competent and made us feel welcomed. Our food was delivered to our table very quickly (seemed like less than 5 minutes) and everything was fresh and delicious ( Asian salad and tuna salad sandwich). We were especially impressed by the two young men that delivered our food and bussed our table. They were very polite and attentive. They checked on us a couple of times asking if everything was OK and cleared our plates as soon as we were done (asked first). Nice job! read more

So, the only good thing I can say is the cashier Ashia! Friendly, fast and attentive. Each time I have been here my hot sandwich has been cold. I'm not sure how they pull that off considering I watched them out in the panini machine. While I was waiting a couple of other customers brought their sandwich back as well to have it reheated. If you order to stay they give you a card with a number and you put that card in a stem on a random table. Then eventually they bring you your food after they circle the entire restaurant to find you. Terrible system. 5 or 6 plates of food sit on the counter while one worker delivers one plate at a time. If your lunch is only an hour order to go even if you're staying. You'll get your food a lot faster and avoid being hangry. Never been a big fan of the soups here but I dig the salads. The sandwiches are what you would expect from any Panera, with the exception of it being cold of course. It was also late in the day and they pastries seemed to be untouched which had me curious. If you want something fast and hot this is not the place for you. Applebee's is right next door, give them a try. read more
