Greeted warmly by staff and got a seat in the bar area seating (as opposed to the main seating area which I'll try next time) but this was perfect as Bears and Packers Pt 1 was on tv which was fun to observe but too much was happening at our table for me to really focus on them. The server was smart, funny and super attentive without being overly so and when she didn't know what wine to recommend she sent over a sommelier who set us up with a nice Italian vintage. We started with the mussels. These were ok. Seemed slightly pre-made but this was the only small knock on our entire fantastic meal. Next course was the Pasta: we selected the Rolled Eggplant with ricotta and mozz on top. Got it with "easy cheese" and it was perfectly sumptious and had the exact easy cheese as requested. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and was so very tasty. On the main course, if you've never had Veal this is the place to try it. I love a good Veal Milanese or Parmesan and the Milanese was perfect! Breaded, lightly pan fried with Arugula, large shavings of Parmesan cheese and a properly cooked Polenta side. Delicious! The meal ended with a homemade fluffy, light, exquisite Tiramisu to send us both home very satisfied and happy. Thank you Positano family!

The customer service was great. The food is what will keep you coming back. I had the lunch special with my friend and settled on the salad and a Paccheri Vodka pasta. I almost ordered a full portion of the pasta to go it was so good! I was truly blown away. I felt full yet not sluggish. I still had room for dessert and tried the butterscotch bread pudding. It was even more delectable. I'm just not sure how everything they make is that good! There's no way!

We saw the retro sign, and dove into the parking lot. An excellent experience. This indeed is a "Family Owned Restaurant" - the kind you seldom see anymore. You know... the kind where the Owner greets you at the door, the staff is friendly and glad you came, the cooks 'on the Line' in back are well dressed and smiling, and everyone seems to be working toward making their Guests welcome and well-fed. God, I miss that culture! We ordered a couple items from their well-rounded Menu. Both were delightful. I had a Mexican Omelette - the best I've had since 2018, when my local Diner in Lisle closed. Today's Omelette was HOT (temperature-wise), with some Jalapeños that themselves carried some (just right!) spiciness to 'em. The Staff was very pleasant, chatted with us a bit, and certainly made us feel welcomed. When we left, carrying some fresh Pie for later, my Bride and I both simultaneously agreed- from now on, after a bout of Poking, Prodding and Snipping at Northwestern Hospital, we'll be stopping at Seven Dwarfs for dome rejuvenation. They now have a proper roasted Greek potato on the menu, and a vegetarian moussaka which I'm very excited about. Vegetarian items still not labeled; GF are. For mains, and vegetarians can get the spanakopita; a buttered macaroni with cheese; or combine various tasty dips from the appetizer section. There's also salad which I ignore. The online menu has a few appetizers I didn't see (zucchini with skordalia! Oven-baked lima beans!). Warning, at least where I was sitting: the booths can move (not nailed down) - be careful when you get up. I got the chef's special spanakopita/tiropita and the roasted potato; be very specific when ordering as I was served the special "Molos Greek potato" with garlic yogurt and shredded cheese, which was fine but not what I wanted. The spanakopita and tiropita were tasty, with a good ratio between filo and filling, served on a folded cloth napkin (great idea, even perfect filo-wrapped items can be a bit greasy). Service started a little slow, as there was apparently a big party (they do that and they cater now). It was OK though I'm not sure English was my server's first language. I'll be back for the moussaka, which looks great (someone at the next table ordered it) and will be very precise when ordering my roasted Greek potato. Hopefully with a side of giant lima beans in tomato sauce.
