Great half sandwich and cup of soup at Panera in Westford. The cup of chicken tikka masala soup was excellent, but could not determine whether it actually had chicken. This was not a problem. Also had the 1/2 turkey, bacon bravo sandwich, which was also excellent. They included a small fruit cup. I have only begun patronizing Panera in the last few months and continue to be impressed with the quality of their food. Impressive. read more

I've lived in the area a long time and used to frequently visit. The Westford location has gone in the hole. Two nights ago, I ordered food to-go- I had to physically go to the store since my gift cards wouldn't work online or over the phone and couldn't get delivery because of it. The cashier did not know what I was talking about when I ordered the Spicy Take Chicken Sandwich. I had to explain to him that it was the sandwich on all their signs and he went to go ask someone else twice to find it. I get home and there was no buffalo sauce on the sandwich. There was also no chicken on the chicken green goddess sandwich I ordered. I asked for 2 apples and 2 bags of chips with the 4 meals and got 3 apples and 1 bag of chips. I decided to give them another try and got breakfast to-go this morning. I asked for the Avocado, Egg white, Spinach & Cheese sandwich on ciabatta bread instead of the Sprouted Grain bagel. I open it at work and it was made on the Sprouted Grain bagel. Whatever, I'll try it how it's supposed to come. I made it 3/4 through the sandwich when I realized the Avocado was moldy. I picked the rest out. Then there was a hair. Id rather throw my gift cards in the trash than go back to this place again. read more

What I love about Panera is the perfect stop for lunch when you are on a road trip. I'm not a fan of fast food so stopping here is perfect. I like the pick two deals. I got a warm turkey chili and a Chinese chicken salad. Both of which were so tasty. I like that you order at the counter and it comes out pipping hot soon after. The layout here are nice- there's some space so you some privacy. It's usually packed but its never hard to find a seat. You could almost bring your laptop and do work here! It's spacious and modern and clean. Everyone is friendly, the music is peaceful, there's no screaming children. I have nothing but good things to say about this chain. read more

I like this Panera. I like the bagels/ Dislike the cream cheese (very loose and watery). The soups are good but are small and not a good value. The sandwiches are good, not great. The staff here are friendly and I can get in and out with the correct order in a reasonable amount of time. The bathrooms and restaurant overall is very clean and well maintained. read more

They always try to cheat you into paying more. They have a menu item called Value Duets ($5.99) but when you order it, they ring it up as You pick 2 which is twice as expensive. My wife ordered the Tuna sandwich and 10 vegetable soup duet but she was overcharged. Very disappointing! read more

The interaction I had with the manager last week was something out of a movie. I ordered through the Panera app and the dasher went to the wrong location. I couldn't request a refund through the app so I drove down with my friends to speak to someone in person to resolve the issue somehow. The manager quite literally screamed in our faces and shooed us out the door. Ive never been so angry in my LIFE. A young female employee came to help us out like a little angel and he started screaming at her for associating with us. Literally unacceptable. Went to the Chelmsford location and they were incredible and remade my food AND gave me free bonus treats as an apology gift. This was my very last trip to Panera. Once upon a time you could count on Panera for a good, maybe better than homemade, sandwich, excellent savory soups and a good selection of hot and cold drinks not available anywhere else on a "fast food" timeline served on real plates. Now it's bland, mass produced, overpriced and not worth the calories on a real plate much like most food on this timeline served in paper. Flat bread looked like someone poured canned tomato soup on bread, hid it all under thick tasteless greasy cheese and pepperoni. My bbq chicken has less then 4 ounces of chicken, probably 8 oz of raw strong smelling old onions and tasteless cheese. As hungry as I was I could not bring myself to finish the awful sandwich. Used to be good. Reliable, good quality meal. Not anymore. I ordered a bowl with chicken that looked great on the picture. What came barely passed for a half portion - it was supposed to be full. No tomatoes or onions as in the picture. I went to the manager who seemed irked. He said that's the portion size - much smaller than the picture - and asked what was missing. We were traveling north on interstate 495 when we decided to take a lunch break so we exited for Westford and found Cornerstone Square just down the road. There were several other chain restaurants, but we wanted something light so we chose Panera. The restaurant was very busy and we found the process of ordering/picking-up our food a bit odd. You order at the counter and pick-up at a different counter which was congested because the soda machine was in the same location. My wife and I each order soup - bistro French onion for her and garden vegetable with pesto for me. Both were very good so I would not hesitate to order either of them in the future. read more

How can a store always, and I mean always, get take away orders wrong. I've never gone to this store without getting home and finding one or more things missing. And their first response when I call is 'can I come back?' This is so fustrating and it isn't like this has been one or two times and it isn't like it has just been recently. This is the third week we ordered online and for the third week you have the order wrong. The first time you gave us the wrong dressings for our salads. The second time you gave chicken on the Greek salad and we did not order chicken. Tonight the Greek salad was missing olives and also ordered pickled onions to add on and neither were on the salad. If by chance you don't serve pickled onions it should not be available to choose from online. Also the westford store did not have feta so I had to order Gorgonzola for an additional price. Which I should not have had to pay for due to your store being out of stock. We are very disappointed. Where is the quality control with making sure the orders are correct. You can't fix items when you are at home looking forward to eat your meal and then it doesn't come as expected. Lastly, I tried called the business 6 times tonight since my husband brought it home and nobody answered the phone to for me to tell them of our experiences. So instead I wrote this review. I am a frequent Panera customer, and this location is the WORST. My take out orders are usually wrong. My orders are not complicated -- simply "no Mayo" and I prefer whole wheat. It's clearly listed on the app order as well as on my receipt at pick-up, but the order is still out together incorrectly. I find that more often than not they are out of certain breads before lunch time. That speaks to poor management and planning of a bread company is out of bread by lunch. read more

I always call the manager on duty and get the missing items refunded but they don't appear to go beyond that to correct an obvious problem with their execution read more

I'm giving this place one star because the service is terrible. I came with my aunt and cousin, and the lady at the counter was horrendously rude to us. They mixed up my cousin's order and told him that it was he who had picked up the wrong order. As for me, they didn't even give me a buzzer or call me when my latte was ready. Save yourself time and money and avoid this location. Online orders are always missing something. They give mismatched utensils (consider yourself lucky if you even get utensils), no napkins, and no salad dressing for your salad. And when you drive back there to get your salad dressing, the girl there hands you a half-full container of it. ??? Don't be like me and wait till you get home to check your order. They will most likely be wrong and missing something. Check your bags there before leaving. And when you tell them they missed something or gave you the wrong things, they don't adhere to their "Accuracy Matters" promise of a free treat if this happens. If this happens to you, ask for a free treat, it's on the receipt. That would probably make them pay attention and stop messing up orders. This place just, for a lack of a better word, sucks now. The food quality and taste went downhill and taste terrible. Nothing is fresh, everything seems old and stale. For cheaper, higher quality ingredients foods go to Chipotle, Subways, or Whole Foods. And don't even think about coming here more than an hour away from closing time. Panera Bread in Westford used to be one of my favorite places, food was good every time and the service was quick but with the change of management, its just not the same. I had previously given them 5-stars but I am revising my reviews after bad service over and over again. I live in town and used to eat there at least 3 times a week and the staff was always nice and friendly but not any more. Food is not the same, although, I order almost the same stuff but every time its different in taste and not well prepared. Panera is one of my go to places. However, this one is sometimes a disappointment, like today. I ordered a modern Greek salad with quinoa with chips as the side. $9+. It was to go. Got baguette instead of chips. Got a soup spoon instead of a fork. You know their tv ads about freshness? Sadly not true. I pulled out numerous pieces of kale and lettuce that were partially turned. The sliced cukes were not fresh but limp and sad. And whatever red stuff in the quinoa (red peppers?) were mushy. Fresh would have been so much better. And the free tea I earned, choosing prickly pear and hibiscus, was bitter, unlike previous times. Not sure I'll get those again. May not even go for a meal in near future. read more

Panera delivery seemed great because my store is located in the same plaza as them but as a business we often too busy to leave our store to get lunch. Our delivery took over an hour to arrive and when I called the manager to ask where our food was she didnt put me on an actual hold, but put the phone down and talked in the background for atleast 10 minutes well I sat there waiting for food I paid a delivery charge and tip for. I just ended up hanging up the phone. When the food arrived the soup was cold and bread for the sandwiches was soggy. Manager to Manager, I have to say that is unacceptable service. read more

I love going here with my family and friends. They have a couple delicious vegetarian options. My mom loves getting the Fuji apple chicken salad. I usually get the caprese sandwich with avocado (which is always fresh and perfectly ripe). The smoothies here are also very good (kind of pricey) and they have specified dairy-free options. The employees are always nice and they have a good amount of outdoor seating. Great location. My mom double checked if the Mac and cheese my brother ordered was a half or whole size (we ordered whole), and the man behind the counter said it was, but he added another portion of Mac n cheese anyways. Nice bathrooms too. Sometimes the tables are a little dirty, which isn't really the employees' fault. I always want to grab a booth seat, but they are usually taken . PROS: Standard cozy ambiance, quick service, pleasant atmosphere for fast food. CONS: The greek salad here was less than half the size I normally get at other Panera's. When I picked it up, I asked the server if this was a "half portion" meant for a soup and 1/2 salad deal, but he said no. I requested that he add more salad because it was very meager, really less than half the bowl was filled. He flipped the bowl over and started over, but gave me the same amount of lettuce, maybe even less, with some attitude. Also, on this day, the decaf and regular coffee was awful.
