Panera is one of my go to places. However, this one is sometimes a disappointment, like today. I ordered a modern Greek salad with quinoa with chips as the side. $9+. It was to go. Got baguette instead of chips. Got a soup spoon instead of a fork. You know their tv ads about freshness? Sadly not true. I pulled out numerous pieces of kale and lettuce that were partially turned. The sliced cukes were not fresh but limp and sad. And whatever red stuff in the quinoa (red peppers?) were mushy. Fresh would have been so much better. And the free tea I earned, choosing prickly pear and hibiscus, was bitter, unlike previous times. Not sure I'll get those again. May not even go for a meal in near future. read more

I would agree with the other reviews about this location. I had to ask them to add more soup in our orders and the bowls were one fourth full. The answer from the staff was those are the portions and need to pay for another serving. Small Mac n cheese is $6. I ordered a lentil soup and the same issue. Will never come back. I love going here with my family and friends. They have a couple delicious vegetarian options. My mom loves getting the Fuji apple chicken salad. I usually get the caprese sandwich with avocado (which is always fresh and perfectly ripe). The smoothies here are also very good (kind of pricey) and they have specified dairy-free options. The employees are always nice and they have a good amount of outdoor seating. Great location. My mom double checked if the Mac and cheese my brother ordered was a half or whole size (we ordered whole), and the man behind the counter said it was, but he added another portion of Mac n cheese anyways. Nice bathrooms too. Sometimes the tables are a little dirty, which isn't really the employees' fault. I always want to grab a booth seat, but they are usually taken . A couple areas, I believe, have outlets available to charge devices. read more

Terrible attention to rapid pick-up details at the Westford restaurant. They ran out of arugula so I substituted other greens. It was right on the order, cmon. Opened my Tuscan chicken sandwich, no greens and a very tiny sliver of chicken. Thanks for the tomato and cheese sandwich! There was more chicken in my chicken noodle soup. read more

Service is beyond slow!!! It shouldn't take 15+ minutes to receive an order, especially with not that many people inside the store.

This Panera location just cannot seem to get delivery orders right. Out of the past 7 times we've ordered (all within the last 2 months), they only got the order correct once. All the other times, the wrong coffee was delivered in the wrong size, or was not delivered at all. It's also almost impossible to get a refund because the manager will tell you to "do the refund through grubhub," but I don't even have a grubhub account so I never get the refund. The only time we were able to get a refund was when the coffee wasn't delivered at all. Super disappointing. read more

Over priced average quality food. I can't fully understand why people love Panera so much, I came here for lunch while visiting friends. I decided to get the half sandwich and half soup who's was the Italian panini and French onion soup. The sandwich had the bare minimum when it comes to meat and toppings, they should have just called it the bread sandwich with hints of Italian flavoring. The soup on the other hand actually had a fair amount of onions in it, although it was light on cheese. The soup tasted like somethi,g from a can as it was extremely salty. My wife decided to get the large bowl of chicken soup and share it with my daughter, big mistake. Her soup was really just broth with a hint of noodles and chicken. When she was finished with the soup it looked like she still had a full bowl with the amount of broth. The only thing I can say I enjoyed from Panera was the coffee. The coffee actually has pretty good flavor and isn't too bitter. I would avoid Panera bread for anything but snack food and coffee unless you like spending a lot of money on food with no substance. read more

Although we all love Panera Bread food, the last few months, the service in Westford has been extremely poor. For 3 orders, we were told it would be 1.5 hours before it would be ready for pick up!!! UNACCEPTABLE !!! Most recently, when we waited for a small order and another 1 hour wait, I asked for the manager. We could not stand in line for another 15 minutes and wait for our order. We were looking forward to Panera all day particularly for the pick 2 with the chicken avocado pannino and soup. I had this combo before, but this time I was disappointed. The bread on the sandwich was not crispy. The avocado was lacking and overall the sandwich seemed sloppily put together. They were busy for Saturday lunch so I can see how this would happen, but I expect more from Panera. My French onion soup was good. The onions were chopped up although I am used to seeing them left round. The cheese was just sprinkled in, but melted enough by the time I dug in. The croutons and bread were awesome. I will say there was a very diligent employee ensuring that tables were clean and trays were not piled up by the trash. She was an all star and hard at work. She even took our trays when we brought them up to the trash and took care of sorting all the items. read more

The service at this Panera was not good. I asked for one soup to go and one soup and a flatbread for dine-in. They prepared both soups for dine-in (they gave me a to go container to pour the second soup into) and didn't have the bread for the flatbread. They offered to make it with another type of bread which I said was fine. They said they would bring it right out. After 12 minutes...I still had no sandwich. I went to the pick-up counter to check on it and they had totally forgotten to make my sandwich. At that point they said they could get it started. Ordered a turkey avacado bacon sandwich that came out with raw bacon fat, dry freezing cold turkey, freezing cold bread and unripe avocado. I can't believe that sandwich costed $8, it was completely inedible. Threw it away after a bite. I absolutely do not recommended this Panera Bread. read more

I was not happy the last two times I visited Panera in Westford, Ma. Garbage was overloaded, the plates not picked up. So I talked to a female manager who snapped at me when I complained that the garbage was piled high and I have never encountered such a dirty Panera bread. When I returned a few months later I encountered dirty tables all over the restaurant. I have a panera card and am a frequent customer for many Panara breads in both MA and NH. The best one is Panera in Bedford!! I will not go to this one in Westford again. And the irony is that I live in Westford. read more

OK - I'm writing this review in hopes any person who manages this Panera is reading this - I hope this Panera can improve, since it's kind of a central hub in Westford now, and I don't wanna drive to Drum Hill :) First, very, very long lines - there are consistently lines out the door, and they move incredibly slowly - it seems that they always have too few people on register, and too many ambling around in the food-prep area. And second - when the teenaged workers are preparing your food, it usually comes out poorly - they are slow, bantering with each other, and I guess not playing attention - typically when they're working, it means a cold panini. In contrast, when the "grown-ups" are working, the food is reliably good, and comes out fast. I really hope they can improve! read more

This is not the first time I've been extremely disappointed with take out from Westford's Panera. Last time I arrived home to find the wrong sandwich in my U-Pick 2. This time, I tried to call and order ahead while I was driving. I called several times but no one answered the phone. I get home and the chicken on my Asian sesame chicken salad is mostly frozen - I had to warm it up in the microwave before it became edible. There was also no dressing, which is the best part of the salad. Lastly, one of my sides was missing - I was supposed to have 2 bags of chips and only received one. I tried to call to inform them of these mistakes and my disappointment, but of course, no one answered the phone. read more

My wife and I were so impressed by their service, she told me to write this review. What happened was that I ordered the food online and selected the Drum Hill Road one. When my wife reached the Cornerstone Panera, they were super-busy but they still took the time to give her the order without charging her for it (Fulfilling the same order). I go here every now and then for lunch because it's close to my job. The staff are friendly and my food is usually ready within a few minutes. Food is always tasty. The only issue I had was once when it was really busy they forgot to put salad dressing in my bag and I didn't realize it until I was already back at work. Mistakes happen so I didn't really care - I just make sure to check the bag before I leave now. read more

Every time I've been here its been the same as any other Panera I've been to--fantastic food, (reasonably) fast service, and kind people. just opened my chicken cobb salad with avocado and it have neither chicken, nor avocado. My office is located next door and we use them a lot for catering...the manager said that I could have a salad on them the next time I'm in. No offer to drop by my salad. I love Panera, but the online ordering system has become an issue. I have now ordered meals through the online system multiple times, and twice the order has been incorrect (providing meat in what should have been a vegetarian salad, thus making it inedible). Apparently there is some glitch in the system that enters the salads without chicken as salads with chicken (or so I was told). I talked to the manager, and he said he would send me gift cards because of the mess-up. However, it has been a month and no gift cards have come. I have to wonder if he was just placating an angry customer by lying about what he could do to help. It really is a shame, since this used to be my go-to lunch spot. For the past 3 years I have gone to Panera Bread in Westford, MA. For 3 years they can not get my order correct. I am very allergic to pickles and I tell them about my allergy but they keep putting a pickle with my food. But each time the Manager at the time was sorry and he would go out of his way to drive my lunch to me in a reasonable amount of time. Last week, I placed my usual order and when I got back to work, I had the pickle. I called and the Manager on duty at 11:45 to inform her of the error and she was sorry and she would get me my lunch, I let her know that I had to leave work at 1:30 and I would need my lunch before then. At 1:30pm I still had no lunch. When I called them back, they really did not care. This Manager should be fired. Panera prides themselves on good food, good service and they pay attention to allergies - just not at this location. Stay away from Westford if you have food allergies. I also never got my money back and I had no lunch that day. read more

The only negative I have to say about this place is the parking. The parking lot is not big enough for the magnitude of customers that come in and out. It's shaped weird and if you go all the way down the parking lot, good luck trying to turn around. It's a mad house if it's busy. I just can't get enough of Panera. Such great quality of food - I'm loving the pastas, but the salads are always decent, and the sandwiches and soups are the best! Westford's barista is particularly good - always has the right amount of foam on the cappuccino. Tables have been nice and clean lately, even at the busiest times, and the employees are always so helpful and never make me feel hurried. They are even patient with some undecided customers who would drive an otherwise sane person over the top. read more

I placed a catering order for delivery on June 5th. There were several problems with the order. The Bacon Turkey Bravo did not contain bacon or turkey on it! I placed the order online and made the following explicit note; "NO BREAD for the extra add-on tuna salad sandwich. The tuna can be placed in a bowl preferably". The extra tuna salad was completed omitted from the order. I called the catering manager Samantha to discuss our dissatisfaction with the order, and my call was never returned. my family have become the regular customer since it opened, it was all going well until recent 2 visits totally ruined my good impression. 2 weeks ago I went in little after 8pm, no one was in the line, and I waited as 1st in line for about 6~7 minutes until a group of customers came in, then the staff came out to take order. For two straight days, when I entered around 8:30 - 9:00 AM, there was *no coffee* - all 4 of the coffee dispensers were empty. It was about a 10 minute wait for coffee, with no apologies from the staff, and no sense of urgency. Also, their coffee is *much* too hot to drink.
