Had dinner with the family. Service was great and the food was generally good. But I love Tom Yum soup and it was such a disappointment. Not even a shadow of itself. Just sugar water soup basically. No sour, no fish sauce, just sugar. I get the imperative of modifying recipes to the American palette, but I do not get the point of creating an entirely different and totally unrelated meal and then giving it the name of an actual unrelated dish. Just call it sugar soup. Americans will lap it up. You'll sell more. To be fair, it's not just this place. I keep ordering Tom Yum soup from different places, being wildly disappointed, telling myself I'm never going to do it again, and then doing it again and then being disappointed again. I highly recommend this restaurant!!! My son who seems to know his Thai food recommended that we go, and he said that the drunken noodles were the best he had ever had! Four of us went and no one had a complaint. We were very, very pleasantly surprised. The service from Soraya was amazing.... I never had to ask for a water refill and that's always a problem for me at any other restaurant. Drinks that we ordered were Cosmo's, Mai Tai's and whiskey, lol that's me ... nice pour. What I'm trying to say is everybody loved their drinks! PunThai Kitchen opened in December 2024, in the former Crane Restaurant on West Pearl Street in Downtown Nashua offering dine-in and takeout with online ordering available. This is the same ownership as the former Thantawan Thai Restaurant, sort of a relocation from MA Route 113 in Dracut MA to 113 West Pearl St in Nashua. I stopped by PunThai Kitchen for takeout on a chilly Saturday night. I placed an online order through Toast, ordering a Large Yellow Curry with Tofu ($13.50) with jasmine rice and an order of Tom Yum Pad Thai ($12.95). My order was bagged up and all set to go when I got here 15 minutes later. I went back to the house to enjoy my takeout food. The Yellow Curry and rice were packed separately. The Yellow Curry had a mix of firm tofu pieces, pineapple, potatoes, carrots, onions, & peppers in a mild spicy yellow sauce. The side of rice was soft, filled 3/4 of the way in the pint container. The Tom Yum Pad Thai had a mix of soft rice noodles, egg, shrimp, chicken, bean sprouts, scallions, & ground peanuts. Both dishes had solid good flavors and of course there was leftover food for the next evening. read more

Been to many Asian countries for business over 30 years. This was the best, unique taste, Asian food. Still very Thai, but sweet/sour sauce with the 3 Flavored Duck was a savory sweet and sooo good. The chef is absolutely crushing it with his mother and our server who was super nice and attentive while running the dining room and the bar. They've just opened so me and my wife tried them for the first time on our "date night " thurs 12/19. Anyone who is familiar with the former Thantawan Thai in Dracut, MA will immediately recognize the fresh, flavorful food being served at PunThat Kitchen. The new space in the downtown area of Nashua is really nice. Nice lighting, nice decor, clean and well kept. Overall during our visits here we have had an great experience. Very welcoming staff. Great, fresh food, excellent service. I keep meaning to try the drinks but every time we go it's like lunch on a Saturday or weekday and I'm usually driving. The Tomyum Pad Thai, Beef Bulgogi and the Crazy Stir Fry are some of my go to dishes here. The gyoza are excellent and if you're a chicken wing guy like me, try the Mama's Chicken Wings. My wife really likes the curry options here. We have never had a bad meal and even though this place is like a 40 minute drive for us, we'll keep going. read more
