The food is reasonably good. But it is sooo loud. And there were fewer than a dozen people. I would go there for take-out.

What we got: Smoked Bacon and Dried Tofu Stir-Fry Deep-fried Oyster Mushroom Spicy Sir-Fried Shredded Potato Every one of these dishes was just perfect, and the menu has so much more to explore. One important note is that many of the authentic and different dishes available were on the in-house restaurant menu though I didn't see them online. Not sure if I missed something on the website, but I was very excited to see the menu they had in-house. We also enjoyed some equally authentic tea with our meal - the meal was good at every turn. The guy serving us - who I took to be the owner - was super helpful with suggestions and very friendly. Everything we had was cooked fresh, so not super fast, but definitely in reasonable time. The chef was amazing. If you are looking for a place with truly good authentic food that falls a bit outside the New England Chinese staples, I strongly recommend Oxyear. This is a small local corner restaurant, but well worth the trip.

Natick Mall has really changed since when I was a child. It still at heart is a mall, but now it…read morehas lots to offer. I think the most prevalent thing I've noticed is how there are a lot of entertainment options now. Dave and Busters was the first to open, followed by Level 99. Now there's also a Puttshack and a Bosee Pickleball club. I think this adds a layer because it turns into "just a mall" to a social gathering spot where you could shop, eat, or have fun. There's something for all ages with this. Now when it comes to the shopping, there's still your average clothing stores, there's beauty and jewelry stores like Sephora and Pandora, and also a Macys if you want a department store. There's also a wing with more high-level luxury stores, like a Zara, Louis Vitton, Tiffany, and David Yurman. I think this area is nice if you want luxury but not to travel into Boston. There's a lot of empty stores in this wing too so hopefully they get filled soon. Food options are good too, they have a food court, Cheesecake Factory, P.f. chang's., California Kitchen pizza, and the food inside of the entertainment places too. Overall this mall has been renovated a lot, and I think for the better. It encompasses a lot and you don't have to come here just to shop, but you can if you'd like. I will say though they have plenty of parking which includes free garages, people are still unkind around the holidays and you might be circling around for a while before you find a spot. Parking is always hard here no matter what and I know people who avoid this mall because of it, which is sad but I get it. I heard if you come on a weekday morning it's better.

I love the metal musician sculptures. The huge diorama by one of the entrances shows this spot in Worcester when the canal was the main source of traffic for goods. This is after all The Canal District. Today the canal is under the street just outside that door. Times they do change things. I very much appreciate these types of eating venues. A few high tops are located along one wall in a hallway toward the back. We found one larger table in a small alcove nearby the high-tops and then there is an open area at the front that hold about twenty tables or so. A microbrewery is attached to the market too. All the vendors we spoke with were very friendly. Definitely could have walked away with so much food and loose teas and gifts. Wow, this mall is great!…read more My friend keeps telling me that malls are a 20th century concept, and while I agree with him, going to the mall is just so much fun. They really do have everything here: sports stores, a game stop, target, clothes, electronics, a food court, etc etc. On that note, the food court is kind of lacking, due to it having only a handful of options: a taco bell (shudders), a burger king, a generic Chinese restaurant, and so on. Still, it doesn't deter people from coming here. The thing I like the most about the mall is the Dick's sporting goods store, which has an impressive array of products in stock. Virtually any sporting brand you can think of is represented here, and all for a decent price. True, you can get any of these things over amazon and in two days basically, but the mall 1. has clearance sales 2. you pay no sales tax! This brings me to another point, which is the fact that none of NH pays any sales tax, so people come to this mall all the time from out of state. This place is actually situated right on the NH side of the NH/MA border, so it's easy to imagine this place was built with Massholes in mind. Honestly, while going to the mall is an outdated concept, it is still terrible fun. The only drawback to this one is that there is no movie theater.
