Cup of soup missing a third from the top. Stingy, stingy, stingy. And this happens all the time at this location.

I hate giving reviews like this. But when I've written about this place for years, and they make no attempt to,read their reviews or take any of our advice to heart, you know the manager is simply stubborn and could care less what people think. It's down to his bottom dollar, nothing more. I just ordered a meal for my husband tonight. He was sick and I just got over being sick. We needed some comfort food soup salad and sandwiches, and their amazing Lemon Drop cookie which I hear is being discontinued. When the order arrived my tomato soup, which is tiny to begin with, had a solid inch of empty space at the top. This Panera is notoriously stingy. The Green Goddess salad was also not topped off. My full chicken sandwich had 2 onions on it barely any cheese, and the chicken was rubbery dry and cold. At the end of our meal, we discovered there was a pizza at the very bottom of the bag, which obviously belonged in someone else's order. Let me tell you this is not something you want to order from Panera to go. Much better when you eat it there. It's also a little too salty This Panera needs a reboot, better training, with less stingy manager.

It's 7:00 Pm on a sunday night. There is only 6 people dining and at least 7 workers. Every booth was dirty and also several tables. during the entire time we were eating no one came to clean up.It is unfortunate the environment is so badly neglected because the soup and sandwiches were very good. The dirty dining room definitely took away from the experience and the desire to come back

    A little more cheese please!

This Panera Bread really seems to have taken a dive since it opened. The dining area is cluttered and a bit grimey, and while the food is prepared quickly the quality is inconsistent. My sandwich had cheese on maybe a quarter of the bread, and it was melted on so it's not like it shifted when I was eating. The staff is friendly and accommodating though - even though we were there close to closing they took it in stride and without nasty glances.

The tables aren't always clean, but the food is fresh and the service friendly and attentive. The free wifi isn't a bad touch, and the atmosphere is pleasant despite the busy crowds they generally attract. We come here pretty often, and the food quality is very consistent. Great for a quick bite, a relaxed meal on the go or an impromptu but casual business meeting.

Ordered pick two blt and chedd broccoli soup I got bread this time finally but no soup but a soup spoon though

It's a typical Italian deli, there's a few tables in the main area and someone off to the side if you want to eat in! They are so much more than just deli food, they have a full catering menu and everything I've ever had from them has been delicious! Today I got the Il Padrino which has prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and basil! So good and the bread is perfect for a panini! Definitely consider Alfredo's for all of your catering needs!

As I was leaving today from my first (and definitely not my last) lunch visit, I told the awesome staff "I hope to have reason to host a catered party so I can call you." *** The look and feel of this place screams of "home" to me. I'm from NJ and miss the true delis in every neighborhood. No offense to the Litchfield Hills, but I don't want books, artwork for sale, or jazz in my deli - and I sure don't want prefabricated sandwiches that are trying to inspire my esoteric side. Alfredo's just hits home. Home cooking. Very generous portion. Fantastic bread/rolls. Staff that made my experience great beyond expectation (they even gave me a sample of the day's special panini for my feedback... spoiler alert, it was terrific)! From what I tried today, everything was good. But the chicken cutlet is literally worth the drive from anywhere.

"Heart made of glass, my mind of stone Isn't it lovely, all…read morealone?" (Billie Eilish) I was thinking about what word best describes this morning's breakfast at the Village Market & Cafe. The best word I can come up with is "lovely". Everything was lovely -the dining room, decorations, the craft goods and pricing from local artisans, the pricing, choices, quality and quantity of the foods, and especially the service and hospitality. If you want an overall lovely vibe and experience, you really need to visit. Their menu board is divided into two sections, with breakfast on the left and lunch on the right. We were there in the morning, so with breakfast on our minds we checked out the left board and saw breakfast sandwiches, bagels, a kid's menu, and a potato patty side. My wife ordered a single egg sandwich on an English Muffin ($4) with bacon ($1) and a potato patty side ($1). Now those are very reasonable prices, so I really don't agree with some of the price bashing I've seen on this page. I ordered what turned out to be one of the very best breakfast sandwiches I've had in months. My Breakfast BLT was a feast of toasted rye bread, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, and two fried eggs. It kept me full for half the day, and at $10.50 was worth every penny. Village Market's coffees are sourced from "Those Guys Coffee Company" out of New Hartford. Our coffee was excellent ($3 for a 12-ounce cup). Oh, and there is one more reason why our visit was lovely - our conversations and interactions with Evelyn. She and her daughter are owners, and she was super friendly, and just a real pleasure to meet and chat with. And to add one more reason to visit is this -they also sell ice cream! This was an easy FIVE STARS for all of the lovely features of this lovely spot.
