It was around lunch time and there was a decent flow of eat-in and carry-away customers-a number of whom, judging by the greetings they received, appeared to be regulars. The person taking and making was warm and friendly. My granddaughter had, and loved, the chicken Gyro. My wife really enjoyed the falafel. I had fried fish and was impressed with the texture, taste and serving size. We all agreed we would eat there again if we were in the area or visit the location in New Haven that I walk past once a week.

It kept me full for half the day, and at $10.50 was worth every penny. Village Market's coffees are sourced from "Those Guys Coffee Company" out of New Hartford.
