Cup of soup missing a third from the top. Stingy, stingy, stingy. And this happens all the time at this location.

I hate giving reviews like this. But when I've written about this place for years, and they make no attempt to,read their reviews or take any of our advice to heart, you know the manager is simply stubborn and could care less what people think. It's down to his bottom dollar, nothing more. I just ordered a meal for my husband tonight. He was sick and I just got over being sick. We needed some comfort food soup salad and sandwiches, and their amazing Lemon Drop cookie which I hear is being discontinued. When the order arrived my tomato soup, which is tiny to begin with, had a solid inch of empty space at the top. This Panera is notoriously stingy. The Green Goddess salad was also not topped off. My full chicken sandwich had 2 onions on it barely any cheese, and the chicken was rubbery dry and cold. At the end of our meal, we discovered there was a pizza at the very bottom of the bag, which obviously belonged in someone else's order. Let me tell you this is not something you want to order from Panera to go. Much better when you eat it there. It's also a little too salty This Panera needs a reboot, better training, with less stingy manager.

It's 7:00 Pm on a sunday night. There is only 6 people dining and at least 7 workers. Every booth was dirty and also several tables. during the entire time we were eating no one came to clean up.It is unfortunate the environment is so badly neglected because the soup and sandwiches were very good. The dirty dining room definitely took away from the experience and the desire to come back

    A little more cheese please!

This Panera Bread really seems to have taken a dive since it opened. The dining area is cluttered and a bit grimey, and while the food is prepared quickly the quality is inconsistent. My sandwich had cheese on maybe a quarter of the bread, and it was melted on so it's not like it shifted when I was eating. The staff is friendly and accommodating though - even though we were there close to closing they took it in stride and without nasty glances.

The tables aren't always clean, but the food is fresh and the service friendly and attentive. The free wifi isn't a bad touch, and the atmosphere is pleasant despite the busy crowds they generally attract. We come here pretty often, and the food quality is very consistent. Great for a quick bite, a relaxed meal on the go or an impromptu but casual business meeting.

Ordered pick two blt and chedd broccoli soup I got bread this time finally but no soup but a soup spoon though

Terrible service. Terrible food. Ridiculously expensive. Just go somewhere else. There is nothing good to say about this place.

We live around the area kept saying to ourselves throughout the night "why haven't we been here before? We've been missing out on such good food" There seems to be a lot of seating both inside and outside so that's a plus since we were able to get seated right away without a reservation on a Friday night. (they were already pretty busy) Our waitress was so friendly and super attentive even with all the tables she had. Now on to the food! Everything was cooked to perfection and beautifully plated. You could tell that whoever is cooking genuinely cares about the food that is coming out of that kitchen. To start we ordered the Spinach Artichoke Dip w/ Garlic Parm Crostini and the Antipasto Salad. (Not pictured) Everything came out in great portions to share and even the crostinis were packed full of flavor which brought the dip up another notch. The salad was fresh, colorful and absolutely delicious. For our entree we both ordered the Steak Frites-cooked medium. Both of our steaks were cooked to perfection and the chimichurri was herby, savory and even had a little bite to it-it was phenomenal. To add to the mix the frites had parm & garlic to make them even tastier To finish, after a very long day- we knew that an affogato would just finish this meal off perfectly and we were right. It was delicious and the candied walnuts were such a nice touch to add for texture. (My husband now has a new favorite dessert) Needless to say we will absolutely be back, and more than likely bringing many others in tow to share an absolutely wonderful meal!

It's a typical Italian deli, there's a few tables in the main area and someone off to the side if you want to eat in! They are so much more than just deli food, they have a full catering menu and everything I've ever had from them has been delicious! Today I got the Il Padrino which has prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and basil! So good and the bread is perfect for a panini! Definitely consider Alfredo's for all of your catering needs!

As I was leaving today from my first (and definitely not my last) lunch visit, I told the awesome staff "I hope to have reason to host a catered party so I can call you." *** The look and feel of this place screams of "home" to me. I'm from NJ and miss the true delis in every neighborhood. No offense to the Litchfield Hills, but I don't want books, artwork for sale, or jazz in my deli - and I sure don't want prefabricated sandwiches that are trying to inspire my esoteric side. Alfredo's just hits home. Home cooking. Very generous portion. Fantastic bread/rolls. Staff that made my experience great beyond expectation (they even gave me a sample of the day's special panini for my feedback... spoiler alert, it was terrific)! From what I tried today, everything was good. But the chicken cutlet is literally worth the drive from anywhere.

We went with the good ole free tap water. The restaurant is decorated like what I could imagine a home in Italy would look like. We dined at lunch time but still decided on the 24 oz boneless ribeye for two. That came with crispy potatoes and spinach. While we were waiting for our food we ate some really nice homemade bread that came with olive oil for dipping. Our steak was so tender my husband had beeb cutting his with a butter knife when he noticed his steak knife was on the table still next to his place. Our steak was seasoned beautifully and there was not a piece left over. Normally I prefer a butter or sauce for my potatoes. However, these potatoes were seasoned so well and crispy it wasnt needed. Now I left the spinach for last because I dont eat it. My husband ate it and he enjoyed it because it was not bitter! Finally when our bill came it was in a Pinocchio book which I thought was a cute and clever play on the restaurant name - Geppetto‼

There is not a more welcoming and comfortable place I can think of. The food backs it up - which is the main point. My only suggestion for first-time diners, perhaps ask your server if the chef will consider delaying courses a bit. In our group of four, we wanted to try/share 4 different apps and a meat and cheese board. Because of their dedication to a promptly and accurately coursed meal, all four apps and the boar all arrived at the time time (by design). Makes it really uncomfortable at the table with so many plates. But if that's my only gripe - that's all you need to know. This Is A Must Go!!! My favorite restaurant around.
