Extremely slow. Not enough staff to get stuff done. Cashier was very confused and unfriendly. Lounge area is dirty and our orders were incorrect (which cashier seemed upset with US about). The couple behind us got the wrong order as well. Not an apology in sight. To the management team: It's great to have a healthy option close by, but wish you could get the employees trained properly. 0 stars for me if you have to visit this one please go between 6am-5pm because their night time crew sucks I came through the drive thru and nobody came to the window for 30 minutes I was waving knock on the window because I had a drive thru pick up for a lemon drop cookie. So I called inside the store a child answered and I told him why I was calling and he said to me all I have to do is fuck him in the ass and hung up the phone. I see all the workers laughing at what he just told me like really this whole Panera bread is a joke if you want good quality service no matter the time go to the one in mesquite. This Panera is up the street from my house but if I have to drive 20-30 minutes to get good service I will do that. i ordered and waited and waited and no delivery. So i called, and was told that Panera DOES NOT deliver. i was told that i had to go through doordash or some other company. Why is panera bread's system set up to take all of my information, including my personal credit card/debit information only to be told that panera bread does not deliver!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! oh, yes, i am so pissed off, so mad. just how many others have placed orders and are still waiting. I'm so excited to have a Panera close to my home! This place is awesome. The broccoli cheddar soup is the best. It is very quaint inside. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The drive thru is quick. So whether you dine in or pick up, you must try it soon. read more

Awful. On our way to a wedding so we stoped here, we love Panera! We ordered a Chipotle Bacon Melt and a GRILLED CHEESE as part of the pick 2 meal menu. First of all, they literally threw the bread in the top of the bag and then threw some napkins over it. Didn't put them in paper or in a little baby just put the on top of everything they'd been touching. With the rise of COVID especially that's Ridiculous & unsanitary. To make matters more frustrating, they gave us A "Half Smokehouse BBQ Chicken Sandwich" instead of a Grilled cheese. Only reason I know that is because I checked the menu as I didn't even recognize what the heck that sandwich was supposed to be to begin with! It's was the worst display of a sandwich, not to mention THATS NOT WHAT I ORDERED!! How do you get THAT from a Grilled cheese????? Rowlett's Panera Bread is improving even under the Covid circumstances. Service is a bit more streamlined and friendly. It helps to examine their menu to make the best choices in terms of value. Their food can be overpriced if one isn't careful. My favorite is the Mediterranean Bowl with Chicken. Be sure to join their loyalty program to get perks like $1 pastries with your meal. read more

I have been so disappointed in the service at this location. This comes as a huge letdown since I was so excited to not have to drive all the way to Rockwall or Mesquite. However, I might as well drive the extra miles because I have been to this Panera about 10 times since they opened and I have YET to get the correct order in the drive thru. Typed at the bottom of the receipt says something along the lines of "accuracy matters to us so if your order is incorrect get a free treat on us." So after I drive all the way back to to the window and let them know something is wrong they act completely inconvenienced by the fact that I'm asking for the correct order. I've never been given anything or offered any sort of refund and few times an actual apology. I tried for several days to call and contact a manger (not during peak meal hours) just to politely suggest that the staff get more training and I'm always told they are too busy to talk to me. I really hope the situation improves or I will not be back. read more

Staff including Manager seem to lack knowledge of product ingredients. The manager told me "I can look it up later but I don't have time righ now." It was 9am weekday and the place was empty. Horrible customer service, the drive thru staff doesn't even say a simple "hi", they just throw the bag at you take the money and close the window. I got ahold of the manager to tell him about my experience and he acted like it was no big deal. I will never be back. read more

Why can't I get a decent meal at Rowlett Panera. Three times I've ordered a warm grain bowl-One of my favorites at most Panera Bread restaurants and the rice was ice cold. Like it came out of a refrigerator. At least half the time the order is wrong or we are completely missing items. The management here needs to change. read more

First time In a while that I decided to order from the counter.....and probably my last. No one at counter, so in I was like "hello?" No response 5 min later nada and by then another couple had come in. Finally a girl came up and with a TON of attitude goes "I was making coffee geese". But since I didn't want to cause a problem I smiled and went "it's okay" the couple behind me did not look as happy. I ordered my bagel and was told "go that way and wait" that's it, no sorry, no my bad you waited 5 min to order, but you move on and maybe she was just having a bad day. Sooooo I slid down to pickup area to pick up windows area....there's good news.....not. The two people working there looked about as lifeless as zombies, both were just shuffling along and looked like they couldn't care less. Almost 10 min later I got my 1 bagel.... with a tossed bag onto the counter. GREAT FOOD I ADMIT! The only person working seemed to be the manager and that dude was working his butt off. read more
