Ruth and her entire team at Panera are so friendly! My husband and I eat here twice a week, and we are welcomed like family everytime we walk in. The food is great, the prices are fair, and the customer service never disappoints. Thanks Panera! read more

Panera bread has gone downhill. I genuinely used to love this place over the past month. I've gone twice today. I went for an Asian chicken salad and the salad was withered and 90% rinds, chicken was mushy and barely in existence, and the creamy chicken wild rice soup taste like baby food. A few weeks ago I went and got sandwiches with me and my family. The sandwiches barely had any meat and the vegetables on the sandwiches were all old. Today was officially my last day going. Their quality has gone down downhill. read more

Panera Bread - Tomato Basil BLT - Salad Near Me - Rowlett, Texas

Team manager Evelyn took care of us and has great customer service will definitely come back to visit.

I WILL NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION AGAIN !!! I went to the drive thru 08/13/2025 I ordered a broccoli and cheese bread bowl and half size Italian salad . When I got to the red light I check my order . The bread was cold , the soup was cold , and the top of the container the salad was in was half open and some of the salad was at the bottom of the bag . I went back to that location , and gave the bag back to them and advised the person at the counter I needed a re-do on everything because it was not hot or salad intact . After getting the redo I went home , GUESS WHAT - I have no idea what the soup was , but it WAS NOT broccoli and cheese bread. I threw it in my backyard for my dog ... read more

Every now and then I crave Panera for whatever reason, I stopped by to eat yesterday after a lake day. I kid you not I literally have food poisoning now. I only ate fruits beforehand and when I got home just my normal chicken/veggie mix that never gives me issues. I've had the worst stomach pain all night and day and I'm pretty sure it's food poisoning from this Panera my stomach literally won't hold anything for more than an hour. read more

Men Of Honors Church comes here every Tuesday night. Elyse does a great job at taking care of us. The food and pastries are great!

The only reason they even get ONE star is because we like their wild rice soup! We went earlier for the Chef Chicken Signature Take sandwich that they've been advertising on tv, and we were EXTREMELY disappointed! It was a cold bun with a standard sized chicken breast, but I had to take the sandwich apart to see if it had any greens or parmesan crisps on it. I counted 4 small pieces of lettuce/greens, and 4 half-inch parmesan crisps, that were nowhere NEAR crisp. When we went to sit, every single table had crumbs & water marks, clearly indicating they weren't wiping their tables. We had to wipe our own, then watched one of the employees continue the shoddy job of clearing tables. I reported all this to the Mgr (that looked straight out of high school) and to give her credit, she offered to remake our sandwiches, which I declined, and thanked me for letting her know about the table clearing. Guess we're gonna have to find some good wild rice soup elsewhere cuz we definitely won't be returning to Panera! And that's just sad cuz we've been going to different Paneras for years. But this one in particular, and the one at Firewheel, have turned us off completely. read more

Forgot my pastry in the drive through and this is not the first time this has happened. $46.83 total. Ruth was very pleasant when i called up there and said she'd make the order right if I'd come back so I'll make a special trip to get my kitchen sink cookie tomorrow. I don't usually go to Panera, but my wife wanted to stop here today. Bad idea. We hit the drive through. Ordered two items and a couple baguette's $26 Get to the window noticed an error and also on the receipt it says quality matters tk them. Long story short 25 minutes while we wait for them to correct our order. Manager "Brenda" was nice enough to. She tried to help, but did the minimum. I would have comped our meal. In full. Just for the 25 minute wait. If you put a statement in your receipt saying "Quality Matters" back it up. Won't be back. read more

Brand new Panera in Rowlett, TX 10-24-2019. I got 1st check-in & review covered. Really nice interior, outdoor umbrella tables, drive-thru, even a kid's menu. Be sure to look at your food before driving away. I ordered a whole Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich and received less than 1 tablespoon of chicken salad on the entire sandwich! I have photos but nowhere to upload them! read more

I usually love this Panera but today I was really disappointed. I will say the people there especially the drive through people are always super nice, so this is not a reflection on them. Today is Sunday, they're supposed to open at 7 according to their website. I show up at 7:20 and sit in the drive through and wait for 10 mins because there is no one there. I try calling, no one answers. Finally someone came through on the drive threw speaker and says that the openers got a late start today and they're not taking any order yet. Unacceptable as a business. What if I had placed an online order? I wouldn't be getting that either. Really irritated. read more

They took 10 minutes to give us our order than screwed upon it. So had to get home to cold food No one in drive thru or in the store and could not get 1 order right. Then gave me a frontega chicken sandwich with no chicken. In addition their blueberry muffins do NOT taste like all the other Panera breads pissed customer read more

What a disappointment- extremely slow service and manager is not particularly sympathetic to complaints. It is difficult to get an egg sandwich made correctly and when I told the worker at the drive through her response was "that's the way it comes". PS - look at the menu. It isn't with a scrambled egg. Don't go there unless you are meeting a few girlfriends for leisurely coffee dates this seems to be the target audience, not people who need to get to work and can't afford 10 minutes wait time in the morning. The only reason I continue to go there is the monthly coffee club, and I'm probably going to cancel that. Add the fact that the location makes it difficult to get to and what looked like a fun addition to the neighborhood is a real let down. read more

Covid protocols are well in place. Ordered the broccoli cheese soup in a bread bowl which was awesome. The broccoli Mac & cheese was more like the soup with pasta shells thrown in it. The steak and white cheddar was horrible though. Absolutely no meat to go with the name. I'm here for dinner at 6:00, They should have enough for a sandwich. Service was very friendly. What we had did have great flavor, just lacking the execution behind the line. read more

Amazing staff, clean tables, healthy and delicious food options!!! Don't forget to order the Bear claws.

Excellent spot to hangout and read a book or do your assignments. The manager also takes notice and cares for her clients.

Service is friendly. Food is good. Facility is clean. The GM Elyse cares about her customers and treats people right.

I drive by the Rowlett location on my way from work. From the opening of this store, both food and service have been hit or miss. I order through the app, so there should not be any misunderstandings, but at least 50% of the time, my sandwiches have vey little meat or something is totally missing. Some of the staff at the drive through window are nice, but again hit or miss. I am a good tipper, but I WILL NOT tip through the app when I can't be guaranteed a successful order. read more

Very good had a 10/10 experience very satisfying! Would try again ! Employee are very kind and make you want come back agin

New location. I dined here on a Thursday evening at about 6pm. The restaurant was modestly busy but I give it one-star due to extremely slow service. I ordered a Fuji chicken salad. That was 18 minutes ago and I'm still waiting. The food at any Panera is always good quality but this location has work to do on the service side. I really hope ownership reads this negative feedback and take appropriate action, as it would be a shame to not take full advantage of this favorable location in a high density traffic area. Update: To compound matters, they messed up my order--still waiting on my food. 30 minutes counting now. read more

After the gym, dropped by their drive-thru for dinner. Ordered the Pick 2, a chicken southwest chicken salad and onion soup. Asked for and received extra cheese in the soup which was delicious, but the salad dressing was only 1/2 full and didn't cover the salad. If the price for this combo wasn't $12.23 with no drink even, I would have given it a 3. Oh, and there were 2 huge end chunks of lettuce in the salad. Also, my usual comment about drive thru's, they don't thank you, they say, "here you go". read more

Panera Bread - Huge end pieces of lettuce in salad- yuck! - Salad Near Me - Rowlett, Texas

Been twice and the same issue both times. My chicken salad sandwich had, literally, one tablespoon of chicken salad. I don't mind the higher priced sandwich, as long as it's fresh and an adequate quantity of ingredients. Ridiculous business model to serve a sandwich drastically lacking the primary ingredient. This is the ONLY Panera Bread that I've had this issue. I won't be back. read more

This is the slowest and most unapologetic Panera in the area! They will probably write this review off as COVID, but they have never been fast. It took 30 min to get a breakfast sandwich made Togo. I ordered through the kiosk at 10:12, went to ask about the wait at 10:41. No apology, just asked what name I put it under. I explained that I didn't use a name. In about 30 sec I had a breakfast sandwich that is lukewarm and soggy. Excuse the service due to COVID or write me off as a Karen; the experience is unacceptable either way. read more

We came in a few hours prior to closing on a weeknight. Only a few other customers. All the tables were dirty, and several employees were standing in the dining area, talking with a customer, who from the conversation was an employee. I was disappointed by the signs that they no longer deliver food to you, and as there wasn't an employee at the counter, we HAD to use the kiosks to order. Of course, the spot to add a tip was in large print on several screens. They were out of baked potato soup, and the server wasn't sympathetic at all. We haven't been to Panera in over a year due to rude employees and cleanliness issues at the Freewheel location. Our trip to the new Rowlett location wasn't any better. read more

Went through the drive thru this morning. I was asked to wait to order at the menu board. Waited about a minute or two. Ordered then was told to drive to the window for my total. Then when I got to the window there was no one there and was completely ignored for about 4-5 minutes. Then I was finally told my total (pleasantly enough) and given my food. I ordered a breakfast wrap that was awful small fo $5 and change. The wrap bread itself was hard, dry, and chewy on the edges. read more

Great place for good coffee in the morning. I miss the almond pastry, but the bear claw is a good substitute.

Make sure you check your to go bag. They gave me an empty bag of utensils and forgot part of my order. It wasn't even busy inside or through the drive thru. When I went inside and told them what happened they never apologized and brushed me off. read more
