    Who mistakes nuts for bacon?!??!
    Mel Z.

I am absolutely dumbfounded by the mistake Panera made on our order today. We ordered the Bacon Mac and Cheese. When we opened the cup, we found not bacon, but NUTS on the Mac and cheese. I don't know who can mix up bacon and nuts, but this was a huge mistake. Along with that, our order was all mixed up (chips instead of bread, etc.). I like Panera, but would NOT recommend this location. Photo included

This location gets hyper-busy, and it has drivethru service also. Very ambitious plan by Panera, might have bit-off more than could chew. This is in Rockwall, Texas I-30 shopping district, and right on south side of I-30 at Ridge Road. Rockwall is a nice town, and a very safe place to stop. However, the wave of relocations to Texas is flooding all the streets. Sounds like NASCAR with drivers trying to not be late. Panera has a drive thru, you must enter near the front right side, wrap around to the back. Parking lot then, is very busy right next to front door entrance! Once inside, a customer touchscreen order & pay kiosk is along on a counter. You can bypass this by walking to the bakery counter where staff can take your order. Ahh, the bakery goods, everything looks so good! How can anybody rush through this decision? Pecan Braid pastry, and Oatmeal Raisin cookie with Berries were my choices! The "Avocado, Egg Whites, Cheese & Spinach on Oat Bagel flat" & hot coffee were my breakfast. Everything was good, but the eggs were overcooked, left on grill too long. BUT, I ate it ALL, whoosh! The End. But, there's more! The ambitious menu here for lunch/dinner has many great deli sandwiches, salads, bowl dishes, soups, hot teas, iced teas, fresh fruit drinks, and smoothies too! I need to boomerang back here, get lunch.

We did a drive through order. The Drive through cashier was very attentive and answered all of our questions. Our order was very simple but it was complete. The wait at the drive though could use some improvement as it took 10 minutes and we only had one car in front of us. Creamy tomato soup served with a half A French baguette and four very crunchy (hard) croutons. The soup was delicious.

They were very fast and helpful. I was nervous to come here because of the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised! It was yummy and our food was out in about 6 minutes!

Green Goddess Cobb; needed more meat and tomatos (and/or olives).

Interesting alternative to Jason's Deli for a healthy lunch. Order at the counter, but be prepared to choose from a list of confusing names - with no descriptions or photos. This is the single biggest barrier to more stars; food quality supports 4-5 stars, but who knows what you are ordering?? After ordering, fix your drink (good variety of soft drinks, teas, and juices). The server will bring the food to your table; an unexpected bonus at this price point. Our food was excellent - if suprising (inadequate descriptions from staff).

They forgot to put the chicken and avocado on a chicken avalado sandwich. How do you forget the 2 main ingredients.

45 minute wait for them to mess up my order again. Idk why I keep giving this place a chance. They forgot to put the chicken and avocado on a chicken avalado sandwich. How do you forget the 2 main ingredients. This location messes up my order every time I've been here. I'm not going to this location anymore.

Salad lovers... let me introduce you to your new favorite salad. The green goddess cobb salad is to die for! I could eat it everyday, I stop here for lunch 3 times a week. It's healthy and fast, which is hard to find. They have a rapid pick up option on the app, it makes it possible to get a good quick meal for a busy person like me.

    Burned bread, burned cheese. Nasty.
    Jason A.

This place is disgusting. I've been three times since it's opened, and it's consistently bad. You can see here, the bread is burned, the cheese is browned and it's not melted together at all. Everything in our order was poorly made, and it's been this way each time. Don't waste your time at this one. Panera's elsewhere have been good, but Rockwall's is just not good.

Visited this restaurant one cold afternoon nothing better than a cup of soup, service was good, they have lots of options. Ordered a tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. My food was ready pretty fast since I took my order to go I opened my to go order until I got home, to my surprise the soup was there and a piece of bread but my grilled cheese sandwich was no where to be found I was very disappointed since their customer service was great too bad they don't pay attention to their to go orders.

BLT on white miche, add onion, and tomato soup.

Delicious food. Most of the time service is good and the ambiance is casual. There are times where you'll have to wait a bit when it's busy in the kitchen. But restaurant is fairly clean and if you're looking to work here, it's a friendly environment.

Panera has stepped up their salads. Recently had one of their Greek style salads and it was very tasty.

For dinner you can't go wrong getting the 10 oz filet medium rare. It always comes out cooked to perfection. On this occasion we stopped by on a gorgeous Thursday afternoon around 2:30 and were delighted to sit out on the patio and choose from their brunch menu. A Fabled Burger and Turkey-Chicken Club later, we were full and happy.

The owners personally created/decorated it and it's the most inventing space I have been to that serves two purposes - eating and reading. Walls of books greet you as you enter, along with big wooden tables and chairs with a desert bar set up. Wonderful! And when you go into the restaurant, there comfy books lined up along the wall, more table and chairs in the middle, and a touch of home with couches and table in front of the bar. And I don't want o miss out in the description of the restrooms - because they are something to see. A sliding door for the restrooms are books that have been arranged so you feel like you're in a somewhat magical feeder with. Oils arranged in fascinating shapes. They also have a separate room for events and meets - and wow! It's gorgeous too! It truly made me want to host an event here just to experience this room. The food is delicious and the waitstaff are great at making you feel comfortable and welcome. This might have been my first time in this restaurant, but it's just the start of many visits here.

The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and beautifully curated without trying too hard. The service was top-notch. Attentive and friendly server -- you can tell they care about every guest's experience. Every bite was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with quality ingredients and pride. If you appreciate delicious, high-quality food and a charming atmosphere, this place is a must. We were roaming around the old courthouse Square downtown and stumbled upon this jewel. The atmosphere is really laid-back cool and their prices are quite fair. We split the bruschetta salad.. it was HUGE!! Very fresh with a wonderful, light dressing. The cheesy bread that comes with this salad is very good. Interestingly, it is served under the salad. For our entrée, we split the meatball lasagna. Again, a huge single portion, so splitting it was perfect. We have many terrific restaurants around us - Grapevine, Colleyville and Southlake. However, this was one of the finest Italian meals we have had anywhere, including Little Italy in Boston. Everything was so flavorful and hearty. The garlic toast served with the lasagna was also excellent. By the way, the old-fashioned with Makers Mark bourbon was superb as well. Based on our first-time experience, there is nothing NOT to like about this establishment. I just wish the portions weren't so generous so that we might have had room for the coconut cream pie. BTW, Hailey is an excellent server.
