Panera Bread is a great spot for a quick and healthier meal option. Food was good, fresh, and reasonably priced. Ordering on the self-service machines was super easy and convenient, and the food came out fast. It can get pretty crowded during busy times, but overall a good experience. Nice ambiance. read more

It's a fun time there and I love their food, but like their chicken is kinda gross when it's cold . I love eating there and we usually get our food in good time . Good music playing. Really no other complaints than that of the chicken read more

There meatballs are horrible no season just meat horrible meatball sandwich ill never get it again.

Mediocre food. Went there three times I get an upset stomach every time I've ordered. Won't be going back

The smoothies are great at Panera. Chicken salad sandwiches are awesome. I like their chicken noodle soup

I really enjoyed my meal at Panera. I was shopping around Tanger Outlets and was starving for a Healthy meal. Panera Bread has always been my go to when I'm looking for a great Healthy meal. My green tea lemonade was bad and the woman at the other end of the line told me I was wrong. The drink smelled of a sour fruity alcohol. They DID give me a refund, AFTER they told me that I was wrong. Unfortunately, my go to Panera is not one that I will be able to visit anymore. I'm quite upset that they needed to call me a liar about the issue. I was told it was just the pulp from the lemons, clearly you can see that is not the case here. Lemon pulp is not a creamy white substance. I'm beyond repulsed that I have ingested this stuff unknowingly. Here is a pic to show you the black clump and white mold on the bottom of the cup of this drink. I pray I don't get sick in the time of COVID-19 from a spoiled drink. I'm really really disappointed. read more

Tables need to be cleaned more. Used to go twice a week until the cashier said we couldn't order 2 salads for the pick 2 anymore. The prices keep going up while the portions keep getting smaller. read more

I love Panera bread- I mean, you really can't go wrong with any location lol The food is just so damn good! When I drive out to visit my dad, this place isn't far from the expressway so I usually stop in here for lunch. I like the the combo thing- the half sandwich and soup deal. The Broccoli and cheddar soup is my favorite. This location is very big. It has an outdoor eating area as well as a nice big parking lot which is very much needed since I don't think there has ever been a time where I haven't gone here and it wasn't packed. They definitely do very good business here- that's for sure haha The service is always nice and fast too despite how crowded it gets sometimes, so that is a big plus in my book. I highly recommend. read more

I always look forward to Panera, for breakfast sandwiches or lunch, I would go every day but today the Riverhead Panera served me a sandwich that tasted greasy, and it actually tasted like it was soaked in old grease...yuk! They were friendly and quick but I will never go back there. Thankfully I work near Panera in Commack read more

Don't listen to the bad reviews on here. They were most likely a reflection of the rude people of the area and not the actual quality of this Panera. This Panera is fabulous. Everything tastes exactly like you'd expect and the service is lovely. Very nice and professional workers who really will do everything for the customer. read more

If you're shopping at Tanger Outlets and want breakfast first, coffee or just want a good meal? Panera Bread is about a mile away! Panera Bread. I do enjoy some Panera once in a while and I always get the same thing, a bread bowl with chicken noodle soup and a side of chips. Their bread is very tasty and fresh. My problem is that they gave me all noodles and no broth. I understand that the liquid soaks into the bread but that's why they need to add less noodles and more broth to make up for that. They have a large selection of fresh breads, bagels, and pastries. Also they have many soups, salads and sandwiches. Panera is a good place to go for a quick lunch. read more

Panera Bread at this Location was very satisfying. On our way to the Tanger outlets we were in the mood for something quick yet Fresh and satisfying. Good thing we came across this Panera Bread because everything was exactly what we wanted. I order the "Pick 2" Soup & Sandwich combo for under $7 which comes with a side of Chip or an apple. I ordered the Cream of Tomato soup and Turkey sandwich with Manchego cheese... Awesome and Fresh tasting. (Tip: you can request your Soup choice to be served in a Bread bowl for only 50 cents more). Fresh Sandwiches, Soups, freshly baked Breads & pastries made on the premises, delicious and inexpensive, what more can you ask for. read more

Literally the worst Panera around. I will go out of my way to go to a different Panera, just so I don't have to go to this one. They don't bring out curbside orders and the staff really isn't very nice. The orders are very rarely accurate, my order always has mistakes or missing items read more

I always enjoy my visits to Panera. It's a mixed bag as far as friendliness of the cashiers, but overall they are okay. Sierra turkey on focaccia is my favorite (not on the menu anymore but they can still make it). I absolutely love their chipotle mayonnaise and usually ask for extra so I can dip my sandwich in it! The black bean and chicken noodle soups are both excellent. I usually get the black bean soup. For dessert, the bear claw is always a winner! This Panera is clean, accurate with orders, and a comfortable place for lunch! read more

Read the reviews and thought maybe people are exaggerating about this location.. WRONG.. Despite being clean and having courteous staff at the registers.. My food didnt taste like the panera im use to getting in the city.. It was off.. Cant exactly pin point what is it.. But try it out and you will see what i mean.. But my stomach doesn't lie and I definitely paid for it later.. actually 30 mins later.. How do you mess up soup and a sandwich.. Its like culinary 101.. Welp they figured out how to.. Today a cashier gave me a very nasty attitude and was very impatient as I ordered. When I got to my car I noticed my sandwich was extremely burnt. I came back to get a new sandwich and when she saw me she stopped smiling at the customer in front of her and looked at me in disgust. I politely told her her about my sandwich and she was very nasty about it, even rolling her eyes at me. I understand and sympathize with people in the food industry deal with difficult customers but I definitely was not one of them. This was unacceptable and unwarranted, I'm very dissatisfied with the service I received today. read more

Very disappointed with my salad. Never had such poor quality Romaine lots of core in the salad. Ordered Chicken Cesear it did not have any parmesean cheese, but had wilted romaine, too many crotons, to mask the fact that this was NOT a Cesear, and the chicken was cut too thick. Should have read reviews regarding this particular Panera. read more

A very big fan of Panera but was not impressed with this visit. The food was decent; I've definitely had better at a Panera before. What got me was the very small portions here. Where half Panini's are usually cut in half, mine was hardly a quarter of a sandwich. Side of bread to go with my soup was very small as well. Everything tasted great and the service was quick, but very disappointed with the portion size is all. read more

This has to be the worst Panera ive ever been to. First cashier is miserable. Then the people making my food ignored me when I asked 3 times if they had a tray for me to carry my food. If Yelp allowed zero stars, I would give them panera in riverhead zero stars. I've had so many bad experiences in this store. I've had my food is not ready on time for pickup, burnt food, incorrect food. My visit yesterday, finally sealed the deal. After waiting approx 20 min for 2 1/2 sandwiches, and seeing numerous people Get there food before me, I asked the manager was helping make food if he could check on my order. He replied, we have two lines. I'm like so what does that mean I just goes to wait, to which he replied you just have to wait it's lunch time. I said how is that fair, so because the computer assigned me to a differnt line, which is very slow. I said you know just refund my money, to which he replied you have to go up front for that. Idk aren't you the manAger. I asked for his name and I said I'd discuss it with corporate. He said no problem corporate knows we have two lines and it can be like this at lunchtime. I asked do they know you are so rude to customers. Mike the manager replaced I've been working here 15 years so I guess they are fine with it. I approached corporate via Facebook, got a generic response. So I guess panera doesn't care how rude the associates are at this store. If they even read the other Yelp reviews, they would see. I'm done, I'll take my money elsewhere and I suggest you do too! read more

This Panera used to be good but the last 4-5 times I've went it's been really bad. My Mac n cheese last time was so old and not hot, I could tell something was wrong with it as soon as I picked it up. I told the manager and she made me a new one. But why are they sending food out in the first place that doesn't LOOK appetizing?! They always mess up something and I don't think I'll be back :/ read more

Left the gym and was feeling a sandwich. Where else are you gonna get one of those on such short notice. Maybe one of the 40 Deli's in the nearby area but maybe not. I got the chipotle chicken avocado melt which is always delicious. If there's one thing better than the food at this place it's the chaos that takes place in this parking lot. I have coined the title "satan's circle", to describe the atrocities that occur within. From the hours of 1115am to about 2pm you won't find a spot. What you will find is middle aged women with no jobs fighting for spots and elderly people, average age 98, traveling at high speeds of .4 mph looking for spots as if they are trying to locate the mothers of the children that run rampant throughout the restaurant. Both impossible to find. I don't mind tripping over the kids or listening to them cry my entire meal. But the only questions I have are why aren't these in school? Also how are there so many middle aged women in the parking lot but not in Panera itself? I've sat. I've pondered.. and I've decided to invest all my money into Panera bread stock. If my predictions are right, they are merging with some sort of daycare conglomerate to compete with private daycares and should skyrocket any day now. I suggest you invest all of your money as soon as possible. I don't think they went public so this could be considered insider trading. I'm going to leave a picture to at least show I eat here and that this is a review about the food not insider trading. (Invest soon though) read more

This Panera is a hit or a miss. Every time I go I either have a really nice and enjoyable meal or the food is gross. I've had plenty of cold paninis to food missing ingredients. Based off my last meal I finally decided to write a poor review. I ordered a chipotle chicken sandwich and my girlfriend ordered a fontega chicken panini but we both might as well have ordered grilled cheese sandwiches. My sandwich had about a fourth of the typical amount of the normal chicken and my girlfriend had even less. Not to mention she was missing onions and some other green thing, probably basil. Also the wait was much longer than normal. There was only one staff and a manager making the food. read more

So I went there yesterday. My cashier was cool there was no issue. She was patient- I had to transfer money to a special card I use l to get a discount here and she was really sweet about it all. I really appreciate people like her. Of course the food is good - it's always good. read more

Despite what people say Mary the manager is a very kind person ! Very helpful with everything and is very polite always. This the third time we have been to this Panera. And while the quality is always consistent and rotating offerings are interesting, the one thing that has also been consistent is the snippy attitude of the cashiers.
