Cold meze
Joel S.

This little Turkish restaurant was packed at 5:30 on a Saturday. The staff were pleasant. We shared the cold meze to start. It was excellent. I had a combination platter that was really good. Friends who had been here before said that the food was better than they remembered. Prices were moderate. A better than expected Turkish meal in eastern Long Island. One of the best restaurants in the area.

Lovely waterfront place in the hamptons, very authentic Turkish food. I visited with my sister, who says it's one of her favorite places in the area - now I know why. The chicken and lamb were both stellar.

Very welcoming restaurant with a sweet family running it. The place is cute inside and really charming for outdoor dinners. Food was great! Portions were good and price as well. I'd definitely come back, no wonder it was packed.

7/19/25 Turkuaz Grill is always fantastic, the people food and service. It is not fancy by any means, but it will satisfy you in many ways!

My parents and I have been coming to Turkuaz Grill for several years now. I've had quite a lot of Turkish food, and let me tell you - Turkuaz Grill is the absolute gold standard! The platters are just remarkable. Every item on the plate is just so wonderfully seasoned. Cutting a piece of meat and forking it together with the bulgar, rice, salad, and beet salad makes for a truly heavenly bite. The restaurant itself is small, but so welcoming. The owners are lovely!

Came back last night and had a nice dinner on the river. Ordered the baba ganush, hummus and fried liver apps, and had the kids cheeseburger for dinner. Light work, but super tasty!

What a quaint and lovely place...right by the riverwalk. The service was stellar along with recommended beer and wine. We hope to be able to find that Turkish beer somewhere!! We enjoyed the spinach pie as an appetizer. No additional seasoning was needed for anything! I had the chicken kebab which came with the beet salad that I wanted to have earlier but was happy to find out it was part of my dish! It also was served with another side salad, and rice. My partner had the Donner wrap. He said it was exceptional! The meat was so tender and tasty. We really enjoyed our dinner and time there.

Mid spot, Mediterranean salad was a 3/10 top being generous. Staff was ok nice I guess but wasn't attentive , I was dying of dehydration and never got water refill. Tables were also sticky inside

Went here for my son's birthday. Wonderful service from Mustafa Can and Sudenaz. Friendly and so attentive. Enjoyed the whole experience. Will keep coming back.

Falafel Appetizer

Today was our first time at Tukuaz Grill. I was here many years ago but after seeing it on News 12 East End, that sparked my interest. We ordered the humus and the babaganoush appetizers. I have no pictures but I will say we devoured them quickly! They were both tasty and excellent. We just needed to ask for more pita. For lunch we had the lamb kebab, Doner platter and the Falafel. Here's my take on the food. The portions are all very nice and came out hot. My wife enjoyed her Falafel and m my daughter in law enjoyed her Doner platter. My Kebab was 8 pieces of lamb but I thought that the seasoning was kind of bland. I was expecting that string lamb flavor like when you are biting into a nice Lamb Gyro at the diner! Again, it wasn't bad, I just didn't get that "wow" of flavor that I was expecting from the Lamb. I think the meat was missing a little char to it as well. I also tasted the meat from the Doner platter and felt the same about the seasoning. My daughter in law said it was delicious so maybe it's just me..... who knows, Covid again? I hood not LOL! I will go back but then I will go for the Lamb Gyro.

Food with hot sauce

The ambiance, right on the river was beautiful. While it is more of a fast food Turkish restaurant, the meat is delicious and seasoned perfectly. I would have loved a pickled veggie for more depth of flavor, instead of everything being raw. Also when I asked for Turkish hot sauce... guess what I got. Seriously guys, check the pic. We tried a delicious bottle of Turkish wine and ended with Turkish coffee and birdnest. I can see why this restaurant has a good following.

The two times I've been in, they've brought out samples of thier menu items to try. I want to expand and try more things, like the chicken and beef kafta. If you have questions just ask. Certain platters come with different items. Some rice, some salad, etc. Thier pita is fresh and delicious, and comes in different sizes. They have a decent sized dining area for dine-in, and the take-out area is right as you walk in the side door. Here you will also find a grocery area with Lebanese essentials. The selection is sizable, and offers items you won't find in a regular grocery store. I stocked up on spices, and coffee. Prices are reasonable, and portions are generous. I will return every opportunity I get.

Also, try the salads or the shrimp appetizer. The space itself has a NYC vibe, a/k/a a little tight, but comfy. In the summer they have nice outdoor seating behind the restaurant. Wow, we were seriously impressed. Parking was easy with plenty of space, the diner itself was spotless, and the interior was bright and welcoming. The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in, and we were seated right away with no wait. Edgar took care of us and was fantastic. He was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming (and yes, "took care of us" feels more accurate than "waited on us"). We started with two soups: beef barley and lentil. Both were absolutely delicious, comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Of course, I had to try the mozzarella sticks, and they did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked, and the marinara sauce was thick, tasty, and not watery at all. For our entrees, we ordered the Philly cheesesteak melt and a beef/gyro panini. The portions were generous, and the flavor was even better than expected. Even when we were full halfway through, we still wanted to keep eating because they were just that good. We couldn't leave without dessert after walking past the display on the way in which showed so many options. We went with the chocolate layer cake, and holy moly. The slice was massive (looked like half a cake) and absolutely amazing. We couldn't finish it, probably should've skipped the fries , but it was hands down one of the best cakes we've had in a long time. Overall, an excellent diner experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back and will likely become regulars. It's that good.

The service here is absolutely phenomenal. Everyone is so welcoming and genuinely cares about making your experience special. From the moment we sat down, our server was attentive, funny, and full of great recommendations. You can tell the staff works as a team and takes pride in what they do. Drinks arrived quickly, plates came out piping hot, and they checked in just enough to make sure everything was perfect without ever feeling rushed. It's that kind of service that makes you feel valued and keeps you coming back. Now, let's talk about the food, because wow. Every dish at Mykonos Greek is a flavor explosion of freshness and authenticity. The gyro platter is out of this world, loaded with perfectly seasoned meat, warm pita, and tzatziki so good you'll want to take a pint home. The moussaka melts in your mouth, the souvlaki is tender and juicy, and the grilled octopus might just be the best I've ever had. Every plate looks beautiful and tastes even better.
