Great selection of drinks and beer. Lots of popular appetizers. The proprietors have been here for years after coming from Aquebogue's former Meeting House Creek Inn. Pierogies, kielbasa, and stuffed cabbage are all excellent. Air conditioning was set at 78, which is too warm for my comfort. Decor was meh, but friendly staff and awesome food make up for this. I'll be back for the food! read more

My wife and I had stopped by a local restaurant which didn't have any booster seats, we also weren't thrilled with the menu. We were craving burgers and looked up a local burger spot on Yelp and came up with Pulaski Street. We are so glad we did! I got the ultimate burger, with sweet potato fries, and my wife had gotten the California burger which had avocado on it. Both burgers were outstanding, and our waitress, Leslie went out of her way to be extra sweet to our son, who enjoyed all the attention. As well as the ice cream she had recommended. Lol. This down to earth bar and grill, has excellent food at good prices. Highly recommended, we will be back. read more

My friend and I decided to try local restaurants in our neighborhood now that more are opening and last night we had an early dinner at Pulaski Street Grill. I would pass by all the time but never ate here. I loved the way the restaurant was set up. A nice size bar and against the wall there was a counter with stools where you can sit and have drinks and food if you didn't want to sit at a table. There were also tables and booths in this part of the restaurant and then there was another room with more tables. I found the decor to be very nice. We started off with a drink. I had their specialty mojito (love mojitos this time of year) and it was awesome. My friend had a specialty margarita (strawberry instead of the watermelon) because our waitress Leslie recommended she try it with strawberries. My friend loved it. For dinner we each had a burger. I had the New York Burger with Jarlsberg instead of cheddar. It was absolutely delicious. My friend had the Pulaski Street Burger and said that it was also delicious. I'm not a lover of beef but I have to say that was the best burger I've had. Our waitress Leslie was very friendly, pleasant and attentive. Pulaski Street Grill is definitely on my list of restaurants to go back to. read more

The food was good. The ambiance nice ( for a bar / restaurant). The reason for the 2 stars was the service. It was slow slow slow. There was an overlong wait for our food and beverage. Additionally it was a long wait to get our bill processed No reason for this. We were in the area this past Friday and I stumbled on this spot thanks to Yelp. Small parking lot and plenty of street parking around too. Walked in to see some regulars at the smallish bar, playing keno. We were greeted right away and sat at a spacious round table towards the back. Not a huge dining space, but it wasn't very crowded during our visit. Our server was doing it all and super nice, taking great care of us. The drink selections weren't massive, but some usual suspects for wine and some draft beer selections (more macro). Quite a large menu and prices were reasonable since they included a side too. I decided on the meatloaf sandwich and it was fantastic. My wife had the Reuben and she loved it as well and my kiddo was a huge fan of the gourmet mac and cheese. Stopped by for food after the outlets and this place looked good. It was quiet, a few regulars at the bar and a couple of people dining but is was nice. The bartender/server was very sweet and attentive, it was a relaxing environment. The food was great, a few notches higher than most bar food with a great menu selection and lots of specials. Such a perfect spot for lunch or dinner. The NICEST staff with some of the best and most consistent food around. The burgers will literally knock your socks and shoes shoes off so good and fresh and tasty. Their wine and beer is always solid and if you're feeling something strong the bar is always open. Very convenient location in Polish Town. Most customers while I was there seem to order burgers with fries. Nothing appears to be a house specialty. I've had better burgers. Mine was not the way I usually like it. Too much like medium to well done. Service is good. Seniors like this place so they are doing something right for them. I'm sure it's a matter of taste as in the Town of Riverhead you will find numerous places serving burgers to your taste. I have my favorite. read more

This is what Yelp is all about. How do you choose a great restaurant in a town full of eateries? Go on Yelp and get directed to a fun, homey, friendly place the Pulaski Street Grille. Varied menu, great drinks and a nice selection of beer. French onion soup was a meal in itself with a thick delicious hockey puck of cheese floating on top. We had flatiron steak, chicken saltimbocca, Pulaski street burger and mussels. Which was a wide variety of foods but the hallmark of a great restaurant is that they are all done to perfection. Punch Pulaski Street in to your GPS and go have a great meal. read more

The addition of Stella as their popular bar tender is a a plus as well. Pulaski street grille is a real neighborhood place. I loved the atmosphere I loved the food and I loved the service. From the moment we stepped into the place we felt relaxed and taken care of. This s not a fancy place at all but well prepared food , nice bread basket and attentive service make this a true find. The fish tacos were great. Had a cabbage slaw on it with a little kick. The fish was fresh and plentiful. The bratwurst and knockwurst combo was very good and the potato pancakes were outstanding. All portions were large. Oh did I mention the delicious fries which I asked for extra crispy and that is how they were done. We were too full and skipped dessert. Oh there was a problem that I made. My water glass slipped out of my hands and within seconds 2 people were at the table sipping it up. We will be going back real soon. Worth the trip read more

Went here for lunch for the first time since I was passing by with a friend, we ordered the Asian Style Wings and The Pulaski Street Burger, both were really good, well cooked and flavorful! (One of the best burgers I've ever had!) The service was on point and very nice, highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already! read more

Came here today in the middle of a gross rainstorm and there were still people coming out to get some good food and cold drinks! My boyfriend loved the sausage lunch special with the potato pancakes and I got the baked mac and cheese which was fantastic. The bacon in the mac and cheese wasnt chewy and gross like some can be and the cheese sauce was creamy and flavorful while still being light enough to have room for dessert! We shared a creme brulee and it was so satisfying. Our waitress Leslie was super nice and was covering the entire restaurant when we came in and we still didnt have to wait long for anything! read more

First time in last night. Didn't know it was there! I live locally and didn't realize. Great experience. Had a res but sat at the bar Bc it was quiet. Fantastic happy hour. 8 dollar big burger cooked to perfection. Great Asian dumplings (fried). Amazing homemade strawberry shortcake. Friendly and very nice bartender Sean (or Shawn or Shaun?). A last minute decision, my husband and I were taking my sister-in-law to dinner and I read the reviews and realized we had never been here. A delicious old fashioned. You have to like a bartender that can make the classics really well. The seafood app, the salads, the "just out of the oven" soda bread muffins, all do very good. The burger, cooked to perfection (ordered rare and it was actually rare) was awesome. Big, juicy and very tasty. My husband had fish tacos and thought they were quite good and really enjoyed them (the only suggestion would be perhaps to serve three instead of only two). My sister-in-law had a seafood pasta dish, the seafood was fresh and flavorful. A really stand out was the service. I'm sorry I did not get the name of our waitress but she was phenomenal. What a hidden gem!!!! My family and I came here for dinner Sunday eve. We were surprised how great the atmosphere was! The place is great for family, charming, quiet, and clean!! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious! We had the mussels for appetizer, and yes, you will want to drink the broth like a fellow yelper had mentioned on a review. The burgers were tasty and juicy with yummy fries. For desert we had the strawberry shortcake, it was so so amazing. We devoured it within a minute! Small place, maybe 10 tables and a bar. They do have a pretty diverse menu. My wife had a burger which she said was good but not a standout. I had the blackened Mahi-Mahi sandwich, which I say is a hit. Fish tasted fresh, a good amount of Cajun seasoning gave it that kick that mated with the Asian slaw for a nice creamy spicy combo. Sweet potato fries were well done as well. light and crisp, not over oily which is easy to do if you treat them like white potatoes. The place is a litltle off the beaten path in Riverhead but being only two or three blocks off the main drag should stop you from giving them a try. Gad I did. read more

Delicious! My friend and I were pleasantly surprised by this family owned and operated restaurant. I had the sauerbraten and almost licked the plate:) the burger, salad with homemade blue cheese dressing, potato pancakes, red cabbage, cole slaw, and the peach blueberry crisp were also winners! Ok I may be bias (last name is Polish)but I had not had Polish food this good in years! So I walk in to this wonderful little pub for lunch and what do I notice, no Polish food! Burgers, fish all of that stuff. I asked the bartender and she got me a Pulaski Platter off menu with all the classics. Two things stood out. The Sour Kraut, sweet, tart, smokey. I find out they make it themselves, just amazing. The Perogies dough was so good, thick, had that slight under cook dough flavor you lose when you freeze something. These where not frozen. I sent pictures to made dad to make him jealous. 5 stars in my book! read more

My husband ordered the burger and he devoured it. The truffle fries are a must. Last time they had a better more varied beer selection. This time they only had one IPA on tap but it was good. It took a minute to seat us but not a big deal. Only one bathroom in the restaurant which was a bit uncomfortable. We estates on the rear deck where there are plastic or vinyl windows. As I mentioned it as rainy and cold and the cold wind was coming through the windows. They have heaters on the rear deck but they were not very effective. I had the Rigatoni Bollonese, which was very good. My wife had some kind of chicken. Not the greatest. I know they get good reviews but this day was a bust.

We were asked about drinks upon arrival and refills during our meal, as well as coffee with dessert. My garden salad was full of a variety of greens and vegetables and the vinaigrette dressing was a perfect complement. Others at my table enjoyed the Cesar salad option. My entree was enormous, a perfectly cooked and very large piece of salmon. Served with rice and steamed veggies, it was yummy, filling, and satisfying. I would definitely return for a meal.
