I've only ordered door dash from just salad and it hits everytime, I love the hot honey harvest it's like my most perfect salad configuration. The chicken is cooked perfectly not dry, the ingredients are fresh, dressings are delicious. Solid salad spot in my rotation! read more

Just Salad is one of my favorite salad spots in the city so I was so happy that they're expanding into Long Island! Especially since this location is in a plaza so it's convenient for parking and grabbing your bowls! The staff is great, super friendly and works quick if you're here for a grab and go meal. They have several pre-designed salads and bowls on the menu (which are great by the way) but I personally prefer to make my own bowls. All of the proteins are delicious, especially the braised chicken thigh and there's a fairly good variety of dressings, which are all flavorful! read more

This was my first time back to Just Salad in Commack after coming to an Elite event here for the grand opening. I WASNT DISAPPOINTED!!! This time I had a make your own salad. It was delicious!!! The ingredients were very fresh and tasty. The dressing was a lemon vinaigrette which was light and refreshing. I once again got the pineapple lemonade which is a sweet and tangy refreshment. The people working here are so nice. I also love the environmental aspects of using biodegradable bowls as well as compostable utensils. And having the trash area easy to navigate between these things. Jessica is the manager or owner and she was walking around the dining area making sure everyone was happy with their food. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JUST SALAD IN COMMACK! read more

I have had several salads, at least six, from this restaurant. The ingredients are on display and visually appear fresh, and when you bring the salad home everything tastes fresh. Because the ingredients are fresh, the leftover salad lasts in the refrigerator for a few days before you notice any changes. For the salads that I have brought home, the weight of the salads has also been good, usually around 24 ounces +/- a little either way, but a good portion and filling. The restaurant is open for a healthy lunch and/or dinner. I have compared the Just Salad restaurants on Jericho Turnpike in Commack and Motor Parkway in Hauppauge. I found the restaurant in Commack to be superior in taste and portion size/weight of salads. read more

Love just salad. The best poblano ranch dressing. They need to get back black beans for vegetarians though. Love this place. Worth it if they get it back read more

My boyfriend and I have come here for dinner a few times recently, for a healthier option that's similar to CHOP'T which we love. I really really loved the seasonal sweet chicken bowl (with mixed greens, pickled red cabbage, regenerative quinoa, roasted chicken, sweet potatoes, tajin spiced carrots, pumpkin seeds, and hot honey goat cheese). Fancy salads with a LOT of differently prepared and spiced ingredients are exactly why I come to fast casual salad places. I never have the time to make all of the different components, so it really feels worth it to me. The last time we came here, I got the winter harvest bowl, which had roasted chicken, mixed greens, red cabbage, goat cheese, apple, sweet potato, pecans, and regenerative black lentils. The lentils were barely cooked, some of them not at all, and some bites made me worry I chipped a tooth. Chomping down on raw lentils is a horrible feeling and it ruined what was otherwise a great salad. read more

Welp .. it happened AGAIN. Gave this place in commack a 2.nD chance. And they failed They made the whole order wrong yet again This place is run my a joke of a staff read more

Would love this place, especially the vegan options but, they NEVER get my order right. From adding real chicken when I ordered the Impossible (multiple times) , to completely forgetting the dressing multiple times to not having my order at the time it was suppose to be and having to wait 20 minutes or more again multiple times. I work very close and would have this as my go-to, but for what they charge (nearly $20 for a wrap or salad) I expect better. read more

Hands down the best salad I've had in forever. I went to my first yelp elite ever (so luckily I did not have to pay 15.00 for my salad). I guess considering what's in each salad the cost isn't too bad - it's just paying 15.00 for lunch just is not in my budget lately. The staff were great and everything looked super clean. I definitely recommend treat yourself once in a while to a healthy, tasty lunch! read more

We came here recently for a Yelp Elite event. Just Salad has been my go-to for fast casual if I can find one and they are popping up in LI. It is located conveniently in the same shopping center as Trader Joes with plenty of parking. Unfortunately, my favorite dish Warm Chicken and Goat Cheese is no longer on the menu. We had the Cilantro Lime Chicken which is my husband's fave and I selected a new bowl Hot Honey Harvest. The warm bowls were delicious and filling. Considering it was 8pm when we ordered, they were sold out of chicken thighs (hubby got the last one) and balsamic mushrooms for my dish and offered substitions for them. The hot honey goat cheese had a sweet kick, a little hot initially then it was fine. Service was friendly and efficient. This place is bright and airy. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town! read more

I decided to give Just Salads another shot since I went to the one in Manhattan for a conference and ended up LOVING it. I decided to not have the fried chicken but do the oven roasted chicken. I thought the salad was good and my boyfriend liked his. We tried the chicken poblano soup and WOW. That will be my new winter meal lol. I have not gone into the location before since I get it delivered. It was a lot better than it was previously. read more

I had a great first impression of the place because it was super clean and aesthetically pleasing. I was greeted by a kind lady who took my order with a smile. I ordered a Tokyo super greens salad with chicken. The food was really high quality and fresh, but the chicken was not so tender. The whole salad felt dry without dressing, so next time I'll have to get some. My boyfriend got a buffalo chicken wrap with light dressing and he absolutely loved it. It was pricey, but that's to be expected. If you're looking for quick convenient tasty yet healthy meals, stop by Just Salad. read more

A Vegan friendly, eco friendly, establishment that has reusable salad bowls. But it's just not salad. There's wraps too. Have a smoothie to complement your meal. The place has limited seating but it's enough. Not sure what to get the staff will help you with that. I only gave it four stars due to the fact protein is limited to chicken or tofu they should add another like shrimp. Ciao For Now. read more

Very much reminiscent of Sweet Green. Normally I make my own salads at these type of establishments. I got a Japanese-inspired salad here. It was good and it was a lot of food. Basically, this place is great for a quick bite don't the go. Staff was friendly and worked quicky. read more

I can still remember vividly , tweeting to Just Salad that they needed to come to Long Island. This was over a decade ago. Now they are in Commack and although their menu is vastly different I still commend this brand for sticking with their message of sustainability. A decade ago, I would walk in with my reusable green bowl at one of their sporadic locations in Manhattan. I would go between ordering the JS Turkey Club or Chipotle Cowboy. That Turkey salad is long gone but the Chipotle Cowboy still holds a spot firmly on that menu. It looks a tad bit different with the standard being plant based chicken for protein but you're definitely able to substitute. I enjoyed my salad and substituting the Smoky Poblano Ranch instead of the chipotle vinaigrette that it came with. That dressing brought me back! Finally this location is bright, spacious and still looks brand spanking new with how clean it looks. The staff hustled for the lunch rush and they were just overall friendly. Grateful that this spot is now here and I believe their other location is now in Melville. Now I need them to come to Queens! Hopefully it doesn't take another 10 years. read more

When they make your order correctly its very good. Ive had my order made incorrectly several times over the last year. The lentils have been severely undercooked on two separate occasions. The customer service needs work. read more

I am failing to find a good thing to say about this place, this is the second time they have completely messed up my order after ordering online, after waiting over 20 minutes for my order. This place needs better staff that's what is holding it back to its potential. read more

I've had this place a few times. The food is spot on each time. It is extremely overpriced and the "make your own salad" is VERY misleading ($1.99 for an egg, $2.99 for chicken PLUS $1.99 for cheese??? what's included in build your own salad????). It's extremely fresh thought and everything is made to order. Parking sucks! Between trader joe's, the pizzeria, dicks sporting goods, and like all the shops, there's never any parking. The service isn't horrible but they all could use some good training and customer service skills. The line starts in the back of the place. They're supposed to give you a slip according to the people at the register, but the line workers never do that. You can't hear anything, ever. Not many seem to speak english either which doesn't help when ordering. They did mess up my salad today, but they didn't forget to charge me for the extras I didn't even get. Today, what upset me and encouraged me to leave this review was because of how management was speaking to their staff. There was a new gentleman helping us and you could see he was learning. The female hire up was speaking down to him, which I found to be wrong, especially since it was in front of customers; Workers need to be kindly taught, not discouraged and be told "we'll send you home if you mess up" - This is why i'm giving it 2 stars. read more

Lets be honest, I love Just Salad! I was at my sister's house and ordered. As always, salad was delicious...my sister ordered the Mezze and is now a fan of Just Salad as well! read more

While the food and service was great the main thing that is not is it is completely overpriced. I don't care how fresh the Ingredients are we can all make a wrap on our own for less than what is being charged. You guys would have something really great if you adjusted your price point in this rough economy. Who can afford to even go out to eat anymore with this ridiculous inflated prices. 17 dollars my wrap came out to be with one tiny piece of chicken with salad, avocado, carrots, pickled onion and some of those crunchy things with dressing. It was delicious but I will not be paying 17 dollars for a wrap bagel chalet isn't even that much and they are known for being pricy. Total shame this could have been something great but considering it's in an area where people have more money I guess will Probably do well for folks that can afford it. Yes I was that person who took a picture or the size of the wrap I think it's fair people know what they are paying for and how much you are getting for it. read more

I went on February 9 2023. It was hard to tell who had ordered already and who was waiting on their food. They need like a divider or something. Dining room was a bit dirty. Staff seemed overwhelmed and definitely need more training. Food was tasty but not worthwhile. Had the Buffalo chicken salad with a side of their spicy avocado dressing. Overall just very average all around. Wouldn't go out of my way to go back like I did on this day, but I wanted to see what all of the hype was about. read more

Amazing food for a great value. Try the warm bowl with chicken. It doesn't get better. Also super friendly staff and a clean environment. The new go to place for a healthy lunch. read more

Salad was decent, yes overpriced, but what isn't? The reason for the three stars is the customer service. When you're quoted an arrival time for an order, it should not take 20 minutes longer than the quoted time. Getting someone's attention was also impossible so I stood there patiently and any attempts at communicating with staff was ignored. It was myself and one other woman and at one point we started laughing because she was also waiting 10 minutes longer than me. I ordered the salads at 630 and was quoted 710 to pick up and they weren't ready until 730. The food was good but if you want a quick dinner, I would honestly go elsewhere. read more

Amazing fresh ingredients, top qualities, and the best part low calories. Party of 4 and my 10 yrs old love it. We ordered a cesar salad wrap, added avocado and mix dressing super flavors, a poblano salad, a banana and strawberry shake and a chicken soup... Andy and Alexandra were great... outstanding customer service, the location is cozy and clean. Prices are good for the amount of rich nutrients and so much protein...We will definitely come back, tk you ! read more

Incredible service!! My first time trying Just Salad, I was greeted at the beginning of the line and explained how the ordering processes worked. I had just had a bad experience at Sexy Salad down the road where I had to walk out and I expressed my story to the gentlemen. The ordering process is very streamlined and easy. I got to the register for them to tell me my order was on the house due to my bad experience down the road! That was so extremely nice of them! I'm also 6 months pregnant and it just made my day!!! Not only was the service amazing but the salad was delicious!!!!! I cannot wait to go back and try something else! They have salad and a smoothie deal which I'm definitely trying next!! read more

I can't say enough good things about this Just Salads in Commack. The lure of healthy options got me in the door and the amazing customer service keeps me coming back. Leandra and Yessica are friendly, welcoming, sweet, and kind. My order is always correct and tastes fresh. The tables are always clean and the food behind the counter looks as fresh as it tastes. I am hooked. And if I didn't need another reason to come back I don't think you'll find a better deal than $9.69 for a salad or bowl when you bring your reusable bowl back!! I love that they finally opened a salad shop in the area! I work in the city and I love going to Chopt and Sweetgreen for lunch and this place is a great alternative! I would definitely order ahead so you can run in and grab and go! read more

The salads are fresh but the staff needs more direction and attention to cleaning and sanitation.

Finally tried this place today. The Chicken Poblano soup was great. The Chicken Thigh and Goat Cheese salad on the other hand was missing the mushrooms so I won't be going back. When I mentioned to a co-worker that I was going here he told me it's good but inconsistent. Looks like he was right. I mean besides Arugula there are 4 ingredients. So basically they left out 25% of my food. I prefer not to play "let's see what they forget today" when I order lunch. read more

Food is really good..service is not great. I've been standing in the store for about 25 minutes waiting on an online order.
