I ordered the French dip for take out. The sandwich was ready and waiting when I got there. The girl up front was friendly. The sandwich however wasn't great. I literally had to spit out the very first bite I took from it because it felt like I was trying to chew cartilage, and that sadly happened another 3x while eating this sandwich. I understand that ribeye is a fattier cut, but it's advertised as shaved ribeye. This wasn't shaved, it was a pile of somewhat flavorless chewy, thicker cut meat, mixed with hard pieces of fat with crispy onions on top of a somewhat soggy bun. It was not busy, but we unfortunately waited over 10 minutes in the front by the door before someone greeted us. There was a bartender but she never even apologized or let us know what was going on. We were finally seated without menus and just sat there with our two toddlers waiting for service. Once our server came, he left to get us menus. We were ready to order but our server went to two other tables that were seated after us and took their orders. By this time our toddlers weren't happy. After we placed our order, we waited a while for our food. The burger was good but the fries were extremely over cooked. They were dried out and crispy like deformed potato chips. So I used to be a frequent visitor when they had the Plainview location. But unfortunately that shut down, so now whenever we're in the area we like to come back. Justin manning the bar and taking food orders was awesome. Very fast service, extremely friendly. The ambience throughout was incredible. Everyone was very friendly and we engaged in great sports talk. For my entree I had the buffalo buttermilk fried chicken sandwich, extra well done added bacon and made the chicken extra wet. Got it with a side of onion rings and all the sauces I asked for came right out. This sandwich has always been amazing. Perfectly cooked, perfect amount of kick with bleu cheese and pairs amazing with the pretzel bun. The menu is extensive and you can also build your own The bacon on bacon burger lived up to it's name with big thick cuts of bacon, tasty bacon jam, and bacon infused into the burger meat itself. Stopped in as sign on street said $10 burgers all day. Apparently that goes only to 6 and if you sit at the bar not a table as our very nice waitress told us. Clearly disappointed as thought we were getting a deal and had already ordered our drinks we decided to stay. From menu posting you can see the cheapest hamburger is $15.99 with lots of up charges. We opted to order other menu items. I got the New England clam chowder which was a special- it was flavorful with lots of clams. Thinner/Creamer consistency than I normally prefer but still delicious. Also ordered was wings. They were meaty and tasty but note you only get 7. Not a very big order. And lastly the bacon Mac and cheese - creamy and great cheese pull. Overall nice decor and tasty food. He upgraded his side of fries to loaded fries which were equally as delish! The house cheese sauce was delicious! I had the Ahi Tuna sandwich without the bun. It was seared rare with a ponzu glaze, topped with red bell pepper and cabbage slaw with house ginger dressing. I also added avocado to it. It was yummy and fresh! Our sever was kind enough to ask if I preferred it cooked a little over it being seared rare. I upgraded my fries to sweet potato waffle fries. The fries came with a marshmallow dipping sauce. Only giving four-star since I've only been there once, but it was a five star lunch. Met my husband on his lunch break there with our baby and got the bacon bacon burger, he got the tuna burger, and the baby got a hotdog (obviously she ate like a quarter of it lol). My burger was delicious, a a little bit more cook than I like, but my husband told me I said medium not medium rare so that's all my fault. However, even with that it was still juicy and delicious. My husband said the tuna burger was fantastic and I saw the steer on it was beautiful. French fries were definitely addicting. My only complaint, very minor, is that it was very dark for a lunchtime. Not super impressed with this meal and it smelled very heavily of chemicals when we walked in (at least it was clean though!). We started with the spinach artichoke dip, the chips were gross. I didn't love that the chips were so heavily dyed, and they were a bit greasy from being fried.
